It would be nice to be able to play Ragnarok on a Steam Deck.

Hello! That sounds like a pretty cool idea. I don't really have any answers right now, but I will forward this to the team to bring it to their attention. Thanks!

Deck is supposed to have touchscreen, so RO should be playable on it using mouse controls
Here is post by another developer describing steps required to enable EAC support:

Here is Valve documentation on Proton testing:

Been playing using Proton up until EAC was introduced

Proton on Steam is linux-only at the moment, and Wine isn't supported officially on MacOS 10.15 and newer.
So, officially, EAC on Mac currently applies to native MacOS games, and RO isnt one.

OMG ME 2!!!!!!!
Feren has come so far - and so quick!
If I could reminisce with that RO2 and RO nostalgia in the comfort of my favourite OS... My partner and I would binge -SO- hard.

Year 2023. Linux steam client includes proton. A lot of games simply runs with EAC on linux. C'mon, why we still can't run RO?
