you can just upgrade with normal rates, if trying +12 not a big issue. OR, you can save them for the next refine event and go crazy doing +15's

To use the HD ores now that the Upgrading Interface has been changed, you can talk to any of the blacksmith NPCs in most towns or talk to the blacksmith Suhnmi on the second floor of Eden Group. These blacksmith NPCs now handle all upgrading attempts from level 0-19 including once the item is past +10 using normal or HD Bradium and Carnium.

+12 will take on average twice as much ores, yes. what did you expect? still cheaper than a +12 refine ticket if you already have +10/11.

i guess in your case, you should just take option 2 and wait a few months for another refine event. everyone happy
