I used to be expend heavy on this server, but i quitted since i saw the disaster about the new GX boots and skills. Total disaster, it just killed the game for me.
Now i am feeling like i want to play RO again, but ill choose a private server, at least the guys there can try to balance things.

 

Why would WP nerf/balance Enforcer shoes when the majority was against it? xD

 

I used to spend a lot too but I probably spend only 1/10 of what I used to spend lol

I just started on a private server (the biggest one, you know the name) and i cant go back now, the difference not just in content but in the staff is insane. You can tell they have worked a lot and i know WP is tied to some abusive contract with Gravity about updates but come on, it cant be THAT different, its like another game.

Anyway i dont have the GX kill em all meta in there and i can play a balanced game where every class shine in its own way, here its just the Ragnarok GX edition.

How the actually hell did Chaos population drop from 3.5k at the end of 2018 (best event everrrrrr) to 700 in 2020 despite of iRO has been getting lots of updates!

Remember that we actually got lots of Thai players when official Thai RO closed and before that server population actually dropped to 700 rolf

You missed a lot of shenanigans that happened in SEA/Chinese community for RO, costing players from iRO as well. Bots drama (this includes ragial), RMT shops quiting, ROM SEA server draining SEA players, and so on. I don't recall everything happened but I can say the friends I used to play with in iRO are now scattered to ROM (in same guild and have WOE) or some MOBA/casual games. We still communicate in Discord and Whatsapp (for those in same country)..

Im not sure about RoM. I played it for 8 months and really got bored. Its literally AFK auto game. Well, I guess iRO aint different at this point. People AFK kevel in TIs and popular maps. I meant, RoM is totally P2W because to be truly competitive, you need to get biweekly 1% ATK and MATK. However why be truly competitive when RoM is almost a solo game as well. I dont think or even see it as a MMORPG.

And for Genshin, I watched my friend played on streaming. Its even worse than RoM.

But in the end, it comes down to perspective so yeah.

^EasyAntiCheat was the tipping point for the maintainers of ROPD/Ragial. They are unlikely to come back (although not impossible, bots are still around all 3 servers).

Why always are people who think nerfing enforcer shoes would solves all problems? The skill is not strong how you think. We are going to have futures updates where Cross impact, soul destroyer and Counter Slash would be better than that skill, and you know that. What's next? nerfing Oni Horns? 

In other hands, kRO solves that problems (Because in that server everyone make over 1m damage) with green aura in classic mvps. That's what this server needs because almost all job has a hard damage like 185/65 kRO.

Actually not many people want Enforcer shoes nerfed. However I'm one of them. Here is my perspectives. The skill is definitely OP. You can't deny that.

Thing is, you can't just refer or compare MA to future updates. We live in presence. MA is definitely broken right now for current contents that we have. Someone already mentioned it. MA right now is like you use a +15 Crimson to hit a poring in South prontera field.

I mean, sure kRO CI will be as OP or even more OP than our current MA but the keyword is "kRO". I think it makes sense to do 50m CI DPS on a 1b HP MvP. Back to iRO, 50m DPS on 5m-20m HP MvP. Do you think this makes sense?

Most importantly, MA is broke now not because of kRO updates, but it's because of a specific item. You can't just talk about the damage increase and ignore monster HP increase.

Green aura doesn't solve the issue. Well yes I get it. You think green aura is needed. If I played GX too, I would think the same. One hotkey deletes MvPs. But have you even stopped and thought about other classes?

It's really because of the marketing and how the ROM economy works specifically for SEA server. Why I'm playing iRO if I farmed 100m zeny and basically can buy nothing valuable. It's not the best game or everything, it's simply the game give what I want. I'm not in P2W/top rank players or anything so being top is not my reason to not playing iRO.

I spread the iRO hack news and my friends don't even care anymore. I asked the one who got ghostring and maya purple card when he's quitting iRO and he doesn't even care being hacked or not.. Well, this guy is richer in ROM with GTB card etc now so can't blame him...

That's the drama right there. Ragial can't get the technical support from other botters so they quit.

Ragial made RO so much better, but they decided to ban the good bots and keep the bad. It is what it is. Population heading back to sub 700 once a vaccine is available.
