tbh, if people think this is a scam, why still put money to buy that ocp to get that ring after they realize the fact? At least they can control the loss if they paid some amount and no one is forcing anyone to spend real money, and already a lot of forum discussion on jRO enchants not coming to iRO at least in the near future. 

 

But I do agree that WP should stop that false advertisement on the combo with that enchant before releasing that OCP, in that sense, people probably won't spend much money there to buy OCP, but how can WP make money by doing this xD?

not everyone know what is happening on jRO enchants and the damn Ring before.

especially those New player/ returning player, they are not realized the fact/ history about past OCP.

the fact you posted about soul ring earlier confirms you knew that the jro enchant was not on the ring. so if you know one doesnt have, what makes you think the next one after will?

first have you seen the threads about how much gravity makes? you think your 100-1000 makes a dent? it is not even 1% the sense of entitlement is honestly too much.

for your first statement, I didn't post Soul Ring, you wanna follow post please be smart enough to see the poster's name. I didn't know the the damn soul ring before.

I got my ring of nature and then found out the enchantment wasn't available, and follow post,

digging the history and kafra items, I have done my work for this damn ring.

 

also, I'm a just one case one person, it doesn't represent any other ppl, there are many people especially New Player or returning player, that got cheated by the Ring. Believe or not, it is up to you, if you want to make claim or showing somebody wrong, do your homework give proofs.

 

It doesn't matters how expensive gravity sell their items in other servers, it matters here as it is written on the product.

 

2nd it doesn't matter who will or will not come after that, man, you customers has their rights, if you didn't think this is a scam.

Try to using your brain, I will do this for you once again, think about it:

you pay 1000USD to buy a Iphone14, it is written on the box, and you go home you open the box,

inside is a got damn Iphone 4, do what do you do? You have to ask refund or what ever to protect your right because it is scam.

 

I did not make any investment or I should say I don't need to do investment in game.

if I want something, every month new OCP come or kafra, if I happen to playing, I just buy WP with really money,

man if I wanna do much investment, better keep my eyes on the real world stocks market,

and this is just what is in your mind or maybe you yourself make other investments against the Ring lol.

 

for god sake man, how much does this god damn powerful Ring of Nature worth in full power?

5b? 10b at most? you work for one hour in real life you can get many Ring of Nature,

it is all about Attitude and Rights, forget your game Zeny invetment.

Remember we don't have OCP's items rate before? now we do know every single items rate in OCP, that is a progress, cases are very much alike.

yes I was wrong. I attributed a post you did not write to you. My mistake. I think we are arguing 2 different things here as well. Also, maybe we should take this to private messaging or something. we are cluttering this thread.

You are saying the ring is not what you expected it to be.

I am saying the choice you made to ignore all warning signs and red flags about OCP items coming into the game without having bugs and or wrong descriptions was flat out stupid. If you have played this game for 1 month and visited this forum at least 2 times you will notice the amount of bug reports, description discrepancies of items. If you had done any research on the item and saw the description from any other RO server you should have asked someone if those enchants were in IRO. You made a stupid decision out of greed to get some item you thought you could use to help you farm better/level quicker/possibly sell for zeny (btw that is an investment) and it turned out not to be what you thought it was.

RO does not have any money back guarantees, warranties, or anything like that. Its an "all sales are final" type of thing. If they do compensate people they do it because they can and they want to. not to correct your mistake. No where on that OCP listing/box/post/whatever said you had to buy that box (because you keep insisting you spend real money on some virtual item) I do not care if you bought it with real money or in game currency. your decision to purchase something without being informed was bad. Period.

Take responsibility for your misguided purchase, stop throwing a temper tantrum like a 2 year old kid, and move on. why on earth would you keep making the same mistake over and over again when the result is the same. That is stupidity. (I am too apparently, I am arguing on the internet).

You think your purchase of KP matters when they have many more people doing it? Get over yourself. You think you are entitled to some type of compensation for your rashness and greediness. regardless if they sold you a rock or a multi-million dollar home. No where does it say you are entitled to compensation.

I do think however, they need to come out and make a statement regardless on the Jro enchants. Are we going to get them or no? Their localization team really needs to get their stuff in order and do a better job too.

pretty sure i did not say the company was right in any way. If my logic is really flawed then enlighten me. pretty sure it went like this in a nutshell.

company: i make so many mistakes pumping out items.
person: i did research on the item i wanted, but the item i want has something non existent in server.
company: repeats past mistakes again.
person: let me buy it anyways, even though the companies only consistent thing is their inconsistency.

not for sure if you have anything where a sale is final where you live as well. There is no section that says they will reimburse you or compensate you if the item is bugged.

Ya'll should really consider gathering some volunteers to help with translations and identifying items not acting the way they should - there are more than enough people who are willing to do it for free (and can do so without needing to log into the more nuanced aspects of the literal server, they're very good at math!!)

of course this is pending approval from daddy kRO and US/California employment laws lol. anyways, that's probably a lot of paperwork for a small team who's already busy enough...

Didn't they have a section 9 team from players at one point or something?  There was like 3-4 players on forums who helped them with some aspects of the game I believe. (I forget their forum title) I wonder why they had to get rid of that or if they could do it again.

Most likely to do with changes to employment law, or maybe the contract just expired! 

 

I would like to think that the volunteers also weren't being..... 'rude'...... with assuming that they'd get in-game items and perks too.

Keep the ring. Once we got the enchants in a future update the price will skyrocket like crazy.

You just need to be patient like we all here are and stop thinking about it, is not healthy.
