Hello, Guys. I’m kinda new in this Transcend type of play (as in I never managed to transcend not even once in any previous RO games). Right now I’m a Lord Knight and due to some wiki walk I chose to use the IB+BB (Ignition Break + Bowling Bash) style.

Lord Knight

Lvl: 83 Job: 45

Stats

Str: 65

Agi: 41

Vit: 57

Int: 1

Dex: 31

Luk: 53

Swordie:

Sword Mastery: 1

2 Sword Mastery: 10

HP Recovery: 10

Bash: 10

Magnum Break: 5

Provoke: 5

Endure: 10

Lord Knight:

2 Hand Quicken: 10

Auto Counter: 5

Bowling Bash: 5

Peco Peco: 1

Cavalier: 5

Spear Mastery: 5

Aura Blade: 5

Spear Dynamo: 5

As I’m quite new to this I really don’t know where to go right now to level up and what F2P friendly equipment. Thus I’m asking for other Dragon Knights for their experience.

Just in case I’m a bit wrong in my stats and skills I can still go to the Mesmerist or Hypnotist and reset my stats and skills for free as I’m still below level 100.

Ignition Break build is cheaper than ever, but it may be more affordable/easier to level 100-200 with a Wind Breaker build that I know most new players find success in! You can find a pretty up to date guide on all builds here actually: https://irowiki.org/wiki/Rune_Knight

Feel free to base your build off the guide, but using the Hypnotist to reset to something close to 90 STR / 1 AGI (for now) / 90 VIT / 1-20 INT / 50 DEX / 1-?? LUK (depending on what build you stick with, less DEX is needed as long as you have enough CRIT). As you are probably seeing, it's all about mobbing with AOEs in RO, so that's why I would suggest removing AGI and focusing on more DEF+HP with VIT.

Gear-wise, the Eden gear can get you to 100 and changing into Rune Knight: https://irowiki.org/...uipments_Quests

Following that, the main questline called "The Royal Banquet": https://irowiki.org/...e_Royal_Banquet will grant you free gear (https://irowiki.org/...lesse_Equipment) that is pretty solid until the next free gear sets in the Main Quest Lines. Following the wiki will lead you through them all easily enough.

Hope that helps you get started!

It helps. I did some research again and found that I was a bit wrong on the IBBB and Wind Cutter. I thought that Wind Cutter needed a consumable item per use. And IBBB have a bit longer cast time.

Still though, I would ask for your stats before I went up to lvl 98 for that Wind Cutter build (Best to be prepared after all). For now I'll lvl up my Str, Vit, and Luk for Frenzy, 2 handed build (and the fact that the test on becoming a Rune Knight says I need at least 70 Dex worries me). Got myself a Violet Fear all thanks to a Priest that one shots MVP monsters.

If I went for the Wind Cutter build, do I still need the Ignition Break for the DK Skills?

Yeah, if you have absolutely zero budget, you can farm most of the needed WC gear from Mora and the rest shouldn't be too expensive after that (hopefully you'll get some funds along the way). It's a very newbie-friendly build that can last a long time, especially with some financial investment.

Ultimately up to you, but I'd probably roll with your 99 stats like so:

lk-stat.png

Then maybe DEX to 60-70, followed by STR to 120, and then AGI to 90 and the rest can be as desired with that build (like more DEX for Hit or LUK for ATK). I don't think you need 70 DEX for the RK test (I don't remember having that much on my builds?), but luckily the Hypnotist is good until level 100 lol.

Ignition Break is not a skill requirement for any DK skills, but it is a strong build you may want to transition over to once you get more funds for better gear! You can use this skill sim to plan out your builds if you'd like: https://www.divine-p.../skilltree/4252
