Hello Everyone!

 

Sorry for the lateness to this post. I lost track of time working on a bunch of documentation for future content. This week this is what is happening on iRO

 

1. Password Reset Inquires

If you are having trouble resolving your account access inquires by the ticket system through normal means, first ask if there is an alternate way of verifying your user information. We understand that in this day and age, users may not always have access to Fax machines. If your issue continues further, please PM https://forums.warpp...47949-cmmayari/ . She will bring up your case and help us figure out a way to address your unique circumstances.

 

1-22-2021 Update: We're having internal discussions on how to handle cases where a fax is not viable or desired by the users. Your feedback has been heard on this topic.

1-29-2021 Update: There is now an alternative method for verifying accounts. The GMs should only be requiring faxes going forward in cases where accounts are disputed by two people. Please make sure to PM CM Mayari if you continue to have issues.

 

We will keep this message in our post until the tickets have died down.

 

2. Future Events

Currently, we are working on receiving the year of the Ox Chinese New Year Event. Likely, this is going to arrive at the beginning of February. Shortly after that will be the Valentines Day Event.

 

1-22-2021 Update: The CNY event data has been delivered and is currently being parsed.

1-29-2021 Update: The CNY Data is now translated were moving into the test server phase for this event. The event is now scheduled to start on 2/11

2-05-2021 Update: The CNY event is currently in testing.

 

Based on your feedback we have submitted proposals to run both a Janeway and Monster token event. In addition we are planning on updating the Daily Login late in the month/early next month. Please note that all three of these events are likely to change format from previous implementations of these events. In particular Janeway will be more limited. We will share better details as they are finalized.

3. Lag and Disconnection Reports

We have been seeing a large uptick in random lag and disconnection reports centered around 8-10AM Pacific Time. If you are experiencing these issues, please report them every time so we can continue to forward them to the IT team. 

 

4. Future Updates

We will continue to meet with the studio regarding upcoming updates. Currently the estimated time frame of April has not changed for our next content update. Internally we are still hammering away at documenting bug reports and fixing what we can while pushing the rest to the studio.

just revert janeway back to 99/50 max 2nd job, maybe trans 1st job j50. i thought allowing janeway for trans characters to 99/70 is overkill. ofc, it would be nice to keep it that way.

i see that, it'll be ideal for warpportal to introduce VIP exclusive event for 
both Janeway / Monster Token. to drive the sales revenue.

since these event are not of the same nature as Share event where it's used as advertising and attract new player

nobody will know about your Janeway / Monster Token and thus join IRO anyway.

the main thing janeway needs it to give rewards that serve as a stepping stone in their progression, and not just bump your levels and leave you unprepared to where you're at.


The level it ends up getting you to is mostly unimportant, but if it remains being just instant leveling and nothing else it is nothing but a tool for estabilished players to create countless alt characters.

Dude, the exp rates tables will change with the new Max lvl, so, it will be more easier than before leveling. Considering we have Turn in and stuff i think is a very bad joke.

 

 

 

@Camp, I sugest to implement the potion that nullify all the reflect effects for 30 seconds, in order to end OGH solo with other mele jobs like Crit or melee RKs, etc.

please make Deviling,Ghostring,Maya Purple Card tradable it doesn't make sense because most of the new MVP card is tradable and i am from Thor Deviling Card is only 20m zeny.

it will not further kill the economy bringing to the two event, hope you consider my advices

if they have an account and it 2+ years old then it's already been abuse by the abuser, the last Jumping Janeway was way back 2019 2+ years ago you should get the logic immediately.

i dont buy stuff from other if they are not OCP or keys item and i only farm everyday, i dont know if i am lucky or not buy every week i got rare mini boss card, i dont hoard it's just i have so many Mini boss card because of MCA and OCA.

Just get the logic Deviling Card,Ghostring and Maya Purple in thor is 20m only, in that prize it's still very hard to sell 

also forgot to add it's should be vendable at least if not tradable.

all my slot in my account and my friend account is full already from my old server and all 3rd job max, and i stop playing Ragnarok after the merge of 2016 and start playing late 2019 , you should get the logic if you are smart enough instead if accusing me of something you are the one who are doing it, Remember thor didn't cause the problem.

Camp, you dont want MvP cards in Gacha because it can't devalue hard earned MvPs (forget about all the money WP could make), but you dont seem to mind bringing Janeway, so people can make alts to spam ET for MvP cards. I don't think Janeway should even come back but at this point, whatever you think is best tbh lol

Before anyone accuses me of having abuse Janeway and now I don't want it. Screw you, for 10 years of playing, I still only have one WP account and two game accounts only. One main account for RGs and one alt account for FCP slave during WoE hahaha

New players are not welcome to experience/enjoy the events? Y you bully me

so, i can abuse the event because i have 10 accounts with more than 2 years of existences but  new players are not welcome for that porpuses. That really sucks. An after i can abuse the chars for other events like free Enriched elu/Ori with santa and stuff haha

in thor new player are being help by old player until they can solo and help other new or returning player, i don't know about the culture of Chaos maybe they ask about the info of other player so they can hack it

Camp instead of asking the studio for the tweaked versions of Janeway event it would be best to ask the studio for the Booster Event instead where the player will be provided with a 1/1 high novice per account/ID and as it reward booster coins as player level up which can be exchanged for consumables/equipment which I believed are more enticing to attract new/old player. And part of the booster event it will gives access to the player a free shadow equip set that can do up to 70% defense penetration which is useful to low budget/new player as they progress in game. Janeway event basically in my opinion is just a lazy way for the old player to create alt and abuse it for the ingame event reward that can be reap by having lots of alt. Besides it was the studio who suggest the Booster Event to replace the Janeway IIRC.

Doesn't matter if it's Thor or Chaos, it's the same. Making it exclusively for 2+ years old account means new player cannot experience/enjoy the event.

A boost in exp is nice but the I would prefer the Promotion Booster Event like in kRO like mentioned in my previous post. Freebie shadow gear set and 17.1 equipment were part of the of the event which IMO kind of attractive for new player with no capital to start in an old server like Chaos/Thor.
