Im playing physical RK all the way and is comfortable with IB-BB-HS all the way til max
at the max i reset to IB-HS-Brandish-Clashing, and comfortable with that as i can do any instances without any difficulties

but then AOGH nation attacked, and nothing is the same anymore. RK's reliable skill are Brandish, Clashing, and HS (ofc IB all the way before H Amdarais)

i tried maxing out atk/damage/output (120+40~ STR, 1000+ atk) it give some nice damage but not more than 300k, but the spammability is pretty horrible

then I tried mixing DB-spear build (90+20~ STR, 600~ atk), it gives 100-150k damage and spammability is lotso better (used with DB gear for the acd,vct, and fct reduction)
all of those using overupgraded kingbird huntingspear ea8

from the data compiling, it is known that weapon atk is mixed with weapon weight for the calculation, also status atk, so STR and high totalATK is more favorable, also placing ranged modifiers here and there.

Im curious, 
do you guys out there been testing/using/maining this good skill? or you guys can dish out 500k+++/1m+ damage, or 200-300k damage with fast spammability.
please share knowledge or experience

I was thinking of something similar for my full DB RK. Borrow the ranged modifiers and the cast delay gears and and grab some ATK gears to maybe to solo Valk in ET, but haven't tested yet.

it can work but the hurdle is a lot harder than crush strike with a lindy. Spiral no longer ignore flee so you need to kill fast on the valk while it can dispel you. And then there's the issue that its single target when randgris likes to hurdle with its 3 equally fat minions. Very easy to misclick a couple a times and then just fall short of killing her before EQ/agi-up. Compare that to just properly aiming once from afar with a charge attack and crush strike. 

 

Basically its a skill thats highly similar to VP on RG right now. It can deal similar or more damage than VP but you need to deal with the ACD and ASPD (if you are using spear). RG faces the same issues with valk in general (dispel, agi up, single target skill). The damage is also highly reliant on str stats with how much status attack is valued in the equation, so you can't really deal fantastic damage without heavy investment in str (i'd say at least 90-100)

that's a nice video man, shedding light that physRK can go bio5, I subbed and liked, can you share the gear and stat adjustment for that RK?

yeah for the max spammability i think violet fear with DB gear is the most possible for spamming clashing, but lose 20%acd opportunity from TGL
I have resetted both skill and stat my RK again which make it suitable to draw out maximum benefit from DB gear, but also have 120 str, 149 total with bonuses
I will see how well it goes still using my hunting spear

Sorry the video isn't mine so I don't know exactly the gears and the build, you should ask him on Youtube. He commented that, but I don't know the cards and the stats. He probably have a Kiel though... and GTB.

Yeah I agree that flee bypass is a huge turn off, but a dedicated build to CS should be fun.

yeah i've asked him, he shared the build and the gears.
yeah without kiel, it need to be joined with hundred spears/brandish to keep the DPS going on. when i change fafnir to dress, taht 20% ACD hurts the spammability.

the new community headgear though, i voted the spear build one.. but i think the IB hat won

well i guess thats the so called "balance" trade off the bypass for damage
