Sword and Axe Mastery of Gene not Working

Hi! I'm not so sure if this is a bug or is something that is not totally working. I have been allotting some skill points on Sword Mastery and Axe Mastery of Gene but something does not add up. Kindly refer to my Images so see that it is not actually working. Or if not, what do i have to do in order to take the extra damage that the skills suppose to be giving.
 
I hope this should be fix because the skill is there for it to be use eitherway, they should have remove it if it is useless. I wouldn't mind of removing the skill point and put it somewhere else. But the point of this post is making the moderators see that it is not actually working.

So here is my basic atk without gears pr anything

So here are the test that i made why i did say it is not working
Transcendence skill
Axe Mastery (Which give bonus to both axe and sword class weapons)

3rd Job Skill
Sword Mastery

All images shows that skill are already in their max levels but is giving any bonus attack but only base attack coming from the basic sword and axe being tested.

Hope you cna help me on this!

mastery bonuses are not displayed on your stat window

Why is that so? It is quite confusing tho since in game description are explicitly defined as additional damages and atk. I do not get why they should not reflect on our stat window.

the stat window is not accurate to begin with, it's missing much much more than mastery bonuses

There's so much that the game needs fixed, and this is just from the standpoint of the UI. I'm sure the current client still uses DirectX 7 - they can't even update it to use something like DX9. Crossing my fingers that an update in the near future after the pandemic is dealt with will bring DirectX 9 or above support; this way, people with RX 5700s and RTX 2060s can actually play the game without downgrading their GPU (drivers).

Looks like there is more than meets the eye. I hope people who can do something about it are reading this. If this problem is solve, it could give way to other problems branched along the way.

Theres an UI update, but only for 4th jobs

But the the point of this post if to confirm the validity of the skills whether it actually works or not regardless if it is displayed on the stat window or not. Other players might consider investing some skill point on the skill but not really realizing if it reflects on their end.

One way you could actually test this out would be using the said weapon that receives the bonus from the skill while hitting monsters and then without the bonuses of the skill, that means resetting your skills at least once.

Actually you are right i could do that and see if it exceeds the upper limit based on the bonus that is expected, thanks! You are smart! :) 

But you fixing it still solves it all , sigh. HAHA

I'll post result soon!

they work, there's no doubt about that, wich is why no one commented on it. It's just a common occurrence that people don't know the alt+a window is not an accurate representation of your atk/matk values.
