Update

• With this restart we are applying a new file to improve server logging. This is so that should the issue with mail and pets occur again this week we can gather better logs regarding whats going on.

Move your team to clean up the Bots. There are countless reports in the Warpportal ticket box waiting to be analyzed. Meanwhile, the bots remain on the same maps, and some have even reached level max because no one is doing anything to stop them. Don't let this server become a Restart for god's sake...

When you put it this way, it's very hard to argue.

 

That being said, events are great, however, I'd love to see different events that don't only reward those people who just happen to be in the location near where the GM is hiding to begin with.

 

For example: It would be fun to do a scavenger hunt wherein players are tasked with collecting a set amount of certain items that are found in the game (monster drops, creatable items, etc.) and then, the winners of the event would win an item OR have those scavenged items used to make a special costume or some such thing. I WOULD TOTALLY DO THAT.

That kind of assumes the CMs have the ability to ban bots, which I see no reason to think is the case.

It's really discouraging to see no action taken against bots despite having reported several of them. They really are destroying the server. Take a look at the market now-- zeny is oversaturated and inflation seems to be growing exponentially. How will new players have a chance and enjoy this game when things are unaffordable? Management of bots needs to be at the top of the priority list before it ends up killing the server.

This is true, but at this point, excuses get REALLY old, therefore, whatever they need to do, they need to do it now. Up to and including giving more leeway to all employees to ban - and as I said before, its obvious whose botting, it's not rocket science, so, they need to man up and quit worrying about having to restore a couple accounts that MAY get banned accidentally.

I have to wonder what Warp Portal's agreement with EAC looks like. With the way EAC has been doing basically nothing at all at this point, I hope they have some sort of recourse.

Why don't they make an event called CATCH THE BOT! The point is to go around looking for possible bots and if you manage to catch one and get it banned by a GM you get a reward based on how many you caught. Win-Win situation that is miles better than having the hide and seek event.

Doesn't matter if banning bots maybe will not fix the issue. This kind of action get our hopes high that you guys really care about getting ride of those boots....

I remember atleast Oda would stream every thursday where he go around looking for bot and banned them live.
