I love summons. When I heard of RO getting summons I was all hype. Didn't care how impossible sage is to level. I want summons.

 

BUT. I heard their summons suck. I heard they are absolute terrible horrible trash and you only use them to change your psychic wave type and nothing else.

 

Is this true? Is it impossible to make elemental spirits viable in combat even against nonmvp mobs? And is there no way to make them relevant vs the higher end mvps?

 

How about 4th jobs?

Aaaaaa i had the same hope for genetic homuns sadly they are just doomed useless slaves that give buffs no true summons. From the videos i seen of 4th jobs they just use whatever main skill the 3rd jobs used so i doubt any useful summons in 4th job either.
