MVPs have always been free-for-all. I don't know why anyone's complaining about KSing. You can't monopolize part of the map to poke at one unbothered.

Wanting an instanced version is one thing, but KSing is literally something that does not exist, and never has existed, in regards to MVPs.

its just common courtesy to not mess with others' mvps, but they are ffa. It is to be expected that shltheads will behave like that during launch day before the heat settles down

IMO that's fine and totally understandable for regular MVPs where the respawns are long and there's no time limit to stand there and wait. But when you're on a time limit, especially if you're paying for entry (double especially once this becomes a premium entry via cash shop in future implementations), the rules have to be different. People can't be expected to just stand around and wait or waste time wandering until they find something unattended by other players. There's no way around it when everyone's biggest enemy is the allotted entry time. The only way to fix the competition level is to either make it instanced or remove the time limit, and "KSing" is inevitable if one of those things don't change. Just like no one wants to be outdamaged on an MVP they're fighting, no one wants to waste half their entry time not fighting anything at all either.

the only thing that could have been better, is not having those flower account/chara bound
so party member can be "paid" for their effort

takes 10 flowers to get a turn in.  You can't see who gets the flowers as the item tracker doesn't track it in the chat so who gets it is anybody's guess.  Ontop of that even if someone in your party did collect 10.  Now it's 1 chance at an MVP and the person rolling the dice at the turn in doesn't have any announcement so it's a good faith basis system if they were to say they got something like MoT or GTB or whatever.  They could just say they got mini boss card.  After all that is said and done then it would come down to the people running that party to actually care enough to want to share the loot with the other people in the party otherwise the flower collector just keeps the card.

 

So no, it doesn't seem too likely that support or people in random party's will get much of any reward outside frantically trying to grab flowers for themselves or greed away others from people.  There is a ton of things wrong with this.   But everything is perfectly right with this if you are self invested and you have incredible gears and can take advantage (IE you are rich with rich gears taking flowers to get MVP cards that will therefore make you more rich).

In the case where a flower hits the ground, lets say the MVP with or without party goes down and dies or releases etc.  The flower in theory becomes FFA after the loot restriction window finishes on the timing of the item on the floor.  This happens more often than not when a Bio MVP randomly drops onto a boss that's dying or someone ends up mob training a few other MVPs in.  This is the chaotic part as if you did manage to land the kill and for some reason it doesn't go right to your inventory or the MVP died so it hits the floor, people are going to spam click/greed it for sure.  If you don't get it there isn't anything you can do it about it either even if you did get the MVP because of how over all loot rules are by game standard.  Which there has already been long battles on people contributing help and party members having to agree to loot rules prior etc.  Even then you have absolutely zero recourse if someone decides to screw you over.

 

So it's not exactly flawless or anything.  It just adds to the chaos.  It definitely pushes things away from the honor system and the idea of playing with a party when most people wouldn't even trust guild mates etc.  I find it hilarious to sit there and see people complaining about turning in 20 or 30 flowers and getting mini boss cards and being pissed about it when they are the ones benefitting the most from this.

 

And a ton of other people defending GX imbalance are basically saying "Get Good and play GX". Which is subjectively the answer at this point for an event like this.  There are things other classes can do and instances etc that are much easier to farm on classes other than GX.  But something like this is definitely designed for the highest powered and imbalanced classes.  Double dagger crit/MoT with an LK card on a GX can destroy anything in floor 1 but that's impractical.  But for the person who has them is probably holding the most flowers on the server to be honest.  Could say this is fair or could say otherwise.  If this event becomes more permanent it WILL impact the game and economy for sure.

 

Time will tell I guess.

To warpportal team, good job on further proving the imbalance of GX through this event. Those non-GX players are paying for your stupidly awful decisions, and your incapability on your terribly -_-y “game balance”.

Also my two-cent feedback, you can rebrand this game to be “legends of GX” instead of calling it “ragnarok online”.

Why do you think peeps with rg, wl, gx and ab going on to solo?
 

The whole event is such poorly designed, which promotes selfish grabbing of flowers for yourself!

It is a joke.

Firstly, the flowers doesnt go inside inventory for all party members, like the rudus dolor quest

Secondly, the flowers arent tradable... whats the point of party?

 

The whole design of the event doesn't value party play 

Do you think if every member of the party get their personal flower at all the same time, these soloer would have solo-ed? who likes burning resources?

On top of that to properly solo, only FEW very very rich players, can farm it fast, i already know some peeps with 70+ flowers on the frist day

In a nutshell, this event is designed to make already Super rich individuals richer
