Thank you Vin!! I used Live2D Cubism Editor., just the free version because my free trial already expired haha   I plan to by the subscription soon after I've drawn a non-chibi model version of my persona. I don't have photoshop, my potato laptop can't handle it.

Here's some new stuff I recently did~

 

1. a PNGtuber commission. I guess I'm a PNGtuber mama now (nooooooo I'm still young)

OMG, I just watched your video of painting Ganyu.

That's amazingly adorable. You really did a great job on the environment light and char.

The sunset and the vibe are wonderful.

I learned how to draw the sunlight now, all thanks to your video.

And you use SAI to paint all of it, wow.

 

I used SAI to draw line arts last year when i started my drawing adventure.

It's a great tool and it's really light. ( only 50 MB)

I didn't know that using SAI can do the coloring so beatiful like you do.

 

Maybe i should use SAI again to try the coloring.

My old laptop runs so slowly when drawing on photoshop.

Does SAI have the recording feature now? Speed painting process video looks so good.

 

Starting today, I'm challenging my self to atleast be able to draw 1 doodle everyday. I'm slow on working on my drawings and I wanna improve that.

It normally takes me 2~3 days (probably 10~16hrs more) to finish a simple character drawing.

Thank you Lorenz! I've been looking for inspiration and references on pinterest.

 

Also I found @theposearchives on twitter / X. They model and do poses for references. So it's really helpful for artists like me who didn't really study human anatomy.

 

Didn't actually expect for someone to commission me for a PNGtuber since it's not really on my comm list. Client allowed me to post it on my other social media except twitter as she wanted to do a PNG reveal on her debut. But no date yet.

I fell asleep last night and wasn't able to post it here, but here's my practice for yesterday. I realized I'm already failing on the challenge I set for myself as this on took 5 hours or more to do LMAO *dies*

Also I found out how the Priest 4th job is gonna look like. Where did the cute and innocent archbishop look went?   Cardinal design gives me mommy I mean mature vibes   but.. I don't wanna be mature

I would say: Don't worry about the costumes of 4th classes.

 

We are artists.

We can always adjust the dresses.

You know what I mean. 

If it's too mature.

We make it cute.

Ohhh I think you meant Live2D models. For PNGtuber you don't really need to cut anything. Just need to draw a version with eyes open/closed and the mouth also open/closed. But yeah, the cutting is so time consuming! No wonder vtuber models are so expensive.

 

I agree, I prefer the female Inquisitor look than the female Cardinal. Cardinal gives me professor look vibes. Maybe I'll just draw my AB as a Inquisitor then hahaha

Woah you watched the video? I hoped it didn't cause any dizziness as there's a lot of zooming in and out. I do not know if the full version of SAI have the timelapse, as I do not have it. I do know that Clip Studio Paint(CSP) have the timelapse recorder. I actually downloaded CSP and currently testing the trial version however it is a heavy app just like Photoshop.. and I only have a potato laptop so it's laggy to draw there. I guess I'll stick to Paint Tool SAI. I use OBS to record the speedpaint!

 

I love the simplicity of SAI. I get overwhelmed when trying Clip Studio Paint and Photoshop as there's a lot of buttons and I'm lazy to study their uses 

 

I just discovered I can do headshots in less than 10 hours. But the Ganyu fanart took around 20 hours and the background was only clouds. If I ever tried to do a background like you did with the Juno I guess I'll die    lmao. I'm trying to omit some of my process. In my recent headshot arts, I skipped doing the clean and super thin lineart and I guess that really helped to lessen the time.

 

LMAO! Vin speaking words of wisdom! Imma agree tho on what you said, as artist we'll just adjust the dresses to our taste. I'll try that when I draw my priest again! Or I'll just run away from Cardinal and draw my priest as Inquisitor *FADES*
