Hello! I've got a doubt about the bounty boards.

 

I was reading the bounty board page on iRO WIKI, https://irowiki.org/...Quests#Overview, and read that the exp i should recive when I finish one is 150 x monster exp.

 

By now I'm doing the nogg bounty board at juno and realize that the exp i recived is not following this formula. I've got 5702 per kill of Nightmare Terror, and the exp i've got when finished the quest is the "half" of total. I should recive 855.300 and got 461.250.

 

Is this a bug? I believe the page is updated since they warning us "After the patch of July 25th, some of Bounty Rewards are no longer giving combined XP. ".

 I'm uploading some prints showing the exp recived.

The XP calculation is (supposed to be) based on their base XP value.

 

Then it gets modified by things like the current XP bonuses, VIP, etc.

 

Your kill XP is further modified by the level difference between you and the monster, if you have an XP costume on, if you're wearing a Happy shield or the balloon or any other gear that affects kill XP specifically.

 

The base XP a nightmare terror has is 2,443/1,832.  DP contradicts wiki's DB, gonna go wtih DP's numbers instead. You're getting over 2x that in your kill so it's safe to say you're lower level than it and so are getting bonus and/or are using an XP boosting costume/card/gear. 

 

EDIT: Though for what it's worth, the bounty board doesn't follow the 150x base XP rule perfectly, so eh.

all bounty boards are giving 2x exp, or 2.5x exp for vip players. it goes like our xp normaly, except for the costume goggles, it only works when we kill mobs. I guess the bounty just ignore the formula, it is not working, its something like (Exp monster x 120~130). Scaraba bounty gives much less exp when we multiplied it.

 

I really would like to hear some explanation from iRO team, if the wiki is wrong or bounty got a bug and it isn't working how should be

Nightmare terrors are level 107, so you were already getting a 15% boost there.

 

Worth noting, that I found divine-pride to contradict irowiki's DB for XP values. DP lists nightmare terrors at a base 100% value of 1,845/1,759. Which at x150 = 276,750. Which is very close to what the bounty board page on irowiki lists, leading me to think that's the correct value.

 

I'm not sure what's the deal with it either, something does seem off, but it's worth noting that the kill XP you get in game isn't going to reflect the bounty board value which will be based on the "base xp" of the monster.

 

But you're not wrong in concluding something is off; the values don't match up unless bounty boards outright ignore certain bonuses.
