I just came back a few weeks ago and I noticed a big change on Homunculus EXP. I remember that Homunculus used to level a lot faster before and if they kill the enemies on their own they level faster. Now I came back to see they get just 10% of whatever I get. The discrepancy of my Alchemist Level is a lot compared to the Homunculus Level 83 vs Level 50. So if I go to a place where the Homunculus can kill easy and fast, they get extremely little EXP because 10% of what I get is almost nothing. So I got like 0.2 % in like 2 hours of playing in Orc Dungeon. I'm still not even a Trans class. Alchemists kill slow and it's hard for them to kill stronger enemies around their levels in the 80s and 90s.

 

I dunno if I'm missing something here but I really got frustrated trying to Level the Homunculus. If anyone knows how to go around this or a better way to level them, please let me know.

thats why leave your homun until later when you are high level gene

Your homun can level up using bounty board. Do all the bounty quests and eden board quests as well. And then turn them all in later. It's even faster when you use BMX3. I used to level up my homun using Verus daily quest

 

I believe levelling homun is now easier since they updated the exp homun table (or is it bugged again now? i dunno)

I see. Veins... that will have to wait LONG time, since I'm still an Alchemist. Poor Homunculus had been heavily nerfed. Now they last only 30 mins and I need to spend a seed of life every time. So it's kinda like paying 40,000 zenny to use a weak mercenary for 30 mins. RIP.

the real bad part is the exp amount needed for it to level, it pretty much guarantees you wont be seeing a homunculus S until late 150+, you can negate the seed of life requirement by letting it die and using homunculus resurrect so the 30min timer is reset.
