Hello i've been having constant crashes right now. Uninstalled and reinstalled the client and nothing crashing continues. No error message. I also pulled down the black bar at the bottom to confirm if the client is updated and its all xxxx-xxxx-xxxxx. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and the same xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.

 

I've had a crash earlier while just normally playing. Does EAC have problems with having other games in the background? I had path of exile running in the background. 

 

Edit: Also tried using appcrashview. The ragnarok crashes doesn't show up.

Most likely cause:

Even photoshop alone is enough to make eac freak out

Guys I really need help...
I have the same problem. My client has crashed 5+ times randomly, no error message, I don't know what the deal is.
I reinstalled twice, and I read this thread first, seeing most likely cause EAC having problems with games or applications in the background...

I closed my Minecraft game launcher program, booted RO, it crashed in under 3 minutes.

I have nothing else running, just steam, discord, chrome, and my oculus app.

Neither of those should affect RO, maybe the oculus app? I just closed it and I'm gonna try one more time, but I bet it's still going to keep crashing.. I have nothing else running so idk why EAC is doing this if that's the cause.

 

Edit: Yeah, I closed the oculus app, and it crashed again.. I can't play until this is solved I guess :/ I was sorta trying to return... also, I rebirthed my 99 knight in RO transcendence and leveled it to Lord Knight without crashing, so... this problem is just for chaos, i'm not sure why it's happening.

 

Edit days later: Well my client hasn't crashed in a couple hours, I changed the graphic setting in setup from Direct 3D HAL to RTX 2070 Super, that must've hopefully solved this problem.
