I really enjoy the entire booster event. Thank you for implementing it!

For this booster event can we pleasssssee make the boxes permanent? My character is only 109… Or at least give us another month? I really want the shadow set T_T

My comments for future events are

1. Please bring back the booster event more often! This is so helpful for new players to start a new character

2. Please give the high level characters exp bonus too. Currently the steam ring only gives bonus exp till 100. I think it should go all the way to 175 or 150. 100 shouldn’t be the cap

3. Please add first class transfer ticket too

4. Please add one handed staff for wizard class to choose

5. The items and equipment should be account bound

6. Can you please publish the effect of booster equip and shadow equip in advance? I would’ve had more motivation if I knew how good they are!!! Especially the shadow set!!!

7. For elemental equip set, can we also add prevent cast from interruption effect in the future?

1.Would be nice if manuals are given from box 100 onwards.

 

2. If possible could we get the Blue Potions in those consumable box as well? They are heavy and will put you overweight the moment you open them.

 

3. I wish the Costumes weren't random.

you know i request some those specially extending the event but i was roast by someone who said getting 175 is easy in one month so i stop asking that , but still i want gm listen to this kind of request since most of us dont play straight or spend too much on supplies such bmx3 , vip or do instances to get bmx or buy kp by zeny...

I really hope GM can make the boxes permanent or at least extend the life of the box to another month. I have been making an extra effort for the booster month to play after work but still… I’m a casual player who’s previously spent on stuff like enriched ores, OCPs and weight lifter boxes, but still, when you have a job, most of the day is gone…

Actually I couldn’t even believe I made it to 109 this month because last time it took me 6 months to get to 110 LOL

Has anyone actually reached lvl 175 in this event? (Real players, not AFK) I know pple who has no job niether has kids, has berely made it to lvl 150 playing 24/7

Forgot to add, events like these are awful because it just encourages more people to KS like crazy. Looking at those low IQ Rebels/reverb spammers following us to KS in Nogg.

 

Funny, the moment I put a chat that I report/record KS these people stopped doing it (actually avoiding our spot all of a sudden).

 

I'm sure by the time I ticket this to support it's probably just gonna be talking to a brick wall. Was there someone actually banned for KS or that rule is merely a suggestion.

Pro's:

• Bonus character slot (THANK YOU)
• Good gear for beginners
• Reward spacing was good (except for 1-99 transcendent gap)
• Highly motivating to level a new character

Con's:

• 175 Costume rewards are not exclusive (would prefer a unique char-bound costume specific to the event)
• Costume reward is random
• Booster characters don't level faster in any way
• Many functions are restricted by character weight limit / capacity

Overall I liked the event. I think it could use some better documentation of how to participate, beyond instructions for signing up for the event. I think people would be more likely to participate if they knew what they could get out of the event ahead of time instead of discovering it along the way.

This was not an event. I am a returning player after a 6 year hiatus. I have learned nothing about this game. There are new location but no info on how to get to them or even more important WHY should I go to them. There are new dungeons like instances and illusion dungeons, I still don't know how to get to them or if it's even worth doing all or them or some of them. There are new mobs but should I farm them, and where are they? There are new quests but how do I start them? What do you mean I can't pick my lv175 reward, also how do I hit lv 175 when I got a job and a kid? Just how many hours a day, let alone how many days a week, does this game expect me to play for this "event"?

 

Here is my advice for future booster events. Help educate your returning players. Instead of making the reward boxes level gated, have a quest line for the players to complete per box. These quests could include interface/options usage, location travel, common npcs needed, player actions available ( yes I know how to make a chatroom but why didn't /navi get shown? Game changer), a skill tester. This last one is based on my personal achievement, I never made it to 3rd class before, and I finally made a rune knight. I have to pick a metal weapon and gear set without knowing what my skills do or how best to use them. Firstly, why can my rune knight select class specific weapons that aren't it's class especially when all the items are character bound. Secondly, we select the armor set that gives bonuses to skills as soon as we hit 3rd class, I didn't know if Sonic cutter is better than Dragon's breath let alone what my stats need to be for each pathway (thank you mesmerist). By changing the method of receiving the rewards to quest based (and not just hunting quests) we can make returning players catch up to veteran players with more than just an exp number. The final goal of changing this event into a quest line oriented event is the word used for the last reward box : Goal. If the goal is to be lv175 then the quest line is designed to get the returning player from lv1 to lv175 within the event period for casual play. If the event started with a 2 month period then design the quests to be finished within 6~7 weeks of casual "I can only really logon on the weekend" play.

Would you consider making a modified version of this event as a permanent feature of the game, or even integrate it into the Izlude new player quest line to help starting new/returnee players? As someone who's guiding a couple of new players/returnees, it's really difficult for them to grasp the game entirely, and they ain't even seen the quarter of the game contents and even the godly equipment that we have in Renewal now so I guess giving the new players these kinds of gears can help them be self-sufficient until they reach about level 100 where they can somehow do a little bit of their own hunting. In the case of Thor Renewal, the new attempting players feel helpless when doing solo leveling because of abysmal population, but with the free Booster gear, it helps them to become a little independent when grinding on their own. I don't want them to be dependent on me leeching them in TIs because firstly, I have other contents to do, secondly, they need to learn how to earn their levels. However that due to the lack of decent leveling gears, I completely understand that they need the kind of help I'm giving them or else, they will be stuck with no resources nor progress into the game. This event really highlights how this game keeps on losing players and never attracting new/returnee players at all. Without the booster event, I'm almost certain these new players won't even last a week. I try to help them and entice to stay in the game as some non-pRO Thor players  did who finally earned their way to the end-game contents, and I would love to see more of these new breeds coming.

just came back playing this game and this booster event really help for those who are new and returning players. could you please extend the booster event. if not, at least make the booster box permanent..or allow it to be used once more before it disappear from the inventory even after the Event. got a busy schedule at work during this event, i can't level my character continuously.
