Figured I'd pull this out of the maintenance thread into a more manageable thread for visibility. When a town is down, most likely most fields/dungeons in that area are also down.

I'll keep things updated every so often by looking at stuck posts and doing my own tests.

UPDATE: I've done a bit of snooping around and I think I've figured out some map servers. So this means that Ant Hell should go down at the same time as GH, Low TI should go down at the same time as Amicitia, etc.

Payon Cave Floor 1: DOWN (THOR)

 

I have two characters that stuck in there. I was about to start changing for the cardinal job change. If you will airlift my char please don't level it down.

Inside Barmund Mansion is down. my soul reaper and warlock are now trapped in that map and when I try to log into either of them it just kicks me back to log in.

Updated post since things are down for maintenance. I'll keep track of if maps go down again after this emergency maintenance, and if things seem stable then maybe we'll be able to close out this thread soon.

I'd say not likely, leveling maps can be crowded but Vakyrie Hall is never crowded. Same for Alberta and Izlude etc.

in my opinion it is becuz so many items drop on the map and its waste alot of power to server, i think lower the item duration that lie down on the floor would help but just guessing

in my opinion upgrade the servers, they make a lot of money and it seems that they don`t invest on the server

There is very little droppings in Payon and Alberta. I am leaning towards homunculus breaking the maps since players have been reporting issues with their homun.

Payon and Alberta are located on the same map server as Niflheim, and there are tons of item drops there.

Thanks for the updates, guys. Confirmed the loss of map bundle 1, but looks like Izlude is still up. Also confirmed that Barmund, GH, Einbech3, Bio5, Abyss1 (and thus I assume Abyss4 and Odin4) are all still up for now.
