Its possible to we have 1 option enchantments on normal armor drops on the game? With that frenzy mechanic the game got much focused on frenzy drops, and all other armor acquired in the game becomes practically useless, like those acquired on MVP farm or maps like Kiel or Bio2. the case of weapons we already see normal monsters drop with 1 option. It would be interesting if we had that in armor too, while maintaining the special character of frenzy maps with 2 options.

 

Another question is: will something be done about the equipment currently dropped in Bio3, which is for the exclusive use of third classes? Considering that there are no plans to be included in the game, the staff is studying modifying the drop of this equipment, and replacing it with equipment that is "compatible", or even allowing use for Transclass, which could expand the gameplay in PVM?

 

I would love to know the position of the team on these matters. Thankful!

I'm really enjoying these updates about the maintence. At least we don't stay in the darkness. Pretty sure that everyone is liking those infos. Transparency isn't a bad thing.

Pls return npc in izlude where you claim volunteer points in next patch just like the leprechaun npc in payon. Some players have invested so much time in gaining points. We just didn’t have enough use for them during the event period. Thank you very much.

2. What happens to MvP drops? With Fever Field gear dropping gear with enchantments, many of the upcoming MvPs are not going to drop gear that is very worthwhile. Are you thinking of adding armor enchants to MvP drops (such as Valk Randgris)? Or is there something else being considered to make them worthwhile? Enchanted Shoes (or even Sandals) are better than Valk Shoes by a mile.

Hmm, I just do hope it wont make FF drops obsolete. 

 

Let's see what the GMs will do. 

 

If boss drops gets same enchants, FF drops will be garbage, coz everyone will want ofc the better boss drops enchanted armors, noone will farm FF dungeons any longer coz noone will buy it just like those no option gears.

Even if the boss drops get the same enchants (and I'm not saying they need to), you can get 1 valk shoe every 8 hours, while you can get a ton of shoes in that same timeframe. So the chances of good enchants on mvp gear will be extremely slim still, and most people will continue using FF drops since it will be way easier to get good enchants on them. This is simply for the chance of the jackpot and nothing else.

Well, we still need new headgears.. its been more than 6 months and the best headgear is still marionette doll. 

4 months since Tam[1] and chicken hat were tested in sakray. 

Just add a small quest + Magical Stone prerequisite to get them in game and prevent bot farming.

Well you using Valk as an example, what about other boss? They spawn faster.

As I have said before, there are boss not worth it, look at GTB as a very good example. 

 

Its just the way it is. 

 

For me, I just don't like the idea of people asking GMs to do things for their favor. So I highly oppose this.

Can you tell me the difference between the following 2 scenarios?
1. The difference between enchanted Diabolus Shoes and enchanted Shoes[1] (on this server)?

2. The difference between Diabolus Shoes[1] vs. Shoes[1] with no enchants (on a classic server)?

 

So if the difference between the gear would remain the same then what is breaking?

Why does this same argument keep popping up? Enchanted MvP gear will not make Frenzy gear obsolete. There is such a thing as a market for mid-high end gear that is not top tier gear. Even in Classic RO with no enchants, Diab/Valk shoes did not make shoes/boots completely useless. Best example is with those cards that needed +9 to work. The price difference between a +9 superior diab shoes and a +9 superior boots was so huge that +9 boots served as a popular "low budget" option.

 

Or a more sensible answer. +100 def Coats exist in the game right now. Why are +7x-8x Coats still selling at a decent price? A better option is clearly available, why doesn't everyone go for that? 2 reasons: 1) Price difference, and 2) How rare do +100 def Coats drop?

It's a lazy argument for people who refuse to participate in the difficult content and want the rewards from farming/botting on a lvl 75 knight to be the same (or better) than killing the hardest mvps with 10+ fully geared level 99's. 

 

As far as I'm aware this has not been addressed by the GM's. We will see as more high end MVP's get added to the server.... it would be comical to add the hardest mvp's in the game only for champion pitman to drop better gear.

People making silly arguements like what if a perfect diablo boot drops.

 

Yeah a boot that gives 990 more hp vs a shoe which already have high rolls, will make it useless /sarcasm

 

By that logic thats never add new content, chance of getting a good rolled MVP gear is quite low and if it does drop it is well deseved for the cost to kill it and organisation needed. People just want a free ride and afk kill orcs.

 

Where was all this crying when they added enchanted mufflers and shoes that made unenchanted ones not as valuable.
