Basic research and thesis wait time just to get an item is outrageous. It is A SUPER BAD DESIGN AND QOL.

 

Do you really expect people to spend 3 minutes just to get an item? And people have a lot of them and imagine how many time spend idling just for that?

 

I spent KP just to get my battlepass to level 200 (yes, i am that dumb and i regretted my choice), and now i am stuck with 255 basic research, and i need to spend 12,75 frickin' hours just to turn them in, with my computer on and i cant use that char while the process takes place.

 

This game is old, most of players are working adults, and you treat us like unemployed youngsters that have nothing to do with the time and electricity bills? Why are you punishing the players? Shame on you.

I agree! I know this is the season 1 of battlepass so kindly send out a form or do a survey on discord on how to improve your bp for season 2 because this is just not it

Also, give us the may rewards!

Most of the dailies are locked behind clearing Ep 17, basically trying to upsell players those clear tickets or suffer speedrunning the questlines. 

Assuming not on premium BP, you could probably only do one quest (that one where you turn in items?) I haven't touched the BP yet can someone confirm.

 

Tried to be cheeky talking to the Amiticia daily NPC at level 215 but it's quest locked. Disregard, you can still go inside Amiticia as long as you're level 215+

Rudus is locked behind doing episode 17.1 however.

do you really need to talk to the amiticia daily npc for those? thats vile. BP being a lvl 200+ thingie is already a huge stretch for most players, looking more like a huge time+money sink rather than an engaging content.

Nvm I autopiloted talking to the daily quest NPC which is quest locked, the dungeon itself is not.

Assuming a player hasn't done the episode quests and is on the free tier, they can do 2 out 4 dailies, 3 if at least level 230+

This is pretty horrible design, and thankfully I didn't spend to fully try it out. The only plus side is that there is no manual intervention so the handful I had were handled as I AFK'd and did something else lol. I guess just start it before bed and get through it in chunks overnight?

 

I wanted to get the limited Costume but spending $600USD to skip ahead for it is ridiculous. The limited daily quests are too few with only a 500 point boost after doing 444 of them (lol really?) is just insanity. The costume is Account Bound too so it's not like some new player could grind it our over weeks and make bank by selling it to a lazy, rich player

The words "Battle Pass" are enough to stretch my tolerance to breaking. Between that, the bots, and the excessive volume of non-content updates when the game is multiple episodes behind other servers, that's enough for me I think.

I've never received my battle pass as it was sent by rodex to one of my characters, and for a few weeks I haven't logged in.

Looked up all inventory of my account of 21 characters and couldn't find it. 

Sent a ticket to GM they say it could be restored but would it consume my one time restoration opportunity, because it was my fault not claiming it in time.

so this 'precious' item that would cost my once in a lifetime restoration just got deleted easily because I didn't get online to receive it? Sounds like a perfect idea to dispatch it by rodex.

Outside RO and into more mainstream MMOs and larger gaming communities, when evaluating how good/bad a game is, people are no longer just assessing if it's p2w or f2p-friendly. They are now starting to ask, "Does this game respect my time?". 

Maybe it's time to start asking the same thing. Like Fuyu said, the youngest of the player base of this game are working adults. Heck, some have families now and yet, some of the content released here seem like they were designed with the expectation that this game is still attracting anybody younger than millenials lol
