As a Elemental Master main I have conflicted feelings about this post, one because it's been my main for many years now and I can safely save they have not always been like this, maybe it's just their time to shine now and that's nice coming for me because I do get irritated seeing so many Elemental Masters as well. What I have notice though is the Elemental Masters you're referring to are all rich simply put and I'm not trying to pull out my "poor" card here but ..... 

 

It's like taking a homeless man....aka *ME* and putting me in the Royal Palace and then wondering why everyone else is the same......It be like dat sometimes lol. 

 

Does it make me angry? YES! Do I I think they need to be nerf / changed or reworked? No. In fact I encourage it people to make more Elemental Masters but just know it takes a lot of zeny to be like that.  That's all.

When DB RK was the most OP skill, people complained about it being OP.. "RK had the most love" they have mounts too?

 

When CC Gene was OP, everyone complained about it being OP..  "Gene had the most love" They got cart boost too?

 

When ED RG was OP, everyone complained about it being OP..  "RG had the most love" they have mounts too?

 

When MA GX was OP, everyone complained about it being OP.  "GX had the most love"  they have hallucination walk and Dark Claw too?

 

Now sorc PW is OP, everyone complain about it being OP. "Sorc has the most love" *insert all you said*

Every player, not just you experienced above but are dealing with it, the real question is are you okay?? 

If it's not your season, just play casually.. I have seen every class being played in the past week and it's not EM's only. 

 

I don't know why this is an issue when there were OP builds before this EM season.. There was a ton of OP's before EM's, why don't you just let EM people enjoy the gears they paid for just like the OP classes before EM's?

 

That's why field maps should be PvP/WoE. To find out once and for all, which class is the master class of all /gg

time to buff warlocks.. update laphine shield to have 5% increase comet damage per base level or 30% increase comet damage per refine   and remove comet animation delay like PW so it can be macro'd too

He probably doesn't play the other magic classes because clearly he doesn't even know that it's ALSO best in slot for others. Which to you and me, and other people who actually play these other classes (and probably why we're not crying) is because the items are helpful to a LOT of magic builds.

 

He's just nitpicking about the Comet 3, that obviously people can get through Dark Lord Destroyer Boots combo but idk why he doesn't think of a solution but instead cries here. EM's pay 15b for Fenrir card to get comet 3, why can't he invest 12b for a Dark Lord set if he wants comet that bad? EM's actually pay top dollar for that too. Why can't he do that for his character? 

 

The problem is not the comet, but it further increases the OP damage of PW. The main point here is can your magic class (aside from EM) or any of the class clear the hardest dungeon or at least go near it's 3B+ dps? I think the purpose of this rant is to not rely too much on having an EM char just to clear 100% of the dungeons and to have bragging rights that he already reached damage limit. Yes you're right, every char (could) have his time but today just a few class shines. It's a good thing, Ninja slowly given some love. But can it match the EM? Nope, it's still constellations away. Probably everyone have at least one EM char so saying let EM people enjoy it is not an argument here. It will further give us evidence that this game is all about EM "for now".

Ermmmm I think the people need to understand the point of view of a new comer imagine that person reading this thread........like literally imagine. This EM does this amount of damage and this guy has 10 EMs and EM this EM that and the person reading this has a [4] Rod and cotton shirt. It's fine that EMs are OP we all get it clearly but just for one second imagine that new guy figuring out that he has to accumulate BILLIONS!!!!  of zeny to achieve that....why is no one talking about that!?!? Or do we all think new players arrive with billions of zeny? idk man idk.

Billions on ME still yields better results than most classes, if not all classes. Not sure why OP is ranting but his points are valid.

 

ME people defending ME isnt new. I've seen all kind of people defending their own classes because they dont want to admit its their class that is strong. It defeats the purposes of self flexing lol

 

Only if more people were more honest. Just say they're strong because of their classes. I've always been saying RG is strong, if not the strongest class in iRO, but most people dont believe me QQ. Meanwhile other people, saying their main classes (GX and ME probably) are weak and require high investment to be good, yet many people are maining them weak classes supposedly. iRO players must love challenges. Time to lower the cap to 69% instead of 90%

You don't need to be old in this game just to accumulate billions. Just swipe and you will get there as fast your credit limit go. You only need knowledge on the gears to reach insane amounts of damage and it is not that hard. Even the outdated gears can still outclass other jobs. That's the point. And you already said it's fine that EM is OP but didn't justify if other class can reach that level of OPness.

I think both sides got a point. Every class deserves their time to shine. And to be honest, it's not only EM who can clear end game contents. EM, SX, IG, DK, Meister, Troub/Trouv and can each deal 100m++ dps (or more for sure) but I believe other classes (Windhawk, Cardi, AM, etc.) can do that as well as long as they are using high end gears. Of course some class has their own advantages (though some of those advantages were artificially given by items, not merely by their class skills), but all of them can still easily kill those new MVPs.

 

Maybe to make this fair:

1. WP should stop upgrading these classes and start looking other classes who have very limited options and thus cannot play some of these end game contents. It is ridiculous to keep giving new items to the same classes for months (some of them even have their version 2 already, like wtf), while they have more than enough to clear all these difficult contents and probably upcoming episodes as well. Give other classes their cash shop (OP items) as well.

2. For non-spenders, give free-gears that are sufficient at least for leveling. For instance, playing free-gears Sorc with 5 sec CD PW or Maestro/Wandy with 7s SR will not be enjoyable to these new players. At least give them free gears (I don't know maybe from iRO-exclusive quest/instance) that reduce CD of these skills to 1.5s or 1s, and give enough damage to level up with reasonable speed (but no need to be OP and one shot everything).

By the way, @CM Poring @GM Belzeebub, can you please forward our request below during the next meeting with HQ?

We are still waiting for Ether Dust and BSB in cash shop (with reasonable price of course, maybe around 600-800 KP for a box of 100 Ether Dust, and 2400-3600 KP for a box of 100 BSB). This way, we can simply swipe to buy the materials and upgrade our gears, not waiting for the once-monthly rewards that barely give enough materials for refining/grading one item. It will also eliminate the need to buy those items from unknown vendors, which (who knows with what's been going on) may be duped items. Even if they are not duped, this will simplify the process for people who don't have time to open room and sell those points.

Yes, I know it's supposed to be 3% or something, so with gum should be very easy to farm. But since our beloved WP hasn't done anything for almost a year since 4th job came and has always put them in spending rewards, I don't know* if they intentionally made it this way. So either they "fix" the drop rate or put it straight in cash shop without making it bundled with monthly spending rewards (that only gives few hundreds). They don't even put it this month.

*edit: nvm, they must be well aware of this, since they have "increased" the ED drop rate somewhere in previous patch, but we all know it's still hard af to farm.

 

Regardless, BSB is not farmable material and should be put straight in cash shop (without a need to gamble with OCP, since for high refining this is almost like basic material just like ores and is needed in large quantity).

So it's either you've spent years developing zeny or you're brand new and dumped xxxx amount of money into the game but just between me and probably everyone in this thread one is definitely more satisfying than the other and that's actually playing the game and for that you don't need money just time.

Let me get this straight you spent years playing these characters....dropped them because the damage was not enough for you. Made a EM for some reason (Guess you saw how much damage they were doing) then later figured out that you didn't like EM. Ummmm LOL I don't even know how to respond I honestly just think you need a break from RO figure out what you want out of life.

let me summarize this from 2012 until now, iRO has been:
1. Gene online 
2. RK online (this is the longest reign) 
3. RG online (very short lived)
4. GX online

and now EM online.

I mean, obviously you'd want to play a class that can clear instances easily, so you don't have to spend 40 minutes trying to clear Tomb with specific gears to tank Tiara's tetra vortex lol.
EM can pretty much kill Sakray in 5 seconds now btw, without even having to destroy any of the pillars.
It's not about playing victim, it's about asking for at least a little bit of balance between classes.
But either that thought is too much for your mind to handle or you just feel that deep need to have some sort of importance over others in a 2000's game rofl

No....No No No No No lmfao. I could careless about beating anything in 0.1 seconds I think a lot of people here are missing the point in playing a class they like regardless of it's flaws. That person up  there did not like playing EM no matter the damage it did.
