Confirm drop bug on this map server (128.241.92.43 Port :4511) nothing drop ...

title should be renamed. it's not just faceworm skins or faceworm instance.. it's all over the server. prize of hero, Shards of gigantes, all 100% drop and never misses a drop, until now.

This bug has been confirmed to be caused by map servers being overloaded with loot. Instances are assigned a random map server upon creation, which is why the bug is intermittent. The issue can be mitigated by distributing high traffic maps to low traffic map servers. I have sent a PM to Campitor with video proof, hopefully he can take a look at it soon.

 

 

Apparently this was sort of known(based on zayaan's findings) for a long time now, due to some "interesting" farming techniques, that loot would stop spawning on a map if an absolutely enormous gigantic amount of loot was already on the ground. What wasn't known is that this limit is apparently shared with an entire map server, and not just that map.

So yeah, pick up your loots :v

 

 

So it is AFK player fault too? you can saw that drop on low-ti or mid-ti under there fleets.

Everyone that doesnt pick things up add up to it. Specially those rebels/gx winging around solely to ks ppl and run away, as the killing speed(and thus loot generated) is unmatched.

another reason to revisit decision about afk player.

 

- automated leveling

- stay 24/7

- not picking up their loot so its bugged instance drop (it could be your mvp card dropped, who knows ?)

 

enforce the rules, no afk/macro/automated, no ks.

Lmfao ... well tbh, being active doesnt mean loots are picked. Some players dont pick up loots. Otherwise yes automated leveling and 24/7 running = bots lol

i hope there's compensation coming in. i've lost so many rewards so far. i just did a nogh run and all i got was 2 red coags from the NPC. the 2 MvPs did not drop a single thing and so did the treasure boxes WTF IS THAT.

Looking at this thread and knowing that all they are doing for maintenance is restarting the server is so frustrating.

This thread is almost a month old and full of information about a serious ongoing bug that virtually the entire player-base of the game is affected by in some way or another.

From the ticket responses posted here, the GM team's initial strategy was just to gaslight players about a problem even existing.

Then, after almost two weeks, we get news that Cordite has tested and doesn't have a problem so Mayari posts "It seems to be working correctly now as well.", even though they obviously didn't actually do anything to solve it. This is a dishonest and unproductive stall tactic.

When multiple users have reported and shown evidence that there is an issue, being unable to recreate it does NOT mean the issue is solved. It means more information is needed to learn how to recreate it. Any competent software support team should all know this.

At this time, the player-base has identified a promising lead by showing repeated problems with a variety of instances at different times of day, with their commonality being that they share a map server with the Gramps TI maps.

In an old maintenance thread quoted here, Campitor states that the TI maps will be moved to their own map servers and no instances will be assigned to them.

It seems like the obvious solution to try is: stop assigning instances to the TI maps.

If, for some reason, something prevents this solution from being viable, communicate with the players about it (because it was obviously viable two years ago), and what alternate solutions are being considered.

Right now it looks like this support staff is not actually trained to solve problems OR to enact solutions, just to lie and stall.

Afaik AEGIS doesn't have any config options to exclude map servers from being assigned to instances so they're gonna have to redistribute some maps

Not my fault that I don't do PvM but I'd rather buy PvM loots from other players. I'm helping to move the econ. Dead econ if only has farmers but no buyers lol

He’s just blaming ppls not picking up loots in game that’s why the server getting bugs and server crashin. But honestly, iro staffs prolly needed new hardware fix. You gotta buy new processor or sumthin.

do some GMs even know what's going on the server currently? do they even have the slightest idea about the current issues that's plaguing the server right now? i have missed a lot of drops from my instance runs but didn't bother issuing a ticket, however, my anger reached a boiling point when i recently did 2 consecutive ET runs, Naght Sieger dropped NOTHING TWICE IN A ROW. not a single thing when he normally drops 4-5 things even on normal drop rate. Rangris dropped nothing too one time. Then this GM replies me with this:

So far none that i notice. Its nice that each low,mid,high and nogg all have their own separate servers.
