Let's say a ranger is spamming DS on an RK with millenium shield up, the attack gets absorbed by the shield and ends up missing the RK but will cards like familiar still inflict blind?
Do status effects from weapon cards bypass millenium shield?

Doesn't matter because the RK will rekt the Ranger anytime of day.

Hello,
To answer your question, yes it would transfer the status effect to the RK, the millennium shield having the same def and mdef of the caster RK is simply for damage reduction calculations and has no effect on the outcome of status effects, lest levels, stats and resistances come into play.
Just a note though Usurper, even if the status effect would bypass the millennium shield and hit the RK, why would any RK that knows status effects would be a risk, even throw themselves into the fray without using a refresh rune beforehand.
