Hello all.

 

I've been wondering, since CC damage for gen had been reworked and the damage was cut down by so bad for most of CC gens, would item slings be good?

 

I mean, having Apple Bombs or Pineapple Bombs would help i guess?

 

However, I hardly see anyone lvling with such.

 

Can someone tell me why arent Item Slinging be one of the option for gene?

 

Currently I have like 27 skillpoints to spend and thinking of going to item slinging but since there arent any guide, so i'm wondering why there arent one?

 

Is the skill not properly implemented or due to the fact that making one bomb costs more n better off with AD lvling rather than IS lvling?

item sling and bomb creation will be removed in future updates (if we ever get to it)

 

as for CC, it still is a strong enough skill right now, it might change in future updates though.

 

just because it was fixed, does not mean it's useless. you can easily get no cast with the anniversary headgear or OCP and spam the skill. low to mid turn in, you will probably one shot most mobs. as for high TI to lvl 175/60, you can spam the skill easily with high enough dmg. just because its not game breaking anymore, does not mean its not overpowered.

 

just do not compare it to MA GX. everything else pales in comparison right now to MA GX.

i hope the damage as high as it used to be cause lvling in NCT is pain... it hurts, even with 90 vit it hurts a lot... can barely mob there..

thats the thing, looking at MA GX damage... not to mention other jobs as well, being able to 2-3 hit mobs makes me envious and sad from time to time..

 

currently stuck at 152 / 50... been doing prontera banquet on daily needs... pretty routine and it gets boring after 2 days doing the same thing...

tried to follow this guide but somehow grinding earlier is a lot more better because of the exp bonus from NCT n Bigbells..

party up and level in lighthalzen if you can. Spotlight plus exp event atm means 4x exp from lighthalzen mobs. The levelling speed should be pretty insane with a good party.

NCT is doable. Don't mob big. Hit and run.

hmm, i see.. will try then.. i really need to maxed out my char asap... none of mine are maxed and i already started making a new one...

 

yeah NCT is doable... finally got my hands on PDM n +8 Fotia Shield... managed to reach damage around 60k... i find 3x CC them is a lot more doable rather than 4x CC on Bigbells...

 

need to avoid huge mobs and... active ks-ers... theres this one RG and Ranger keep on ksing me.. even i was clearly CC-ing the mobs i'm dealing with as well as mobbing... pretty annoying...
