The game was constantly begging/taunting me to buy these extremely underpriced +9 Tengu shoes(seller must of needed the zeny fast for something else, and since It's not a very popular job, it takes awhile to normally sell, so yea). Finally I'm like ok I'll buy it, still want/saving up for a minor item for my RG, but for 100k, I'm going to regret it later, if I don't get is, so anyway...

 

 

With my RG basically fully geared, and only needing 1 more major RK item(which I technically have the funds for, but need to wait until OCP 41 leaves the kafra shop), I figure might as well start working on my monk typ char, so what are some gear besides the before mentioned shoes I should be looking out for?

whether or not you should be looking for something in specific may depend on which build you want to use. As different build/skills want different specific items/modifiers. You can take a look at irowiki's skill pages for sura and see which gears there boost those skills in any significant manner, but at the end of they day it might or not be used depending on how you want to play.
