I thought the server is under maintenance or some thing, then I realize I need to activate my VPN to access this forum.

 

Game refuse to patch, its just said cannot connected to the server.

I keep getting "Failed to connect to server" message every time I tried to log in. Same ISP Indihome, any of you guys have same problem?

This is really interesting, why? because Indihomo have a "Gamer Package", its basically an Internet package full of garbage tier offer related to local Indonesian publisher, for example get more 50% EXP and drop, Lytod (change name to Gravindo change name again to Gnjoy) is one of the local Indonesian publisher.

 

When I browse Warpportal official site it automatically redirecting me to Indihomo main site, you can try it (Indonesian), I try to Login Warpportal account >>> game >>> Ragnarok Online, and the result is between I got redirected to Indihomo or endless loading 

 

Recently Lytod release a Ragnarok "Revo-Classic" server,

The next thing happen is I cant patching the game, I cant go to Ragnarok Online Warpportal official main page, even the forum is not accessible at first, and now it works after I use VPN, its weird because after even I turn off my VPN the forum is still accessible..

idk man theres saying you dont bite the hand that feed you. in this case you dont mess around with local gangster in their turf especially if you depend on them for the internet....?

Meh this is just so dirty and so cheap, if I cant play IRO it doesnt meant I will play IDRO, its fine, I already play this game since 2004 I considering this a right time for me to retire,

i agree thats it is quite dirty move. you could change your isp provider perhaps as a solution? hopefully there is no monopoly on providing internet service based on region like ragnarok haha.

speaking of quitting. i thought i left this game for good last year. now i m back playing lol. although not in the fervor or as active as last year due to some reason. mainly getting old, nowdays feel so tired looking at screen when i m only 30 minutes into leveling...

for assuring; Indonesia its not region blocked. i use Gmedia and my frens use XLHome and its good. Indihome has a long lasting of bad history with iRO, aside from the RTO spikes this bad ragnarok-ISP relationship made me change to gmedia.

 

anyway, for the (semi) solution is always DNS flush b4 playing RO and the other is use paid vpn

Too bad for Indonesians living outside of Jawa, especially in rural area like me. We don't really have many options for ISP. It's either indihome or nothing.

Btw, iRO starts working again for me. No VPN, both patch server, warpportal and client are good to go.

using indihome, can still login fine.
try restart your router, using custom dns like cloudflare (1.1.1.1) or try other vpn

And now its works,lazy to translate, but in the blue color text, I explain when I try to go to Wapportal web site especially Ragnarok Online, it redirecting me to indihome web site.

 

Now I can patch the game.

This happening again, and when I try to send email to costumercare@telkom.co.id Gmail give me a notification the address is not found.

 

This is the last information I got:

 

 

 So I was asking what/how or why this problem occurred and the answer is maybe there is a possibility due the problem from the server, and that it, now I cant play IRO (refuse to patching) and I can browse this forum by using VPN, so if anyone experiencing this problem and want to solve this problem, please call Indihome at 147.

 

I believe this problem happen is because Indonesia local Publisher was releasing a new Ragnarok Server, until then I gonna go retire and do something else.

i just use indihome, not game package, i still can open wp forum but the game like hell,,, 3 sec delay for 1 click...
