Hello,

Confirmed by HQ its patched to our server and the setting was changed from 100 --> 70,
I will investigate this,

Anyone have tried it on Thor or Freya server?


*Note the delay on 2nd July MA was because we are fixing the MD disconnection issue , not the attack motion

Perhaps it was typoed or added under the wrong section? The server looks for the exact string "ATTACK_MOTION_TIME_TERM" under the [ETC] section of RO.inf and assigns 100 by default if it isn't present.

Like so:

[ETC]
ATTACK_MOTION_TIME_TERM = 70

At this point that's the only explanation I can think of.

Edit: or a duplicate key was created instead of editing the existing one...

[ETC]
ATTACK_MOTION_TIME_TERM = 100 <- this will be used
ATTACK_MOTION_TIME_TERM = 70 <- this will be ignored

I'm not even sure HQ tested whether their change actually affected anything, which by the way, is extremely simple to do.

Set AMTT to 10000 and restart the server

[ETC]
ATTACK_MOTION_TIME_TERM = 10000

Is there now a 10 second delay between skill casts (not normal attacks)?
- yes? cool, set it to 70
- no? then it was done wrong or the server no longer loads it from the file that was edited, figure out where it's being loaded from and set it to 70 there

I get that the instance disconnection issue was probably of a higher priority but this wouldn't have taken much time for HQ to test.

50/50 chance that if they do that we get stuck with 10 second cooldown for the next decade.

The latest update is that it was also patched on thRO, which also did nothing. HQ insists that it was patched correctly but massive X to doubt on that claim. I guess my claims would be under doubt now, too. But I believe I've provided enough evidence to prove my claim, and there are things that I cannot post here which further prove it.

As far as I can tell, there would be 4 reasons as to why it would have done nothing, in order of what I think is most likely to least:
1) See post #26 in this thread (HQ says it was done correctly)
2) Each zone server has its own RO.inf, so if for some reason they aren't being synced (this would be dumb), it's possible that it actually was patched and is working properly on a select few maps
3) It's now being loaded from a different file (as of episode 17 it was still being loaded from RO.inf, though)
4) The value is now hardcoded (which would be strange...)

What can be said without a doubt is that AMTT is still 100, as the following table from testing after maintenance is consistent with skill delay calculation using a value of 100:
((200-ASPD) * 10 + 100)
