Returning vet, unable to get past character select

just downloaded, patched and installed.

so its been about 10 years since I last logged in.  i can get to character select, but when I try to login with the toon i get the message "Disconnected from server"

When I try to log in again, the server recognizes that I am already there and tells me to log in again.  This is the case with all my characters and all my accounts.

 

Is there something special that needs to be done to get it to work properly these days?

i wish i could help but it can mean a lot of factors

try sending in a ticket.

If not, then your better off never coming back.

There's been multiple server merges in the past 10 years. You'll want a GM to look into it since you're in a unique circumstance with the changes that have happened since then and now.

The support ticket worked, now my storage is completely EMPTY!!

 

I am told that some kinda item lets you view your merged storages and get stuff out... I am continuing the support ticket to try and get the items back.. there was so much stuff in there.. i'd hate for that work to be lost.

 

I also have two accounts still to be fixed, but at least there is a path to get it fixed.  I just HOPE i can recover my storage inventory.

It should give you access to all storages available. 

 

It's a cash shop item, but you can buy a box from players too.

Another thing to consider is login to your Warp Portal account on the Warp Portal website, and see how many game accounts you have. When Chaos, Loki, and Iris were merged, if you had more than 9 characters across all 3 servers, or your Kafra storage was more than 600 across all 3 servers, then a new overflow account was created for you and all the excess was put there.

 

For example I mainly played on Iris, but had a few leftover stuff from Chaos and Loki.  My main account was "AccountName", but then I automatically got a new one called "AccountName_i" after the merge. My main Iris characters were on my original account, but the bulk of my Iris storage went to my overflow account.

 

So check and see if you got overflow accounts created for you.

@Prodigy,  I don't think that is a problem for me as one of the extra accounts was for pairing bard/dancer and another for vending.  These shouldn't have had too much in the storage. There were no automatic ones created.

 

UPDATE: I can now log in with all my accounts and I guess it isn't an issue of simply getting a Kafra Pass as the GM team is 'looking into it" and the process will "take some time"

 

I totally get that this stuff takes time. (I am a programmer and have worked with sql databases in the past, though never one as old as the official RO database)  I just wish they were a little less sparse on the details.

FINAL UPDATE:

I had to start a second support ticket to get access to merged kafra storage.  This was done by the GM Support team within 2 days.  They instructed me to visit a specific Kafra in Prontera and use the 'kafra pass' option that now showed up when accessing storage.

I was then able to get all of my old stuff from that storage and put it into the current one.

 

This issue is resolved!  See you all online!
