Sadly like 75% of his info is wrong, except with the death of ragnarok that part is correct (at least in the west).

Im sure not everything is correct but 75%? Cant be too picky with RO related content, especially since gravitys useless crusade on pservers. he said it himself, he didnt play RO himself, just a kinda similar game

 

Officials in warpportal and gravity shouldve asked themselves 1-1 1/2 decades ago why the product they offer is so bad that people prefer to play on servers managed by casuals running the server f2p in their freetime instead of the real thing with a whole company, or even multiples, but alas.

Some official severs are good and well maintained from what I heard but its not affordable for everyone. Thats why some people prefer to play private servers.

yea this forum is overflowing with constructive discussions about this awesome game bursting with life. How many new players did the war on pservers get iRO, as some here hoped? A dozen?

Gravity has already begun taking down private servers which they should of done many moons ago. Trust and believe that Gravity is not even batting an eye when it comes down to making money we could all leave the server and they would still be making money off mobiles and the server will still be up.....>_>.

First off, Campitor isn't coming back. WP won't pay him more, and I'm betting he's burned out completely.

 

Second, the rest of your suggestions would all but guarantee iRO's demise. With MVP cards in the cash shop, what incentive is there for anyone like you to go hunt MVPs? None. PVE would be nearly extinct. You can literally buy everything you need right now from the cash shop except cards. If WP puts MVP cards in, it'll be a quick cash grab before the servers are shut down.

 

Chaos is P2W. That's why some of us wanted Freya to be a Subscription-based server with only cosmetic items in the cash shop. Because then, everyone would be on an even footing when it comes to time invested, not money investments. And WP could still make money from unenchantable costumes.

Lol what, they just made it seem like they were but only filed 1 lawsuit and not even about the game itself but about the brand name. Pservers already got wind of the situation and many more are being released as of late

Commitment is hard to come by and private servers lack it and nothing lasts forever so iRO will die eventually but the sooner people realize that iRO still stands against hundreds of copies is a feat in itself.

That's actually a feat for pservers, not so much for iRO being the only official server in the west.

MvP cards in cash shop is a fast track. Its not the only way to grt to yoir destination. The introduction of domestic flights didnt kill ground travel by automobiles. But sure, introducing MvP cards in cash shop in iRO might kill the game but the problem isnt the model, the problem is the iRO players and the cultures of iRO.

And yes I agree with Freya being a P2P base. Too bad WP was too greedy and just ruined the server. DoA server.
