So I have seen some people dealing 2.1b-ish damage (maybe the magic number 231 I guess), so I'm wondering whether this number is our new damage cap.

Can some people confirm whether we will have similar problem of skills damage not registered ("miss") if we deal damage beyond this number. I mean it would be annoying if we have to constantly adjust our gears (equip/unequip) in order for our skills to hit the monsters. If we don't have this problem anymore (still registered as 2,147M), then it shouldn't be a problem I guess. Any new MVPs will probably have a huge damage reduction anyway and upgrading our gears would still have an impact on the final damage dealt to them. At least when dealing with weaker monsters, we don't have to switch back and forth.

1. The damage cap is 2147m
2. Damage above the cap is capped at 2147m anyway instead of being treated as a miss. You do not need to change gears to lower damage. Since there are no monsters with more than 2b hp, a ohko is still a ohko.
3. Damage reductions are applied before the damage cap. For example, this means it's possible for my AM to hit Midnight Fenrir (99% reduction) for 50+m (effective damage 5b) instead of being capped at 21.47m. Other Classes are capable of putting out 100m+++ (effective damage 10b) on the same levels of damage reduction without breaking a sweat.
