Hello.

I am just statting in iRO and going to cash some real money for making some zeny and getting life easier.
What are must have items to buy in cash shop and in game?

Are the some syrups/potions or another consumables worth buying in game since the beginning?
What about VIP and Kafra Bonus, are they worth the Money since the beginning?

And finally, what are the best options to buy in the cash shop and be dor for zenies nowadays?

Some must haves QOL items (in my opinion) for brand new leveling would be:

• The new Special Kafra Buff Box = 9 days of VIP, 7 days of additional 50% EXP+Drop, and 5 Kachua Keys
  • The [10 Day] Premium Subscription gives 10 days of VIP & special vending vouchers for selling items while offline (and can be sold for 40-60m each to players)
• Infinity Drink Box = 30 minutes of +5% buff to several things & prevents cast interruption, and 11 Kachua Keys (for 200 Box)
• Defense Scroll Package = 10 minutes of +500 DEF/+200 MDEF & SP regen potions (save for later levels), and 11 Kachua Keys (for 200 Box)
• Speed Booster Package = 30 minutes of Increased AGI Movement Speed & FLEE and ASPD buffs, and 11 Kachua Keys (for 200 Box)
  • Every weekend there is a special item box on sale that has an item called Guyak Pudding which gives you the faster movement speed for only 5 minutes, but def worth considering.
• There are several other bigger damage-buffing consumables but I wouldn't worry about them until you want/need additional buffs.

 

In terms of what sells best, I'd say the ol' reliable would be the Kachua's Enriched Elunium/Oridecon Box. People are always buying and they're going for over 400m each currently.

As for in-game gear, a lot of it can depend on your class's skills, but here's some stuff under 100m I'd strongly recommend that will work regardless of class:

• Catherina Von Blood
• Bat Von Blood
• Love Ring
