Bug or Error in Ragnarok with steam

Hello, along with greeting you cordially ... I have come to expose some problems with the steam platform and I hope you could help me.

 

I have error with connecting to the server several times, and reinstalled the ragnarok client many times thinking that it could be that, but it is not like that. To be able to relocate when disconnected from the server I have to close the complete game and reopen it, because I don't remember the password with which I registered in steam and with ragnarok, I also do not remember the username with which I registered at that moment, So my only way to reconnect when it fails to connect to the server is to close the game completely, open it, wait for it to throw the error, to close and then reconnect, if it does not give me an error connecting to the server.

 

I thought it could be where I live in Chile (South America) but I have friends and they don't have those problems since they play directly from the warpportal client and not from steam ... which I would like to be able to migrate my account to the warpportal one ... but since I do not have the email with which I register and the user ... I only have to connect through steam ... you could help me so that I can play well without closing the client every so often for the fails to connect to server?

 

I would appreciate it very much with all my heart.

Do you know your Steam account's E-mail address? And do you have access to that E-mail address?

 

Your Steam account's E-mail address is also your WarpPortal account's E-mail address. You can reset your WarpPortal account's password at

Your Steam account's E-mail address is also your WarpPortal account's E-mail address. You can reset your WarpPortal account's password at

Years ago I changed my steam email because I did not have access to my old email, in fact it is several years ago, I do not have how to reset or anything, I do not have the username and pass with which I register, that's why my only way to access and playing my characters is by steam to connect automatically.

Try to submit a ticket at support.warpportal.com. Ask if they can change the E-mail address of your WarpPortal account, or to transfer your characters to a different WarpPortal account.

 

The GMs will ask you to verify your identity, usually by providing personal information attached to your WarpPortal account. Because your account was created through Steam, the only personal information it would have is your old E-mail address and the birth date you entered for your Steam account.

 

Otherwise, you will need to create a new WarpPortal account and create new characters. You can trade most items from your current characters to the new account's characters.

The problem is that it asks me for my identification card and that I send it by fax or efax xD, literally it is impossible for me (apart from the high cost that it would mean to send that), and besides there is no fax or efax in my country, nor in the cyber cafe ... then we just have to hope they fix the issue of steam glitches since a lot of people play it out there and have a lot of problems with ragnarok and steam :(

Hello! Due to feedback about fax/efax being too difficult for many players, the GM team has come up with alternative ways for verification the past few months. Please don't hesitate to reach out to the support team and they will speak to you to figure out the easiest alternative.  :) Thank you!

Thank you very much, one question, do you know how I can do so that I do not disconnect from the server so often? my country is from Chile or will it be my isp problem?

No problem! It's probably an ISP problem, but it wouldn't hurt to mention it in your ticket as well to see if they can look into it and suggest any solutions.  :)
