WoE Damage Output Too High, Causing Serious Balance Issues

I’d like to discuss an urgent issue I’ve been noticing in WoE lately. The damage output from skills has become ridiculously high, especially after the recent skill adjustments. Many classes are now dealing damage in the billions, which is causing serious balance problems.
 
Right now, some skills can easily deal over 1 billion damage. With the current cap of 90% damage reduction from gear, this is simply unmanageable. Even worse, these high-damage skills can bypass effects like the Sarah Card, which leaves players with almost no way to survive. As a result, WoE has become a game of instant kills — players are getting eliminated in one hit, which takes away the fun and strategic elements of the battles.
 
In the past, WoE battles required tactics and coordination, but now it feels like everyone is just getting wiped out in a second. The current 70% damage reduction for WoE skills is not enough to handle the current damage levels. Combined with the gear resistance cap, it’s impossible for players to survive such overwhelming damage. This also gives defenders a huge advantage, as attackers are getting eliminated instantly, leaving no room for effective offense.
 
I strongly believe that in order to restore WoE’s balance and make it more enjoyable again, the skill damage reduction needs to be raised from 70% to at least 95%, if not higher. Without this adjustment, WoE will continue to be unbalanced and lack the strategy and fun it once had.
 
Has anyone else experienced this? It’s really affecting the way WoE is played, and I hope we can get some attention on this issue.

This is why we need the new woe Herosria, i wonder when is going to be added, but seeing how conformist the 85% of the population from this server is, probably we will have it in 5 years.

Tl:dr. Ban OCPs and Kachues. Ban Golem stone and Frost Giant Blood.

This is why no one WoE 2, and people WoE TE where tactics and strategies still matter. Currently WoE 2 is just for people to go learn how WoE works, practice and get ready to play WoE TE, when they feel confident about their skills.

I agree WoE 2 has become a joke and so stupid. 1-2 hotkeys is all you need. Even my retired friends and I didn't WoE 2 for months. We came back and we already easily killed enemies who defended the econ castle, rightfully broke and conquered the castle, and lastly defended the stronghold of Justice successfully. However, the skill barriers are very high and in most cases, I agree with you, damages too high and most people probably won't and can't break a castle if it's being defended, as they die instantly.

Again, as it's been said many many times, disabled OCPs and Kachues in WoE. To make to more fair? Disable Golem stone and Frost Giant Blood too. Apparently, some people unlimited sources, probably due to duping, and they constantly use in WoE 2 and WoE TE.

I agree with this post WoE 1/2 is a joke at this point, but why do some people only post when they are losing, anyway if y'all really want to make woe a better place, better start reporting 3rd party tools, Bugs, and ofc Dupped items ;^).

WoE so dumb right now, my little brother IRL A.K.A Chakri called me crying to help his butt this past woe 2, Had to carry him again  -_-

leaving jokes aside, Do you think OCPs and Kachuas should have limitations in WoE, or should other balancing measures be implemented? What solutions would work best for both veteran and newer players?Which OCPs (Overseas Care Packages) or Kachua Keys are breaking balance?
Also how everyone feel about the state of WoE and what changes they'd like to see?

Some stuff that we really need:
-Anti-Cheat Improvements
-OCP/Kachua Balancing (then again people like to feel strong and gamble :V)
-WoE-Exclusive Rules / WoE-Exclusive Rental Gear (just like TE)


If y'all really want to balance woe, get everyone who actually play woe to leave their input on this matter.

How can you survive billions of damage with 90% demi reductions and even you combine with some other reduction items? GM doesn't know about anything in WoE. Using old mechanics of WoE , and releasing new OCPs and kachuas that make your damage billion. I said this before that WoE will die in just few months and soon server will die. GM doesn't listen to players anymore.

I agree that damage is too high now and it seems GMs are obsessed about making the strongest class in the game even stronger.

I also acknowledge that the devs won’t go out of their way to brainstorm new changes to the gameplay so this is what I suggest:

Turn-on the “green aura flag” for players inside the WoE1 and WoE2 agits. It should be an easy code change if you use the MVP monsters as template. This 90% reduction should be multiplicative in conjunction to race, size, element and range reduction gears.

bro can u like....remove the 90% reduction limit in pvm. no one can tank betelgeuse with the cap and not everyone wants to play EM and use no delay hack to solo it.

 

some people actually want to play with a party and have fun.

Check those OCP and kachua gears you are putting every week. How can you tank the billion damage with just 90% reduction even you compute there at Gravity HQ. Get the 10% of 1-2 Billion Damage and check the HP of each class. You ruined WoE 1 and WoE 2 with that 90% reduction cap update, and now Woe 1 and Woe 2 is dying because of the update you put.

Second that, 90% reduction limit is BS, that is so unprofessional

 

@beelzebub the team should really review and make proper adjustment instead of introducing something like that 90% reduction limit that destroy the pvm aspect of the game.

Majority of your costumer probably don't even play WOE/PVP. 

 

You're honestly better off disabling tharafrog card / ogretooth card then introducing 90% limit to prevent full resistance for pvp environment. 

At least that has a smaller impact on other gameplay.

Good to see your attention.

 

Why dont you keep things simple? Simply disable OCPs, Kachues, Golem stone, and Frost Giant Blood in WoE 1,2, and TE. This sohuld solve 90% of the problems in WoE. The 10% is to revitalize and improve WoE rewards. Even if you introduce Herosria, I think its actually DoA. Very bad rewards and low incentives. Gears are probably overshadowed by OCPs/Kachues too. 

 

WoE 1 and 2 were so dead for years as people didnt find it worth doing. There have been so many threads explaining about it already. Expensive, difficult, time consuming, etc very insulting rewards. Our guild just came back to WoE 2, even with 90% cap, its fun and manageable if you know what you're doing and communicate with your team during the play. Therefore, maybe you should prioritize WoE rewards to make sure they're good enough to WoE 1/2. Sealed Drake Card only dropped from WoE, maybe :D

 

As for WoE TE, its good, lots of player still enjoy it. The 90% cap fixed it and no one runs with 100% resist that used to ruin the game. However, if you want to keep it stable and fun, again, -> Simply disable OCPs, Kachues, Golem stone, and Frost Giant Blood. Then improve WoE TE rewards.
