That if you don't have VIP you need a 500kp marriage covenant to get married, while 10 days of VIP costs 250kps and also let you get married among a bunch of other stuff for 10 days?

Or you could just buy a marriage covenant from the NPC for 10m. Either option is better than the 500kp marriage covenant

No it's still there, but the covenant is 20m, it used to be like 1m, they just upped the price cause it was so cheap before

Still honestly better to buy the VIP box though, 20m for 1 character to get married vs 10 days of being able to marry as many chars on that account that you want + the other vip bonus' and it's only like 2x the price.
