I'm thinking of stacking damage Boss damage/ Mid-Size/Natural/Elemental damage reduction so go in Bio 5

apart from some old school knowledge, I know like Deviant Etran's, Alice shield, Kafra Blossom.

anything one can share what other new/special items I can choose? thank you

+10 Etran's (Deviling) - 50% Neutral resist

+9 Imuke Upper Shield (Alice or Khalitzburg Knight with WK combo) - 35% Ranged resist, 40% Boss Dmg resist or 30% Medium/Large resist

+8 Siegfried's Helm - 20% Boss Dmg resist

Mob Set - 2-6% Demi-Human resist

Ring of Jupiter - 3% Human resist with 125 vit as well as a lot of def/mdef

Angry Snowier & Ice Titan combo - 20% Medium resist

Kafra Blossom - 10% Elemental resist (although I'd argue Errende Ebecee is generally more useful in Bio5 if you are using Angry Snowier combo and only have one accessory slot available)

There is also stuff like Palace Guard Cap and 3D Glasses that add neutral resist, but these aren't really worth considering for Bio 5.

What of these you should use is highly dependent on what class you plan on going in Bio 5 with.

was trying RK but RK cannot handle Holy/Shadow, looks like no so good

then thinking of Arm Cannon, and with the Splash Cat hat, it reduce 20% boss physical damage, 20% cdr, and 50 Def per refine, looks pretty tanky,

DB RK can do Bio 5, it's just a pain since as DB so much of your gear is locked in and can't be changed without sacrificing a huge chunk of damage. You also have to pick and choose your battles, or make a complete secondary set of gear for Crit or HS for the mobs immune to water AND fire (i.e. Margaretha and Randel).

At the moment GX probably has the easiest time there solo until (if) they nerf enforcer shoes. I haven't tried Bio 5 as a mech, so I dunno how good they are, but I can tell you I barely ever see one farming there. It's mostly RGs, GXs, or Genes.

How is Genes’s advantage in bio5? I saw some video have good damage but there was before, as gene is nerf recently, correct?
