***UPDATE*** Please know this event effects both Warpportal and Game Accounts. Updates have been made to our announcements to clarify this matter.
 
 
Its the most wonderful time of the year! The best time to change your password for extra security on your Warpportal and game accounts! 
 
We want all our players to have the safest, most secure Warpportal accounts, so we are asking everyone to update your passwords! Those who change their password for their Warpportal and game accounts between December 14th - January 4th will receive a reward for that game! See the list below for the rewards you can earn!
 
*Please note that for added security, we are automatically updating any password for accounts that haven't logged in since October 14th, 2020. In addition, any accounts that have not changed their password during this event will have their password automatically updated on January 5th, 2021.  If your account password has changed, please use the 'Forgot Password' option to update your password.

RIP on this :o some of my game accounts have a Faulty WP Account that i can't even log in to top up for WPE, and mostly some of them i only used to Abide for the migration Process from pRO to iRO since u can only accommodate 3 game accounts per WP accounts some player's including me have to make multiple Emails to make multiple WP accounts so we can transfer servers.

 

so now if you change our passwords automatically how can we access our account's wherein we already forgotten or don't even have access to the said WP accounts. :unsure:

 

tho years ago i already applied for Email recovery on those accounts i forgotten , but they want me to give those info that i already forgotten in the first place. :rolleyes:

 

i understand as a player that you want to implement this for our own Account's Safety, but it would be a lot of help if you reconsider on that automatic change password on those accounts that won't be able to participate on this change password event of yours, since how can we change our pass if we can't access WP accounts

Just to clarify, if i have game account for [Ragnarok Online ] and [Ragnarok Online 2] . I just need to change each of those game's passwords and I can leave my WarpPortal account's password the same?

 

Also...what to do if we don't remember our WarpPortal account info or we can't access the email we used for it?

Just to clarify, if i have game account for [Ragnarok Online ] and [Ragnarok Online 2] . I just need to change each of those game's passwords and I can leave my WarpPortal account's password the same?

 

Also...what to do if we don't remember our WarpPortal account info or we can't access the email we used for it?

 

You will want to change your Warpportal account password, as well as your password on both your Ragnarok Online, and Ragnarok Online 2 game accounts. 

 

If you don't remember the email you used for your Warpportal account, you will need to contact our support team at https://support.warpportal.com, where they will ask you some questions to be sure it is your account before helping you with your email recovery.

i have a question.

 

i have multiple accounts with multiple emails. i have 2 accounts that are from a long time ago and i don't have access to cause we don't use their stuff anymore (AOL - America Online).

how will i recover those 2 accounts if i used that email?

I've been on the road for two months since Thanksgiving and honestly WarpPortal's nonsense is the least of my priorities especially during a pandemic and holiday season.

 

I've attempted to login to my accounts through https://www.warpportal.com and receive this error:

"Password has not been changed for too long (more than 90 days). (Reset through forgot password)"

 

 Tried "Forgot password" and get the following error:

"*To retrieve a game account password, you must login to your WarpPortal account first."

 

I've got maybe a dozen accounts I need assistance with.

Send a ticket, same happened to me. They are going to ask you to fax (yeah, fax!) your Legal ID, and then they can change your email on your WP account. I'm still waiting for an answer, fingers crossed... 

 

I've been on the road for two months since Thanksgiving and honestly WarpPortal's nonsense is the least of my priorities especially during a pandemic and holiday season.

 

I've attempted to login to my accounts through https://www.warpportal.com and receive this error:

If we sent in an email change ticket to be able to change our passwords within the deadline but failed because the GMs handling our ticket are unresponsive till kingdom come, will we not be given consideration for the promised reward even tho the fault is from the GMs' side?

Just to make this even better if you email does include any kind of symbols next to the 'at sign' the website doesn't allow you to log in. example 'test123-@example.com' marks it as invalid, and the recovery password system is not able to send the mail (It doesn't mark it as invalid, but directly doesn't send it to the email).

And only because I already saying things, the only way to recover or change a mail is via sending a Fax mail, such thing is not common anymore in my city, plus being in a pandemic status makes even harder to find a place where I can mail a fax.

Apparently, WP is bent on further cutting down their already dwindling playerbase by discouraging active players thru crappy implementation of shenanigans like this one coupled with an even more crappy support system--their support ticket handling is just unbearable.

i think lots of people were buying stuff so gravity had to do something to stop the players from buying so they are doing this.

I have at least 24 account, each of them have e-mail which sadly I can't access anymore cause of long time un-use. I still have a record of all the e-mail account. and as for my warp portal account, I also have a record of it. But I can't change the password because as I've said, can't access them anymore because I haven't use them from a very long time. even the phone number I've used are no longer with me cause I've changed my provider.

 

It's kinda sad cause all of my account are manual level-up and they were migrated from the pRo to iRO. started playing the game 2003 and up to now still playing it because of all the account I was able to migrate.

 

Can I ask how can I activate all this account without going thru my e-mail which are mostly de-activated alredy?

You will need to change your emails for these accounts to active emails you have access to via the support team in order to change the passwords for these accounts.

You will need to send in a ticket to our support team to have them help you resolve this issue. this said "wrong password" 

but dont show me nothing more, just the background, no a single button to upgrade my pass....

and i change to a new pass....but nothing change, please help

i hate when this site force me to make a password change, the first time, because of that i lost my first account access by 12 years. and i really don't want change the password of my accounts because this site every time makes fails like that i mention.

 

Some method for not force users to change password ?
