Hi all, I just became an RG and am looking to use ED to level.

 

I understand that Shield Ring's full benefits don't kick in until job 38 (for Inspiration 5). Until that point, is ED viable for leveling with two shield rings? I guess I'd have Sacrifice 5 and Pinpoint Attack 5 before too long.

 

If not, what's the best way to level (skill-wise) prior to job 38? Thanks!

no, not viable before then. I leveled up mine with Overbrand until I could use Earth Drive to its full potential.
