Is there an NPC I have to talk to in Kazeura Village? I've been trying to find who to talk to, but I'm not having much luck. The wiki doesn't help either and it's incomplete. Does any know?

What is the last quest you did for your level 40 jobchange?

It was the one where I need to defeat Onyx Leather in the Mining Area, which was the last one for the job change questline. After that, I thought I would become a Mirage. However, it seems like I have to see an NPC to do the job change, but my journal doesn't show the purple dragon symbol to do it. Am I supposed to clear all of the hero quests and not just the 2 specter tower questlines? I still have dangerous cavern hero quests at the moment, so I'm guessing completing those as well as a few others will unlock the last one?

And for technical context, I completed it just by clicking the complete button in the quest list after I defeated it.

You need to complete all red hero quests starting from Lv. 19 except of the hero quests for Black Claw Nest, Temple of Water and Galaxy Content to make progress in game nowadays.

For the Lv. 40 jobchange you additionally have to kill Lavalon after you completed Valid Raeth F5.
