I was excited by the idea of them, up until I found out that the Paste eaters behind our server decided to opt for an equipment attack bonus instead of weapon attack (wtf is even the point of that? If its good enough for the Koreans and Japanese why change the script?) 

 

Should I even bother hunting for them? Or would I be better off investing my Upgrade resources in other gear?

The Staff for my Sorc and Two Daggers for my GX, maybe a couple of other weapons but those are bridges ill cross when i get to them, i just returned to the game

So, crimson weapon should more weapon attack bonus than equipment attack bonus?

Well, i think is normal in this server. Updates here are not complete always, there are lot of missing content (Excelion set, etc). The "updates" in the server are the OCP gears lol

They are not supposed to be weapon ATK, they give eATK everywhere else. The video you watched is incorrect

Munbalance regularly gets things wrong; and while I appreciate the effort he puts into his videos, he is not a singular source of truth. That video is also pertaining to a pserver with mechanics that aren't equal to kRO/official. 

 

As is, Crimson weapons' atk bonus is affected by abysmal/white knight/hydra/etc. 

 

"paste eaters"... he should look in the mirror.
