1AM LA / 4PM MY chaos unable to login ...

We just kind of need a new fresh server. Seems like only Chaos server is having DC issues

For the daily dc issue, we have 2 assumptions:

 

1. WP staffs are not able to fix the server dc issue because they are lack of ability to maintain the server.

 

2. WP staffs are not willing to fix the server dc issue because they get profit from it, like cooperating with duplicator and sharing the stolen money.

 

No matter which case, those type of staffs should get fired at once in my company.

I managed to connect, server constantly having 99X to 10XY population but very lag...

 

I always failed to login after selecting server...

 

What's wrong with this server?

I mean, if the server status is like this every day, trust me, it will be dupers carnival in the end, and you won’t receive any income. Oh wait, maybe GMs or the dev team is also duping secretly to make extra money to cover for their low base salary? If this disconnection issue is part of WP’s plan to permanently close Chaos soon, please be transparent with us too.

Sending a report and restating the server each time a disconnection happens is not a long term solution and won’t help a lot. Your team really needs to do a deep investigation on the root cause. Currently seems only Chaos has this issue, and the disconnection is very likely caused by those few illegal dupers, again, you need to solve the problem from fundamental in order to have longer time server stability

I am not 100% sure but this is my assumption that WP tech team may look into:

piror to Mic0910's thread where we had a discussion about the duplicators, server disconnections were map server only (characters within that map server, possibly including some instances because instances are assigned to random map servers, were disconnected; other player were unable to go into these maps either);

after that thread, server disconnections are character log in server only.

What a coincidence. 

It is possible that the map server disconnections were related to duplicators and character log in server disconnections are caused by them to mislead the investigation team, but they don't actually duplicate during these character server disconnections.

Maybe focus more on the map server disconnections piror to Feb 27th, 2023.

Nah, it's been character server most of the time,  a couple of the times it was the lhz map server, but like 85% of the time it has been character select.

That's very different from my observation prior to Feb 27th.

Either way that's my thoughts. WP investigation team (if there is one) should have the log for both types of server down.

Why is this only happening in Chaos? Can WP team really investigate these duping and server crashing problems?

Normal players are affected and losing lots of VIP times while the server is down. Yet these dupers are free from being punished. Are you gonna ignore these problems until they are escalated? Or are you waiting for ‘studio’ to fix your mess?

Can only see the player count on each server and as soon as I pick Chaos which is and has always been the only server I play on I get the same issue as everyone else, Instant dc and  then server still thinks I am logged in.. So, It has been having issues from what I been reading for a couple days now and it seems to only be getting worse and it's pretty lame actually.. So it is effecting our VIP status? Cuz if so that is pretty fkd up!
