I have been looking online at some builds but I am a bit confused. There are a bunch of guides that state do NOT take the Double Attack skill when leveling. I am confused as to why this is - some people were saying it interferes with criticals. I did notice that as a thief (1 handed dagger) - it is causing crits even when double strike procs.

Am I misunderstanding something?

 

 

And if it makes a difference, I am playing on Ragnarok Transcendence.

For the most part those guides are out dated. Definitely go job50 and get double attack. Also you can't go GX on trans server only assassin.
