I haven't ever really been into forging, which sucks because it's now obsolete. But for the hell with it, I decided to finally finish leveling my Mastersmith and dive on in.

Now, the question I have is that according to the calculator on that *one site* (you know who), blessing and gloria affect success rates, but does equipment? I can't find any info on stats from gears affecting success rates. And second, do stat foods and/or pets affect the rates?

if blessing and gloria works, any sort of stat bonus should work, since all those skills do is give you stat bonuses, its not like they have any special effect specific to forging.

Well, here's the thing. After using the calculator on the website that I won't name, it's saying that I have a 52.4% chance of making a Very Very Very strong level 3 weapon. But if my math is correct, irowiki's numbers put me closer to 13.8-20.2% before any boosts like blessing and stat foods.

I guess the reason why I'm having an issue with the current system, is because even though I only tried a few times, I have yet to make a very very very strong level 3 weapon successfully, even with modest stat boosting gear. And the irowiki page is so outdated, it's not even funny. Previous topics from 2018-2020 describe a totally different system. One where HD ores are used, and ranked characters having increased enchanting chances??? I'm pretty confused.

1. When imbued with one or more Star Crumbs, the term 'Very' will appear before the forger's name for each Star Crumb used followed by 'Strong'.
Very Very Very Strong Yeef's Sword
2. Using forging slots decreases the success rate of the forge attempt. An elemental stone takes off 20% and each Star Crumb takes off 15%.

With triple star crumb, you would have 45% taken off, with it being lvl 3, another 30% off.

Base + Anvil = 30% +10%, then - 75%.. you're starting off with -35%????

I don't have any experience with crafting but i would like to remind you that even with 50% success rate for enchanting costumes, i have failed 7x times in a row.

Well I don't think anymore weapon crafters are around since it gets overshadowed with all the new weapons.

But, good luck!
