Do all the items just come from these booster boxes?

 

Are you able to go an expanded class and still be able to use the Booster Boxes?

 

Most of the gear is character locked looks like, is there anything that isn't?

 

The changelog has a currency-type item for the Booster even, how do you get this and what is it for?


We don't have a thread for the event so figured I'd start a discussion.

 

 

Also what in the gods holy world is that shadow set, if that is character locked too, us poor(er) players just have to stare at our one character with the free defense bypass and not be able to use it on anything else?

1. Only the goal box is random.
2. Boxes are level locked. You can do any class but keep in mind certain classes cannot reach the 175 goal. The booster event itself does not support expanded class job change.
3. Most items will be bound there are a couple that arent.
4. This is for the next incarnation of the event and won't be active this year.

if you have an old account that have a lot of OCP gear specially CVD dont do booster event, the only thing you can do is to promote IRO and tell them we have booster event gear

having experienced and looked this is pretty much same with other official server booster event i play, its permanent.

Is the Shadow Set character locked or Account locked?
I ask because that set seems really strong for free equipment only for it not be shareable between characters.

you need to get the lvl req to open the boxes during the event period, you get to open a box every 15 lvs basically until lvl 175 after the event any unopened boxes will be useless.

I tried on the Metal Equipment and it went to +6. Maybe it's because I made the mistake of refining it to +5 before using the ticket?

What does Camp mean when he said, "The booster event itself does not support expanded class job change" ?

 

I did see at the Booster webpage that we "cannot select Extended job group and Doram race", yet I saw Gunslingers with the booster gears (I'm assuming that's what the red backpack and bunny hat are).

 

Does this mean we CAN opt for the extended jobs for the booster event?

 

And what about Dorams? Is it true they can't be used for the booster event at all?

you can create the booster char, change the job manually with Job change quest. The Booster box can be open without restriction (only base level).

Is it possible to delete the booster char and then apply for a new one in the same account? I regret choosing the job for my booster char
