hello people, I've been playing RO for about 10 years. I have been dreaming of a new server not a transcendence but a server closer to the Kro without "ocp" items. Only visuals and shadow items, with the server store being a refining ticket and shadow item enchantment stones. I believe it is just an illusion as it has several "private" servers that have this proposal, but I dream of an official server having this, without "ocp" items or overpowers. This is a topic to say your opinions and who knows gravity and warpportal do not consider this idea of ​​bringing a wonderful server without overpowering items of ocp and "cash" only with visuals and shadow items refining ticket and etc ... things of the genre to generate income and maybe to revive this incredible server that was once great. if this outburst is in the wrong place you can just close or move sorry for the inconvenience and I hope that the people who read it will be able to express their opinions calmly and cordially

ppl that think they want this would stop playing for the same reasons they stopped on any other iro server

Iro is already basically "breathing through devices" if warp portal managers don’t think of a way to innovate by bringing new content or something close to kro. I'm not saying even in terms of content 4th class etc. And also in terms of having an anti bot system that works a better way to make money without being through ocp and cash items that literally "kill" a content item. the iro will soon close its doors unless those who still play pay rivers and rivers of money to make up for the drop of more than 3k players for what they play today? last time i played there were 700 online and if you think about those 700 there were 500 merchant stores that i just "kicked" numbers. Our beloved Ragnarok is heading towards an end to the official servers. and in the end the way will be to get a way to play Kro if you want to play an official server that is worth your time. At least this is my opinion.

the game has been on this "if they dont do something it's gonna die soon" state for the last decade+

for some reason there's this illusion that kRO's cash shop model isnt just as broken as the one we have, that it doesn't have stuff that multiplies characters power tenfold or more, it does. RO is a pc gacha

Do you think current Chaos players play iRO because it’s fun or because people have invested a lot already? Hope this answers why opening a new server won’t work. Not to mention, most iRO players are pretty stingy hahaha, so even if WP opened a new server, updates would come very slow. I thought other official servers all had overpowered items but they are just rare or hard to obtain /hmm

Also, hmm don’t know when our next merge is to jump population to 3k. After all, people do leave. All WP servers are literally low on numbers lol

My prefer about playing RO isn't big number but how you play than straight forward RPG game.

 

Also new patch map rarely bot able anyway. but isn't that iRO lacking?

basically i believe that the people do not leave nor want another server also because many have already put as i said rivers of money. even if gravity closes all ragnarok's private servers i believe that what will happen is at least 70% of ragnarok's population (which is not small) simply stop playing or keep opening servers behind servers without stopping. yes i believe that the cash shop of the kro servers do have "appealing cash" items but they are all basically stone of enchantments of shadow items and the shadow items themselves. especially if I'm not mistaken the baphomet server doesn't have any "ocp" items. even because these "ocp" items are basically killers of content items. for example you will never prefer to wear a mid hat like a victorious wings than a gambler or sera or even the sun + mob scarf. why no existing item from the game itself is at least as close to being "broken" as these. I do believe that the warp portal should at least do a "test" of at least one vote on a new renewal server that even the chaos is without ocp items and selling only visuals and shadow items / shadow enchantment stones. and see in the publication whether on facebook or here on the forum and see what people think. those who have already invested 30 40 50k $ in the game would probably even advertise against it, but those who play just for fun and like the game I highly doubt that they would prefer items through "ocp" and "broken" items yet. than the content items of the game itself which is the case with Kro.

There is not a single reason for a new server, WP should just merge ROT into Chaos and be done with it. Chaos isn't that bad all things considered (basically compared to ROT and any other new server they might create once the hype is gone) and if WP finally gave it the care it needs ppl would probably prefer it over private servers.

OCPs are fine for servers. After all servers need to make money somehow. The problem is, some OCPs are ridiculously OP and they should of not been easy to come by. Its unfortunate that Kachue keys came too late. Imagine Abyss dress or Shield ring or Enforcer shoes were SSS items in Kachue keys. There would be only few of them and people would still play in a party, greatly preventing item saturation in market. Hmm, kRO's ThaiRO just received Red Baby Dragon. What did kRO do right? They made sure it is hard to get it and even if you get it, it is a nerfed version compared to the one in iRO. This is to make sure that not everyone including their moms and dad one hit delete in AoE in PvM. However I believe that Camp knew if he made rates super hard, most iRO players would quit lol. It is a lose lose situation for Camp because giving easy rates, most people are so brokenly OP and quit anyway hahaha
