Good Evening Folks,

 

 

Today's post is going to be even more informal than normal. Currently everyone is out due to the Lunar Holiday. I have been popping in and out all day to fix any fires that started. I will continue to do so all weekend until were back to normal schedule on Tuesday. Below is my quick event guide I made while testing the event today.

 

We implemented two different events this week.

 

1. Octopus Festival CNY of the Ox

• Main Quest Required Level 20
• Start Malangdo 161 139, Octopus Festival Staff
• Step 1 Talk to the Festival Staff
• Step 2 Talk to Roin to see his blessing.of the festival
• Step 3 Talk to the Festival Staff and listen to Warnut's story
• Step 4 Find Warnut again at 241 198 then following him to Prontera
• Step 5 Talk to Warnut at prontera 130 42
• Step 6 Talk to Warnut at payon 216 106
• Step 7 Return to Rion in Malangdo 164 139. On the way kill 10 Cheap Rats
• Step 8 Rion will award a random item, 1 Silky Fur, and 5 Warnut Chocoball when the kill quest is turned in.
• Step 9 Wait 20 hrs then talking to Rion can cause step 7 to repeat again for repeat rewards.

 

• Side Quest Required Level 20
• Start Payon 220 112 Hyul's Korean Fried Chicken Shop
• Step 1 Talk to Hyul
• Step 2 Talk to Hyul again and he notices you.
• Step 3 Use Hyul Cauldron to make soup.
  • Hunt 5 Octopus Legs
  • Hunt 2 Pecopeco Legs
  • Gather 5 Fresh Octopus Legs from Octopus Legs
  • Gather 2 Rice Cake Bars from Giant Octopus and Octopus Legs
• Step 4 Return to Hyul with the Soup
• Step 5 Follow Hyul to Alberta 103 74, Receive Hanbok Bag from the Elderly man
• Step 6 Return to Hyul in Payon
• Step 7 Use the Cauldron to make another soup
• Step 8 Give the Soup to Hyul then follow him to Prontera 101 323
• Step 9 Receive Hanbok Bag and Questitem from Elderly man
• Step 10 Return to Hyul in Payon
• Step 11 Use the Cauldron to make another soup
• Step 12 Give the Soup to Hyul then follow him to Geffen 114 176
• Step 13 Receive Hanbok Bag and Questitem from Elderly man
• Step 14 Return to Hyul in Payon
• Step 15 Use the Cauldron to make another soup
• Step 16 Give the Soup to Hyul then follow him to Aldebaran 97 128
• Step 17 Receive Hanbok Bag and Questitem from Elderly man
• Step 18 Return to Hyul in Payon
• Step 19 Use the Cauldron to make another soup
• Step 20 Give the Soup to Hyul then follow him to Payon 228 151
• Step 21 Receive Hanbok Bag and Questitem from Elderly man
• Thus unlocks a repeatable quest for a random reward item and Hanbok bags.

2. Sweets Festival

• Main Quest Required Level 30
• Start Charles Prontera 163 98, 
• Step 1 Talk to Charles
• Step 2 Gather 20 Stolen Cocao Beans off Sweet Drops
• Step 3 Return Beans to Charles
• This step unlocks repeatable quests to gather Festival Coins. These coins can be turned into Sweet Shop npcs for various consumables and costumes.

 

 

Next week were going to do a huge clean up pass on this event and extend it by a week for those who are confused by the.. very rough translations.

Did you not specify the other quest for sweets festival event? There are one in north prontera, south morroc, and geffen

Can you tell use what both unknown items are? 1 you said was some consumable to heal that wasn't working, no idea what the other one was though. One is from the rats, the other comes from ink ball and the lucky bag.

Cauldron has a 1day cool down?

Is that intended?
It takes forever to even complete the quest.

Plus, what's the reward list ?

Really? For me, every Sweets Drop I kill always drops 2 Stolen Cocoas. I have VIP but are not using gums or anything of the like. I feel like the Cheap Rats are the ones with the low drop rates :x

Hello camp would like to request about the octopus event, can you just put timer instead on squid other than the 2021 amount? cuz so many players and it only stayed for a few mins. and boom its already gone no chance to get some, also the waiting and donating to make 2021 already kills lol, give chance to newcomers like us to enjoy the event

Yes that is what it says in the description of the item, however it is currently only giving the +9Luk it is not giving the +50 atk/matk

i can confirm, the amount is not just 2021 each time it activates.

 

i collected 2400pc on my own already, that Octopus leg still standing stronk

The remaining vets are parking lots of alts there. Maybe 10 or 20 or maybe 30. I remember when population was 3kish, it took quite couple hours before enough people donated. I can't imagine e now with 1kish population, its gonna take spoon long because most people don't donate but only park alts ready to collect the donuts lol

Most iRO folks probably won't survive. Like how most weebs eish they lived in Japan but they probably wouldn't survive there. Cultures too different.
