Need advice about low budget gear.

dbrk = 3b upwards

dbrk is all about gears and equipment,

& in terms of overall cost , dbrk is low budget compare to any other class

read the other post.
if you cannot afford dbrk, ibrk is more expensive if you want to make it strong

 

stop asking for stats, stats are adjusted according to the person's equipment.

125luk for ROJ , 120int for seraphim etc etc.

asking for stats depend on your equipment.

 

& general rule of thumb :
physical class , add str,
range class , add dex
mage class, add int.
every other stats u need beyond this, just add accordingly 

dex for hit, vit for health, 

 

in most case, ignore agi and luk. they are pretty useless for starters.

you'll add them when you know more about the game

+9 Tae Goo Lyeon(2 Hunter Fly Cards) EA8-10 100m-300m(20%ACD)

+10 Evil Dragon Armor 200m-300m

+8 Red Baby Dragon Hat 80m-150m

+9 FAW ea 421 200m-250m + Fairy Leaf Powder 50m(15%ACD)

Temporal Ring 150m-200m + a +6/+9 Temporal Dex Boots SOL/EA4 100m-250m(30% ACD)

New Wave Sunglasses 100m-200m(ACD 10%)

 

This gives 75% After Cast Delay reduction for DB and efficient HP/SP leech from Evil Dragon Armor + Hunter Fly Cards for leveling. Estimated cost is 1-1.5b. You can push ACD reduction to 83% if you add reload enchanted costumes(5%ACD) and Chimera accessory card combo(3%ACD), otherwise I would just save up for Fafnir scale(700m) for 30% ACD reduction and huge DB damage boost.

 

The general stat build for DB is 120dex and rest into VIT and INT and about 30-50 AGI(for 185+aspd)

Also Storm Stone+Peuz set combo(4 Piece set) gives 70% ACD reduction for DB for 10 seconds when you cast Aura Blade. It can become tedious to recast aura blade every 10 sec but if I was dirt poor I would definitely try it. You still have to deal with .5 sec fixed cast time without temp dex boots but you can improve ACD reduction easily to 90% with a +9 Tai Goo Lyeon. Storm Stone cost 20m right now and Peuz set can be farmed with mora coins or by trading silvervine for mora coins in malangdo by the cat npc next to the vending machine but would be cheaper to buy the peuz set from players who can farm mora coins. I've seen pieces sell for 5m each so the total cost of the set should be 40m-80m and I would probably pair it with Red Baby Dragon to increase DB damage so I could 1 shot mobs however there is no way to leech sp without incubus pet or sp leech costumes so just eat blues or sit your butt down and regen. You can also upgrade the peuz set to +9 or enchant to increase HP/SP further but you have to decide if its worth it for a 10 sec buff. If lazy I suppose you can also macro aura blade for every 10 sec but I'm not sure its legal.

that is truly fascinating,

i ponder upon why i didn't thought of this, this was exactly the same setup i had before Yggdrasill accession was introduce.

Can also swap FAW and TGL ea10 for:

 

+8 Skin of Gwiber(w/120 base DEX/INT=12%ACD)

+9 TGL ea 2/1 + Fairy Leaf Powder(15%ACD)

Humanoid Chimera Card + Material Type Chimera Card(3%ACD)

 

This gives you an extra 15% ACD to reach 90% ACD reduction to spam DB however, you lose alot of range damage but Its probably the cheapest route to 90% acd reduction and may help you level faster depending on where you level.

imo, i concluded that going for "temporary" gear is not the way to go.
 

1. it's a hassle to purchase such gears, at the price you willing to pay
2. you're just using it till you're able to afford the BIS gear, which the BIS gear is probably 2~3x the cost only.
3. selling away such outdated gear will take you quite some time. (not sure if anyone else would even buy it)

so why bother , just buy the better/BIS gear once & for all.

in any case when it comes to budget constraint just need to prioritize which would make difference & which to get first.

I can see that working, just going Fafnir Scale +Tae Goo Lyeon at the very start. 50% ACD reduction is perfectly fine for leveling when you get such a big damage boost from Fafnir and then just adding best in slot as you go.

Backtrack a few years and with only a +9 TGL and 2x Expert Rings people deemed that acceptable enough to play a "budget RK"(cuz the only way to boost delay past that at the time were Kiel cards) even at max level. I'm sure any half assed gear on today's standards is more than enough to carry you through the leveling and initial part of endgame farming process.

with current gears now, what would be ideal for db rk?

headgear = red baby dragon

midhead = diabolous wing?

lower = ??

weapon dragonic or tgl?

garment = fafnir breath

armor = fafnir scale

shoes = ancient boots or diabolous boots (depending on midhead gear)

accessories = pdm temporal ring? or ring of jup?

 

does that seem correct?
