New Episode 17.1 and Genetics Gear

Greetings.

 

With the new update, genetics finally got the weapon designated for CC. Getting it to +11 really helps and with proper chance, getting a ranged enchant would be good as well.

 

My question here is that, how about other EQ? Since Saphir-OS really outperform most of the old weapons, what about the rest?

 

Like Armor Type A itself, with 2xSharpshooter Modules would be great (assuming your armor is +9 and above) you'll get like, what...14% extra ranged damage?

 

+9 Armor Type A

-> 2x Sharpshooter Modules (+14% ranged atck)

-> +10% ASPD

-> +140 ATK (100 basic + 40 for +9 refined armor)

 

Would this damage addition having bigger impact on CC and Gene gameplay, or its better to just stick with the old Hero Trade Mail [1]?

 

Can someone clear this up because wanting to get a proper armor to my beloved gene..

How about +9 armor type A delay atk atk module instead?

+240 atk (each atk module add 50)
+10% atk
-15% delay for faster cc

those sure are interesting modules..

 

so rather than +14% ranged atck, having only 10% extra atck with addition of +240 atck would be more into consideration...

 

reason why i'm asking this is that Hero Trade Mail [1] arent that bad. with the additional STR and INT addition due to refined lvl, saying having +12 HTM would only provide extra 6 int and str respectively... doubt it would do any extra on CC damage calculation..

with the shadow class for gene also helps to insta cast cc, with that dresses is still a good option to roll CC. about 17.1 the fix cast time reduction on foot gear enchant is a big yes for AB, for CC temp ring+rm is a best one so far then whatever armor you want.

btw, managed to get my hands on +11 saphir os... finally... my damage managed to reach 70k with just noobish eq... pretty happy for it..

The accessories with range modules isn't bad for a beginner to mid tier option.

hey guys, just an update..

 

with a +11 illusion armor type A, my damages boosted about 5-8k without enchant (yes, clean armor)...

 

I do believe the armor did well as expected because with small budget, it provides enough damage without the need of relying on ocp items..

 

prob gonna try make a full episode 17.1 armor set just for damage testing purpose and budgeted eq suggestion...
