2x Magician's Glove[1] + ??? Card? I know there are +20% element cards, but I don't want gear that I need to switch out for every spell I cast.

I think Immune Shield and Old Magic Stone hat can't be the dream gear because lots of MVPs break your helm and shield. So I think these slots have to be indestructible.

 

I thought about mistress card, but I don't know how good safety wall is for the endgame content. And the other skills will have their gemstone requirements removed soon.

Could you explain what kiel card does?

"Reduces the skill usage delay by 30%."

 

Does it mean it reduces cooldown by 30%? or after cast animation by 30%? or cast delay by 30%?

Yes warlocks dont have access to full chem protect thats why you make a genetic alt to give it to you. The 30% is cast delay it doesnt effect cool downs.

Just because he mentioned high soul expansion damage and spammable does not mean its the only skill use. its just that soul expansion and chain lightning benefit the most from all that cast delay reduction+gioia card.

Whats with the huge str investment? and

Aren't you supposed to have 94 vit for stun immunity? and

Are we sure that we won't get more damage from magician glove's -50% or -100% mdef bypass?

The huge str gives you 100% mdef bypass with PDM

 

You dont need pure stat can get that from total stat eg 94 vit vs 54+40. With the stats and gear Bearl Posted you end up with over 100 total vit.

 

PDM gives 100% mdef bypass with 126 str. Every 18 str=15% mdef bypass when you have PDM.

Thanks! That explains everything. I still don't think even with all that you can take out biolab mvps before they break your gear though. Glad to be proven wrong however.

Its definitely possible to kill biolab mvp as warlock. The ghost ones will explode with these kind of gear other ones you can comet or crimson rock and run till they die even without these uber gear.

After losing one too many gear to the refining NPC, I HATE the sight of the smith NPCs. And the thought of being forever reliant on them for all eternity makes me mad!!! At some point I want to never see them ever again!!!

 

That and I'd like to be independent from civilization. Why i'd want to grab mistress card if I have to use safety wall. From what I hear from you guys though, you don't need safety wall anymore? Useless against MVPs, and you offscreen AoE kill everything right? And here I thought the only way to kill MVPs was to cast a spell before reviving yourself with token of siegfried.

You mean the class that needs you to grind 10 hours of materials for 10minutes of playtime and must always be beholden to them alchemy ingredient npcs? Nah.

Genetic. You need to farm for his materials for his skills and its one of the biggest pains in the ass in the game.

Sura is probably best suited for my playstyle but I like meteors more than my fists so I go warlock.

I did. Turned into a tiger knuckle spam. But I don't like melee, I like meteors, so I'm giving warlock a try.
