get a survival manteau unslotted - its like 1mil. If you want to spend more get a +7 unslotted and they usually go for 10-15mil. Get a survivor Rod (dex I guess) that's at least +7. They go for 5-10mil usually. Ive seen some +9's for 10-20mil. Use the prontera shopping board and try to snipe them.
Next big purchase would be the survivors orb. I've seen plenty for 60-80mil, but they are usually snagged pretty quickly by either people needing them or buying them out and selling for 200mil+. Don't overpay for items as there are a lot of people taking advantage of the market system in this game.
Another easy purchase is type B armor. They cost about 18-20mil to make and are usually sold for 20-25mil. It's an extremely good budget platebody that is dirt cheap, and can be upgraded later with 2 MATK modules when you can refine it.
Refining things yourself also tends to be cheapr as long as you buy the items for a good price. I've made my own items, for example, a +9 survival manteau, buy buying an slotted one for 70mil, and spending 130-150mil upgrading it to +9. +9's on the market are usually 300-400mil. I've seen some for 250 but it's really rare. Refining is actually pretty simple. Just get it to the max safe refine (+4 or +5) and then use safe 7 certs along with regular orc/elu to get it to +7. Already it's a solid peace of gear. Upgrading to +9 requires enriched elu/orc + blacksmith blessing, so no need to worry about +9ing.
Other big purchases are magician gloves, not sure about the price of them but I saw a lot of them for 250-300mil. Definitely get this as it will help a lot with a huge damage increase (50% magic pen).
The only other things to get are potentially getting str to 72 and buying a perserve demon mask (usually 400-500mil) for 60% pen (have to get 72 str for the 100% pen even if its overshooting) which is cheaper than getting survivor shoes, which are usually 600-700mil+ for a +7 pair. Even if you buy a 600mil pair +7'ing is usually 30-50mil so yeah.
Leveling without good equips can be a challenge but it helps a lot to have a friend or just groups to go with. I personally had a priest with me that helped me level to 110. I got some help from some people that gave me a lot of info + loaned me gear and stuff but I have a bigger understanding on the game now.
I personally would just push through the grind and do the 17.1 illusion quest. It takes like 5-10 minutes to make 8mil a day which is insane for the time spent. Definitely worth doing. And yeah, the 16.1 dailies are decent too, like 5mil per hour. Could also make a looting character and go to low TI and just loot all day. I see plenty of people do it looting 32k books from evil druids to sell + cards. But no exp so thats a big downside. Once you get to 140 you can grind @ lasagna dungeon as they drop orc/elu/purple box/ygg's which is nice money as well.
So yeah, do your 16.1-16.2 and 17.1 quests, do the dailies, do your eden mission 1 hour dailies to get fast easy exp (it saves a lot of time and allows you to do other things, time efficient) and just level up. More instances open and more money making methods open with a higher level character.
And, if you REALLY wanted to, you could make a party of 12 (11 alts) and get them to 110 and do the 17.1 quests for 80-100mil+ a day. I see plenty of people do it.
But yeah. Hope I helped. As a warlock player that was in your shoes just a few weeks ago, I don't want you to be discouraged by the "play another class". That isn't how you make people play your game. A lot of players on this game just expect you to know things and don't understand that there can be many new/returning players after many years and that isn't how you greet them into the game. That kills the game.
