This is a tutorial for those that have issues after the latest EOS-EAC patch. Now before anything if you have windows 7/8/8.1 or windows 10 x86 then EOS-EAC its not supported in those operative systems so switch windows10/11 x64.
The following its for people with non BSOD problems (blue screen of death) and just normal EAC problems when opening via game launcher:
- Make sure you have Win10/11 x64 version, x86 versions are mostly unsupported
- Go to your Ragnarok Online/EasyAntiCheat route and make a shortcut for EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe, put this in the command line: qa-factory-reset
- Execute the shortcut and this should have closed the EAC service if started in the first place + clean the registry keys
- Go to your Registry Editor in Windows and check if you have HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\EasyAntiCheat_EOS. If you do then delete the folder
- Delete your entire Ragnarok folder and download the full client from here https://mirror.irowi...Feb-20-2025.zip
- Once downloaded and extracted run the Ragnarok.exe and wait for it to update
- Run Updater.exe (it does nothing visible but still do it)
- Check if HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\EasyAntiCheat_EOS exists, it should exists
- Open the game through the launcher as usual
You can do all of these steps by opening eac_installer.bat from the following link, credits to Pingaify: https://mirror.irowi...t_Installer.zip
For those who have BSOD errors it gets more complex:
- Update every outdated driver with windows updater help
- Update your BIOS (find how in google)
- Uninstall AntiVirus
- Close and uninstall other anti cheats from other games like Vanguard, BattleEye, Nprotect, etc.
For those who have EOS_Sessions_InviteFailed or EOS_NoConnection:
- Download a free VPN like ProtonVPN and connect to any country except yours
- Log in into the game and if you were able to enter it means something its blocking EAC connection
- Try to disable windows firewall, anti virus or anything that could be blocking connections
- Disconnect your router for at least 10 minutes
- If nothing works call your ISP and explain the problem, this is a network problem something its blocking/interfering with EAC
Currently users in Indonesia using Telkom ISP are facing issues trying to connect to Epic Game Services. As iRO uses EOS-EAC Telkom users cant connect to the game and they are forced to use VPN for the moment. If you are an indonesian player the easiest its to call your ISP and complain you cant play Fortnite, as this is a huge game popular worldwide that uses EOS-EAC, its easier for the ISP to take your request more seriously rather than naming Ragnarok Online.
