Ranger > Wind Hawk is one of my favorite classes to play and, since I see many questions from new players in the Discord on builds/gears to aim for, I thought I’d accumulate as much knowledge as I can in a single source. I hope to keep this updated as much as possible since the wiki pages on this class are woefully out-of-date. I don’t intend to go as in depth as Nagaame’s amazing (but outdated) “Wind Hawk Writeup” thread but maybe I'm getting there lol, however I figured I could do my part to continue on his legacy in some small way, haha. Please read through their guide for anything that isn’t present here and note that I take huge inspiration from their guide in many ways. I also referenced a lot of Cloudseeker's YT videos in my research, so shout out to him as well!
My focus here is to highlight the available and viable builds for Rangers and Wind Hawks with stats, gear with budget considerations, and skill tree recommendations when applicable to tackle both general leveling and endgame content. I’ll add in my own personal insight and experiences as flavor text to help guide those that are lost or can’t make up their mind.
Once you’ve spammed through Archer > Hunter > Sniper with “Arrow Shower” (my preferred way, but not the only way), or changing to "Focused Arrow Strike" as a Sniper, and passed the somewhat annoying Ranger Job Change (SKIP now available!), you have 2 primary ways to level until becoming a 200 Wind Hawk: “Focused Arrows Strike” (FAS) and “Arrow Storm” (AS). While most people will be drawn in to the new Ranger skill and it’s large AOE, there are too many downsides to “Arrow Storm” for a new player that we will get into later, so I strongly recommend sticking with FAS from Sniper or Ranger or even to max level Wind Hawk. Once you change into a Wind Hawk though, you have a new skill open to you: "Gale Storm", which got a rebalance to be incredibly strong to make it a very viable leveling skill from 200+, especially if you have means to reduce its pre- and post-cast times. Endgame, you can use Crescive Bolt or "Hawk Rush" for MVPs and Gale Storm/FAS for leveling and going hybrid is quite doable for this class as all its worthwhile skills are Crit-based.
Your budget will be the deciding factor, as it is with any class, but Ranger is fairly newbie friendly due to how strong FAS is for cheap. Outside of the f2p armor sets, there are also several cheap options that we’ll discuss pros and cons to for all skill builds. But trust me on this: hitting enough damage (more than what's needed for leveling to 260) is a very achievable goal, even for new players, if going with a FAS build and you can hit damage cap even using non-BIS gear; pretty nice for a Transcendent Class Skill! What's even better is that if you do want to try GS at 200+, you don't need major changes to your gear to still be viable.
SPECIAL NOTE: Using the self-buff skill, "No Limits" is imperative to leveling effective from 100-200 (and beyond depending on build), especially if you are just starting out/have a low gear budget. It gives you a +350% Ranged Damage modifier for 150 seconds, often separating being able to one-shot monsters or not. The issue is that it has a 300 second Cool Down (CD), meaning there over 2 minutes where you can't use it... unless you have specific items. There are a few ways to lower its CD (we need at least 150 seconds for 100% upkeep), so the most used ways are the following items. It's not a requirement to get these first, but it may make your leveling much simpler:
- Wolf Officer Hat: This is a must-have headgear that you will carry with you beyond 200 for the "No Limits" CD alone. Essentially, you will swap to this hat > cast No Limits > swap to main headgear > be 350% more powerful with zero downtime! Due to its other solid bonuses (such as +25% property damage, +3 DEX per refine, and -30% ACD), this can easily be used as a primary headgear from 100-170 to keep "No Limits" up as you grind before switching to the swap-out method with better headgear options.
- Prism Ranger Scarf: Gives an alright 30% Ranged damage modifier, but reduces "No Limits" CD by 180 seconds as long as it stays equipped (which means you can't gear-swap like WolfOfficer). If you can’t find/afford WolfOfficer, then you will want this for leveling the early levels. No card slot is no fun though.
- Document Archer + Dreaming Red Sheep: While DocArcher is a great grab either way, DreamingRedSheep might not be worth the spend. However, if you wear both of the pieces of equipment, your "No Limts" CS is reduced by 150 seconds which is all you need for 100% upkeep. Both offer separate CD reduction on their own as well, but not enough for 0 downtime.
---
I will list ‘best’ gear in descending order and ORANGE font what I find to be Best In Slot (BIS), but opinions may vary.
I won’t list ridiculously rare stuff or MVP Cards as options, outside of mentioning combos, but do note that I do own and use them in my BIS screenshots.

-------------------------------------------------------

This should be your bread-and-butter build from Sniper/Ranger onwards, usable even until 260 Wind Hawk if desired (and geared properly). It is one of the strongest leveling skill for the class (maybe the strongest Transcendent Class Skill in the game?) and the easiest/cheapest to build for if you are just starting out. It has negligible Cool Down (CD), Variable Casting Time (VCT) is a non-issue through higher stats and/or current gears (like Document Archer), Fixed Casting Time (FCT) is handled easily, and even for free, these days with gear, and a manageable After Cast Delay (ACD). The biggest complaint I hear about FAS is “the AOE is too small” and “I want to use new class skills” – while valid… the crazy high DPS:price ratio and damage potential, it being a Crit-based skill (means no Hit worries), current gear support, and ease-of-use will make it all worth it. Previously, you could grind to max level on a budget of under 2b, but with a recent update to buff monsters in 200+ areas, you may need to consider better gear or switching builds once Wind Hawk, but damage cap is still very achievable with the skill.
As noted, you can have a decent FAS build from 100-200 for very little budget compared to most builds and the Main Questline gives you free gear every 20ish levels until 210 that boosts FAS. Checkout the “Noblesse Sharp Suit”, for an idea of what the free sets offer, and this questline can be started as a Level 100 Ranger in “The Royal Banquet”. Other pieces, like Illusion Hunter Bow+Sparkling Stick and Ring of Silver Claw, are very cheap in today’s iRO market too and allow for solid leveling for little money while even the powerful Document Archer is an achievable cost to save up for in the early stages. The name of the game for this guide is to eliminate the 0.5s of FCT and VCT first, then boost Crit Rate high enough to critical hit consistently, and then focus on upping damage, damage, damage!
SKILL NOTES: 5x5 AOE, 11 Cell Range, 0.5s FCT, 0.5s VCT, 0.15s CD, 0.5s ACD, has a chance to Critical Hit and grants a bonus 1.5x Crit Rate just for this skill when used, consumes 1 Arrow, sometimes mistranslated as [Sharpshooting] on iRO.
STAT & TALENT POINTS:
Since Archer Classes are squishy, you’ll want to master the flywing > skill > flywing maneuver early. That allows you to focus on DPS first as a glass cannon of sorts. I recommend 90 DEX / 90 LUK / 60 VIT by 99 Sniper, then getting DEX 120 next (if zero budget) or LUK 126 first (if you already have gear like PDM, Smiling Eyes, Little Garden, etc.) and do the other next. That is then followed by 90 VIT then enough AGI to hit 190+ ASPD then rest into INT and STR as needed. For very low budget players, getting INT before VIT/AGI may be an option to help get FAS's VCT removed faster. Overall, Ranger/Wind Hawk stats are flexible enough outside of DEX/LUK, so flavor it to your taste:
- STR: 1+
- AGI: 90+
- VIT: 90+
- INT: 90+
- DEX: 120-130
- LUK: 120-126
After Level 200, you will stop receiving Stat Points and instead start building up Talent Points. These are more straightforward in distribution and since FAS does not benefit from CON in its formula, you will go 100 POW for attack power first, then 100 CRT for increasing your base Crit Damage, and finally 35 CON for extra damage as your goal:
- 100 POW > 100 CRT > 35 CON
GEAR & CARDS & ENCHANTS:
Upper Headgear:
- Old Camouflage Bunny Hood: Lvl170 requirement. An OG but with the combo for the new DocArcher, this shines once again! The two together were stronger than even KielSucc+FWQS somehow. Downsides are its Base Level requirement and the gear is Account-Bound… but the upside is how cheap/farmable it is, how strong it is with the new accessory, how it’s only a Level 1 Armor for easy refine, and how it is enchantable with Acute for huge critical damage boost (+80% guaranteed). Currently best in slot for these reasons. This guide will explain how to make/enchant one: https://irowiki.org/...Headgear_Quests
- Kiel Successor Doll: This is a beast of a headgear: At +14A, it gives +10 ASPD (!!), +590 ATK, +15 P.ATK, +63% ranged mod, +70 to all Stats, +15 POW (+8 all other Talents), +20% HP/SP, -25% ACD, -0.5s FCT, ignores 50% DEF, and is indestructible! On top of those crazy stats, it also has a 7% chance to cast Mega Sonic Blow/Spiral Pierce/Double Bolwing Bash Lv.10 when auto-attacking (which makes me want to play auto-attack build again), and all this is before considering the Kiel+Sealed MVP Card combos or loyal Aliot pet. This is going to be an easy BIS headgear option for any Ranged Physical class right now... except somehow OldCamoBunny+DocArcher beat it in DPS for FAS lol.
- Future Yoyo King Hat: Another beast of a headgear: At +14A, it gives +10 ASPD (!!), +590 ATK, +15 P.ATK, +63% size mod, +70 to all Stats, +15 POW (+8 all other Talents), +20% HP/SP, -25% ACD, -0.5s FCT, ignores 50% DEF, and is indestructible! On top of those crazy stats, it also has a 7% chance to cast Mega Sonic Blow/Spiral Pierce/Double Bolwing Bash Lv.10 when auto-attacking (which makes me want to play auto-attack build again), and all this is before considering the Lady Tanee MVP Card combo or loyal Yoyo pet. This is going to be an easy BIS headgear option for any Physical class right now... except somehow OldCamoBunny+DocArcher beat it in DPS for FAS lol. Also worth noting that since it shares a damage modifier with the new Follower Masks, this may not make as much of a splash as it once did.
- Boitata Cap: While this won't shine as much as the above, it does still offer decent buffs as most Level 2 Armors do and the main draw for this gear is that it allows you to both use "Enchant Poison Lv5" and "Venom Impression Lv5" to make your attacks poison attribute while making a monster take more damage from poison attacks. This is really for 1v1 MVP hunting rather than leveling, but worth a mention! At +14A, you get +35 STR/DEX/LUK, +15 POW, +50 ATK, +55% ranged mod, +70% size mod, +95% crit damage, +30 crit rate, +50 P.HIT, -15% VCT/ACD, and -0.3s FCT.
- Robotic Valkyrie Hairband: This is a cheaper option for an all-rounder, generalist upper (at least for Ranged classes) with a slot! Does require an expensive +14A refine, but then provides +300 ATK, +10 Stats, +7 POW, +105% Ranged Damage (dang!), +40% HP/SP, -40% ACD, and -0.5s FCT (which covers FAS requirements). Even if it was made for Meisters, it is a strong upper for any ranged class without specialty headgear. With a pretty cheap card combo, you can also get an additional +15 CON and -20% ACD too
- Thanatos Shooter Helmet-LT: Lvl190 requirement. When combo’d with the ThanatosBow-AD, the ThanaFollowerMask, and both Memento accessories, this is a strong contender for low budget BIS… if OldCamoBunny didn’t exist. +11 yields some nice damage buffs and -0.2s FCT, and it gets even better when you can afford to Grade it plus the weapon AND enchant it for additional FAS+Crit damage: https://iro.ragnarok...il.aspx?id=1702. You can reform the basic Thanatos Shooter Helmet to this version in Lighthalzen: https://irowiki.org/wiki/Item_Reform
- Snake Queen Crown: Lvl130 requirement. Absurdly cheap headgear (due to market saturation) that offers POW+CON, lots of damage mods, and if you can refine it to +13 you get a solid -0.5s FCT (which might push this up on the list based on your other gear). If you can get some of the combo cards in your gears for cheap, it adds even more damage value but still didn't hit as high as the options above or even below. Accessibility is what pushes this higher on the list.
- Cute Marin Hat: Lvl200 requirement. An unexpected choice but at just +11, this hat offers a lot of POW (+18 and then +1 per refine), +40% class damage mod, +150 ATK, -20% ACD, and 20% damage reduction from all monsters. A strong and cheap option if you have FCT reduction elsewhere and if the above is out of budget.
- Disciple of Bijou: Putting under the above options due to no Card Slot, expensive to grade, and damage was barely better. Base item should be cheap, but expensive to grade, and is available right as you change to Mechanic. This is a common option for sharing across physical builds that don't have specialized headgear, don’t want/need the card slot, or just need something at Base Level 100 until other gear unlocks.
- Wolf Officer Hat: While not FAS-specific, and weaker than some options below, this is a must-have headgear that you will carry with you beyond 200 for the "No Limits" CD alone. Essentially, you will swap to this hat > cast No Limits > swap to main headgear > be 350% more powerful with zero downtime! Due to its other solid bonuses (such as +25% property damage, +3 DEX per refine, and -30% ACD), this can easily be used from 100-170 to keep NL up 100% as you grind.
- Biolab Virgo Diadem: Lvl170 requirement. Gives some decent buffs but gets much stronger with SharpStar (especially if the bow is enchanted). OldCamoBunny outclasses it with DocArcher in every way at this level though.
- Awaking Bloom: A solid generalist upper giving 40% property damage mod, 24% ACD reduction, and other nice buffs at +12.
- Striking Hat: A Level 1 Armor that’s part of a 5-piece set (we’ll only be able to use 4 though) for some solid benefits. Each piece combos with each other piece in different ways, so you’ll want to research them yourself, but there’s some decent damage/ACD reduction/P.HIT/HP buffs you can reach here. The hat alone gives +5 DEX/AGI, +10% ASPD, +2 HIT and -2% ACD reduction per refine, and at +9 gives +50% P.HIT and +25% Ranged Damage.
- Circlet of Time(Ranger): Another craftable Lvl170 requirement headgear that is pretty mediocre in comparison to the OldCamoBunny combo. For max FAS benefits, you need it to be +11, combo’d with Black Eagle Ring, and randomly enchanted with ‘Temporal Jewel (LUK) Lv3’… Not worth the effort, zeny, or gear slots.
- Catherina Von Blood: This used to be a necessary staple for early levels until the better iterations for mid+lower came out, but that just means this is very cheap nowadays. Could easily be used from 100-150 (when the damage needs increase and NL can’t carry you anymore) for infinite leech.
Middle Headgear:
- Smiling Eyes: Lots of ATK, damage mods, Crit Rate, and even flat ASPD bonuses at 120 LUK makes this BIS for mid (unless you have Pharaoh MVP Card or are using ThanaBow-AD). Slotted for your pleasure as well!
- Thanatos Follower Mask: On it's own, this is pretty strong giving +10 Stats, +100 ATK, +10% size mod, and having a card slot that can worn at Lv1. But when paired with ThanaBow-AD, this is an impressive option and BIS contender for lower budget builds that can't afford the more expensive Bows. Its combo gives +10% size mod per refine level of the bow (an easy 110% with proper Bow Reform) and +10 Stats/Talents. Considering how cheap this is, and how cheap/farmable the Bow can be, this should be considered if you are just starting out.
- Ancient Morroc Noble Jewelry: Slotted mid that requires a little bit different stat-build (due to how the gear works), but adds lots of ATK and gives damage+ACD benefits with a cheap and useful Marduk Card. This becomes a BIS option for the damage and ACD reduction if you have a Pharaoh MVP Card slotted + Marduk Card slotted in upper headgear (for both combos).
- Poenitentia/Hero/OS Follower Mask: Overall strong options available at Lv1. PoeniMask gives better benefits but is also far more expensive, and Hero or OS match ThanaMask but combo with their respective weapons. If you happen to have or use one of the weapons that combo with any of these masks, that will be your BIS most likely... but none of these 3 really sync well with this build.
- Little Garden: Solid ATK+Crit Damage bonuses and should be cheap. No Card Slot though.
- Cherub Coronet: Only viable if you decide on 120 INT into your build, but offers huge ATK bonuses, status resistances, and more. Also is slotted and INT is nice for SP management too. While it gives more flat ATK than CrowTengu, the other bonuses that gear offers might make it a stronger choice but with less stat synergy.
- Divine Protect Shield: Offers great +10% HP/SP and DEF/MDEF bonuses that increase as you raise your VIT, as well as a small regen effect and Confusion/Hallucination status protection, but its main benefit comes from the -0.5sec FCT when you have 90 base VIT. This could be an affordable way to cover your FAS casting requirements, but lower on the list due to how many options you have these days.
- Crow Tengu Mask: Only viable if you somehow sneak 120 STR into your build, but offers solid ATK bonuses, damage mods, ACD reduction, as well as a chance for HP/SP leech. Considering free leech is limited with this class, it might be worth it to some people. Also is slotted and STR is nice for carrying all those arrows as well. **NOTE: For some reason, WP named this exactly the same as an older item so make sure you are looking for the one with the card slot.**
- Vampire Von Blood: Small damage boost but gives big HP/SP buffs, leeches HP upon kills, is slotted, and gives nice damage reduction if paired with Bat Von Blood. Nice for early levels!
- Heavenly Order: Very cheap option that synergizes well with this build, especially if using a PDM due to buffs at same intervals. It gives small boosts to several various things for every 18 Stat Points in any category. The nice benefit with this build is the +15 ATK/+20 DEF every 18 LUK. Also enables the skill: "Item Appraisal" which can be quite nice actually.
- New Wave Sunglasses: Slotted version preferred. Not worth it on its own, but with GhostFire (see lower headgear) and some Talents, this can be an alright option.
Lower Headgear:
- Bat Von Blood: BIS for leveling. Amazing lower giving +100 ATK, HP/SP leech, +15% EXP buff, and grants the ability to use the "Greed" skill. Not as much total DPS as the other items, but a worthy contender to use even until 260 considering the need for EXP at higher levels.
- Cosmic Star Blessing: Current BIS lower in terms of power, giving scaling damage with Base Level and +10 Stat/Talent boosts. It also combos with enchants on the current BIS armor, but getting a Star Cluster to Lv.3 is so time consuming or expensive, it may as well not be counted outside of the extremely wealthy.
- Kankrai (Scissors): On its own, it offers +5% physical mod, -15% ACD, and a solid 60% DEF bypass! However, if you slot in a Shard of Agility Jewel to a headgear slot, you now have the cheapest way/least interfering (~180m at time of writing this) for 100% DEF bypass! Could also toss a Shard of Fatality Jewel into your mid-slot for more bonuses. It does take up a competitive spot in your gear though, as BVB and TGM are often desired. The gear and jewel can both be purchased with 70 and 10 Kachua Coupons respectively here: https://irowiki.org/..._Mileage_Coupon
- True Gangster Mask: BIS for loot farming. Amazing lower giving +200 ATK, +20 MDEF, +10 Stats, +15% Drop Rate buff, and grants the ability to use the "Greed" and "Lv10 Overcharge" skill. Not as much total DPS as the other items, but a worthy contender to use when farming loot or hunting Cards.
- Dreaming Red Sheep: Caps at 15% size damage modifier, but also gives 15% ACD reduction and "No Limits" CD too. When paired with DocArcher, which is BIS for this build, you can achieve full NL CD reduction making this a desirable option with ever-high WolfOfficer prices.
- Constellation Orb: Scaling damage with Base Level and +7 Stat/Talent boosts. Is quite cheap after CSB released.
- Frosty Breath: Scaling damage with Base Level as well as Stat and HP boosts, can combo strong with Lvl210 f2p Snow Flower gear, and is fairly cheap these days.
- Grey Wolf Cub in Mouth: Scaling damage with Base Level as well as Stat and HP boosts, can combo strong with Lvl180 f2p Gray Wolf gear, and is fairly cheap these days.
- Khon (Rock): Solid +15% physical mod and -7% ACD on its own. However, if you slot in a Shard of Dexterity Jewel to a headgear slot, you get +120 ATK and +3% ranged mod per 2 refines and +5% ATK every 5 refines. Could also toss a Shard of Strength Jewel into your mid-slot for more bonuses. It does take up a competitive spot in your gear though, as BVB and TGM are often desired. The gear and jewel can both be purchased with 70 and 10 Kachua Coupons respectively here: https://irowiki.org/..._Mileage_Coupon
- Loyal Servant of Morroc: Worthless by itself, but with Darklord Essence Concentration 3 + the 2 Demon God’s Apostle Cards, it’s a decent contender for BIS. It becomes a BIS option only with that combo + Despair God Morroc MVP Card. I’d say it loses to above options due to having so many slots taken to be better (and the Luck Essence isn’t good).
- Tyrant of Earth / Old Camo Scarf: Scaling damage with Base Level, very cheap.
- Biosphere Scarf: Incredibly cheap (at time of writing this) way to get +20% HP/SP, +100 ATK, and +1% size mod damage per 15 Base Levels. Best part is that it can be worn from Base Level 1! If you can't get a BVB, grab this for the early levels at least.
- Ghost Fire: Provides small VCT, ACD, and FCT reductions on its own but, when combo’d with New Wave Sunglasses and Talents, it can add some solid damage buffs. 90 POW = +35% race mod, 90 STA = +110 ATK, 90 CON = +20% ATK, and getting CRT removes up to 0.3s FCT if needed. I could see how this might be a min-maxer’s BIS lower but SmilingEyes+any of the above synergizes much easier and earlier…
- Love Piece: Until you get 100% VCT and FCT reduction, FAS can be interrupted so using this will prevent that at the cost of your skills costing 15% more SP.
- * Sparkling Stick: Only to be used with IllusionHunterBow to unlock its full potential for a FAS/Crit build, but it is a pretty nice boost for low budget players. Can be purchased for cheap from Cash Shop directly or from players.
Headgear Cards:
- [S2] Vellgunde Resonance (Melee) Lv2: < NOTE: This is both from the limited "Battle Pass S2" event in 2025/2026 and may not always exist or function as a card in future update! > Even though it says "Melee", this will give +10 POW and +20% race modifier, making it unbeatable by any other option here. Getting this yourself may be a pain, but since it is so farmed right now you can often buy for cheaper than some Cards (but will need to go through a decarding process due to the item itself not being tradable itself).
- Abysmal King Dramoh: Gives ATK% based on refine at the cost of -5% HP, but true benefit lies with the AbysMerman combo for +15% Crit Damage.
- Limacina Card: Gives +1 P.ATK, +5% Ranged mod, and -5% VCT at the costs of skills using 7% more SP. Gets additional +10% ATK with HeartHunterAT Card too.
- Marduk Card: Mainly for the combo with AMNJ, but having Silence protection is great since you won’t be adding in INT to start. Can’t kill if you can’t FAS!
- Purple Ferus: Gives ATK% based on refine at the cost of HP+SP%.
- Evil Nymph Card: Small SP bonuses on its own, but if combo’d with SnakeQueenCrown, add +3 POW/CON and +4% Ranged Damage modifier per 3 refines.
- King Dramoh: Useless without AbysDramoh, but when combo’d in a mid-slot you’ll get +6 STR and +15% HP. Typically my mid-card of choice.
- Denied Poring: Since mid-headgear cards are mostly mediocre, why not grab +10% HP?
- Darklord Essence Concentration 3: < NOTE: Once you slot this essence into a piece of gear it is PERMANENTLY LOCKED INTO IT. Be cautious until iRO allows for it to be deslotted someday (if ever).> Not a “card”, but it slots into a gear’s card slot. This is only useful with Loyal Servant lower though and I would recommend slotting it into a mid-headgear if using one.
Body:
- Abyss Lake Roaring Armor-LT: Lvl200 requirement. Expensive to reform, refine, and grade but with Legendary Dragon Shoes + Star Cluster enchants, it’s undeniably BIS. Still strong without shoes+enchants, but may not be worth the cost compared to the following options for some peoples’ budgets as some Meteorite Fragments run very expensive. At +14A, you get +12 Stats, +8 POW/CON, +15% HP/SP, +312 ATK (at 260), +40% ATK, +20% Ranged Damage, +30% size mod vs Medium/Large, +12% property mod, +15% race mod, -15% ACD, and -0.3 FCT (which nearly covers GS requirements). Enchanting this is where it really shines but is expensive and completely random RNG, so it can be frustrating, but yields huge returns with the CON Star Cluster. Ideal enchants would be Rune of Luck/Dexterity or +5 LUK/DEX in Slot 4, Nebula Sharp or E. Archer in Slot 3, and Star Cluster CON in Slot 2. Learn more here: https://renewal.play...spx?id=1841&p=1
- Kiel Academy Uniform: Expensive to reform, refine, and grade but offers some very strong benefits at +14A: +350 ATK, +19 POW/CON, +60 STR/DEX, +25 AGI/VIT/INT/LUK, +115% Ranged Damage, -30% ACD, -30% size and ranged damage taken. You can get another +30% Ranged Damage with a cheap Alicel Card too. If you have a Kiel-D-01 MVP Card, you get even more benefits and the ability to cast "Active Attack Device"... which is a shame this wasn't part of the armor without the card combo. If enchanting Abyss-LT looks too out of budget, this might be a more price-friendly investment.
- Rest in Peace: Expensive to grade but gives a lot of ATK/POW/HP/SP/FCT reduction and more. Solid 2nd place contender, especially with Lord of the Dead MVP Card, but even its other card combo gives nice benefits. Also gives -0.3 FCT which helps for FAS and "Hallucination Walk" is fun to get too. Since it gives both Physical and Magical benefits, this is an amazing 'Generalist Armor' if you want to share among other characters.
- Screaming Ghost Party: Gives lots of damage buffs at +13 for a Level 1 Armor, especially flat ATK which works nicely with the No Limits formula. Great ‘Generalist Armor’ so it and can be shared with both physical and magical classes too.
- Assault Suit: While not as strong as the options above, it’s still pretty nice for the price! 70% race damage modifier, 30 DEX, 250 ATK, and more is nothing to sneeze at.
- Abyss Lake Roaring Armor: Lvl130 requirement. A solid and cheap Level 1 Armor that gives plenty of damage buffs and can be reformed into the BIS choice later on. At +13, you get +15% HP/SP, +10 Stats, +10 MDEF, +10 ATK per 10 Base Levels, +2 ATK% per 2 refines, +1 POW/CON per 3 refines, +15% Ranged mod, +25% size mod vs medium/large enemies, -15% ACD. Can be bought with Kachua Mileage Coupons: https://irowiki.org/..._Mileage_Coupon
- Crimson Suit: A Strong Level 1 Armor that can be worn from Lv1, it offers lots of benefits (especially at +12): +6000 HP, +1200 SP, +280 ATK, +10 Stats, +20% size mod, Red Potions heal +1000% more, +7% EXP/Drop Rate, and enables the "Crazy Roar" skill. When using this new skill, you also gain +20 Stats, +50 FLEE/HIT, and Perfect Dodge +5. If you are also wielding a CrimsonBow, you get a bonus +10 Talents and +150 ATK.
- Mighty Black Threaded Armor: +80 ATK and 70% DEF Penetration at +9. Cheap way to get penetration for your build at the loss of other damage.
- White Wing Suit: Only minor Ranged Damage mods on its own, but with GrayWingBoots you can get some solid crit+FAS mods for very cheap! See the Shoes section for more details.
- Striking Mail: A Level 1 Armor that’s part of a 5-piece set (we’ll only be able to use 4 though) for some solid benefits. Each piece combos with each other piece in different ways, so you’ll want to research them yourself, but there’s some decent damage/ACD reduction/P.HIT/HP buffs you can reach here. The armor alone only gives +10 Stats but some nice HP buffs with the garment.
- Evil Dragon Armor: Offers no damage buffs, but at +10 this is a solid option for HP/SP leech, offering 6% chance to leech 6% of your damage as HP/SP. Certainly helps if healing consumables are out of your budget.
- Noblesse Sharp/Imperial Sharp/Grace Sharp/Gray Wolf/Snow Flower Suit: The armor for the Free-2-Play (f2p) gearsets that unlock every 20 levels or so. Even if you have no budget you can still gear up your build decently, but recent updates have made f2p gear less viable in the 200+ areas without heavy grind for enchants.
Body Cards:
- Heart Hunter AT Card: Gives +1 P.ATK and +4% Ranged mod per 3 refine levels at the costs of skills using 7% more SP. Gets additional +10% ATK with Limacina Card too. On +12 Armor, I prefer this over Dame combo for similar Ranged mod with A-jiGeffenCard or Crit damage mods with GalensisCard but also bonus P.ATK/CRIT. Also combos with the Hunter'sLocket accessory for nice results.
- Dame of Sentinel Card: Nothing special from 100-200 outside of some small DEX bonuses, but becomes much stronger at 200+ when combo’d with Empathizer Card and 120 DEX. Totaling +55% Ranged modifier at the cost of 2 slots is a great option.
- Angry Nine Tail Card: Solid 10% Crit Damage with +15 Crit Rate at +10. With so much LR modifiers from DivineGandiva and "No Limits", this might yield better damage results than the above for the 100-200 grind.
- Restless Dead Card: Small ATK bonus but makes weapon+armor indestructible in battle, which is nice in some leveling areas. Shines a bit more if using RIP.
- Polluted Raydric Card: Gives 5% ATK bonus (but probably the crappy kind).
Weapon:
- Divine Bow Gandiva: Level 5 Weapon. The top dog that even though this is pricey to get, expensive to grade, gives no FAS buffs, minimal Crit Damage, and usually too much of 1 mod type is a bad thing… the stupid amount of Ranged Physical Damage this things gives (I mean, +10% per refine on top of +60% is nuts), plus all the ATK/P.ATK/Talents/Stats/Damage Reduction when fully graded, makes it the BIS without question. The Fire/Holy Arrow combo for +50% Ranged damage is just icing on top.
- Thanatos Bow-AD: Lvl190 requirement, Level 5 Weapon. Expensive to grade but combos strong with ThanaShooterHelm-LT and its enchantments and the new ThanaFollowerMask for a wild +10% size mod per refine level! That alone makes this the lower budget BIS choice. With a base of 230 ATK, it gets +10 ATK per 2 refine, +5% FAS per 3 refine & +10% FAS mod, +15% Crit/Ranged/size damage mods and more at +11 (and even more when graded). If going hybrid with a Crescive Bolt build, this would also be a BIS option due to its synergy there. The bow can (and should) also be enchanted with crit/ranged mods and the ability to ignore Size Penalty as bows suffer damage loss from Large Monsters. < NOTE: Thanatos Bow must be enchanted BEFORE reforming it to AD version! You can farm the materials to craft and enchant your own Thanatos Bow here: https://irowiki.org/wiki/Ghost_Palace >
- Awakened Royal Bow/Royal Bow-LT: Lvl150 requirement, Level 4 Weapon and Lvl190 requirement, Level 5 Weapon respectively. Awakened is a solid bow that can easily tide you over to 200 (and maybe beyond) if +11 with decent cards. LT is more expensive to reform and grade, and doesn't offer a lot for FAS, but the new HeroFollowerMask makes this a worthy weapon now.
- Illusion Hunter Bow: Lvl120 requirement. Very cheap bow that has decent damage buffs and also gives Crit Rate per refine (nice for those early levels). +9 or higher with the SparklingStick lower really allows this to shine since you get plenty of Crit Damage bonuses and a +50% ranged damage boost when using Hunter Arrows! With some decent cards and good gear, you could use this to 180 or beyond without issue and is great choice for truly minimum budget players.
- Sharp Star: Lvl170 requirement. Hard to recommend this as the enchant, 'Cecil's Memory', is either a random chance or an expensive/time consuming process to obtain the mats. However, if you do get it and pair it with VirgoDiadem, it can yield some solid numbers. At +12 with full combo you get +52% Crit damage, +158% FAS damage, +22% LR damage, +10% size damage, and more. Since it is useless without the headgear, and only OK without the pricey enchant, you can skip this for any option above as OldCamoBunny+DocArcher is too good.
- Virtual Bow-OSAD: Lvl170 requirement, Level 5 Weapon. Not worth it solo and only a contender for its lower Base Level requirement and combo with OSFollowerMask since it and its reform materials can be farmed.
- Thanatos Bow: Lvl120 requirement. Nothing too special in terms of damage, but offers a 5% chance to leech 5% of your damage as HP/SP at the cost of losing 100 HP every 10 seconds. This could be a budget leech option but only worth using if planning to enchant (see AD version above for how) and reform it later.
- Elven Bow: Super cheap option for 100-120 that has a +50% LR mod bonus when using Elven Arrows. Basically a strict upgrade from HunterBow for more ATK and having a slot.
- Hunter Bow: Although you shouldn't still be using this, the +50% LR mod bonus when using Hunter Arrows can keep it viable until you hit 120 and buy/change it into an IllusionHunterBow.
- Gigantic Bow: Lvl130 requirement. If you really can't find or afford anything else (HunterBow can be bought in Payon from the NPC lol), this does have a slot and provides a +40% LR mod bonus with any arrow at the cost of +15% ACD (bad) and -50 HIT (bad).
- Crimson Bow: Decently refined, this cheap as hell option can help bridge the 100-120 gap until better bows if you didn’t grab the f2p EdenBow or used a HunterBow+HunterArrows pre-100. With the new Crimson Suit armor, this bumps up above GiganticBow at least in worth, especially if refined really high and because it might be what you've already been using since Base Level 70.
Weapon Cards:
- Polluted Wander Man Card: +30% medium+large size damage. Save these on your endgame bow since they can be quite expensive.
- Brutal Murderer Card: Great option for low budgets and good to pair with GanCeannCard to have a better version of 2x WhiteKnightCards once 200+. ATK +15 and +15% vs medium monsters is great for its price and even better, at 200+ you get an extra +25% vs medium monsters. If focused on just medium-sized monsters, you can use another weapon slot for a BloodyMurdererCard for a further +30% vs only medium monsters.
- Gan Ceann Card: Great option for low budgets and good to pair with BrutalMurdererCard to have a better version of 2x WhiteKnightCards once 200+. ATK +15 and +15% vs large monsters is great for its price and even better, at 200+ you get an extra +25% vs large monster. If focused on just large-sized monsters, you can use another weapon slot for a DullahanCard for a further +30% vs only large monsters.
- Kobold Archer/Goblin Archer Card: Useless on their own but when wearing AncientRangerShoes, both cards offer a cheap way to get +75 ATK and +20% LR damage which isn’t too shabby if other options are out of budget!
- Resentful Soldier Card: Has a chance to cast Lv5 "Double Strafe" when auto-attacking but, more importantly, if placed on a +10 or higher bow, grants +20% LR (card unclear?) damage. Also can proc an ASPD buff if combo'd with ArcherSkeletonCard.
- The Paper Card: +20% Crit Damage at the cost of draining 1 SP per attack/skill use. If you have tons of Crit Damage mods this is only viable if it’s really cheap (which it is from Events) and if small SP drain isn't an issue.
- Aunoe Card: +20% Crit Damage. If you have tons of Crit Damage mods this is only viable if it’s really cheap (which I don’t think it is right now).
- Powerful Archer Skeleton Card: Solid 12% Ranged damage on its own, but used when wearing DiscipleBijou you gain another +15% Ranged damage. However, due to this card’s combos with other very desirable gear… it’s quite expensive.
- White Knight Card: +20% medium+large size damage. Considering the current price vs BrutalMurderer and GanCeann, it's hard to justify these anymore even before 200. More so with the new Follower Mask combos.
- Luke and Alberta Card: +10% all size damage. Usually pretty cheap.
- Archer Skeleton Card: The OG card for ranged classes. +10% LR mod is always nice (and cheap) if budget is tight.
- Zipper Bear Card: Hey, +30 ATK is better than absolutely nothing (as long as it’s on a disposable weapon and you get it for free/cheap)!
Garment:
- Juncea Follower Wings: This gear is unreal and nothing else comes close for almost every build. At +14A, you get +20% HP/SP, +20 Stats, +8 POW/CON & +4 POW/CON per 3 refines, +10 MDEF, +80 ATK & +30 ATK every 10 Base Levels, +90% property mod & +8% property mod per 2 refines, -30% ACD, +30% race mod, and -0.7sec FCT. If you can get it to +15, that's another +40% property mod. With EntanIntermRganCard, another +3 POW/CON, +5 C.RATE, and +15% Crit damage mod. It will surely get more expensive as it leaves its Kachua run and may stay top-of-the-line unless some other delulu gear comes out in the near future.
- Royal Prontera Cape: Despite being the first Royal Cape released, it is still a strong BIS for FAS Rangers/Wind Hawks due to Ranged+Crit Damage mods, Crit Rate+CRT+C.RATE (confusing, I know) buffs, and huge amount of other benefits the Royal Capes offer. Base item is very cheap now too, but grading it to at least +14B can be pricey yet is worth it (this also unlocks Shield Spell with shield-swapping for either HP or SP regen or a nice ATK buff).
- Royal Payon/Nightwatch/Dragon Cape: Might fall short of damage compared to Prontera Cape, but still very solid and offers similar benefits as the other Capes. Same downsides apply, but if you are going with a hybrid Crescive Bolt/Gale Strorm/Hawk Rush build, this cape becomes a better option due to the CON modifiers and natural combos with AbysMerman/PurepleFerus/Cowraiders Cards.
- Yoichi’s Muffler: Gives an insane amount of FAS mod that scales with Base Level, as well as other nice benefits. Also is a Level 1 Armor so easy to refine! Only downside is its price might hover in higher ranges due to no reprints and it being a bit rare. Placing it as a low budget BIS for how much power you get with little effort if you can grab one.
- Will of Ingrid: At +14A, this gives a ton of damage mods, POW/PATK/ATK/stats and even enough FCT reduction for FAS. Considering you may have tons of Crit mods or tons of LR mods (like from Gandiva), this could edge out some the Royal Capes. It's also versatile for many physical builds, so worth looking into if you can afford to refine/grade it! Even if you can't, at +0 it still offers a +30% size modifier.
- Royal Alberta/Moscovia/Morroc Cape: The Royal Capes are always good options for all the benefits they give, so if you have one of these from another class then they will be useful for the general damage mods at least.
- Kiel Hyre’s Darkness: Lvl200 requirement. A strong Level 1 Armor option that, at +13, offers +15 POW/CON, +60 ATK, +20% ATK, +20% size mod, and +15% property mod. It does offer a penalty of +50% SP consumption per skill though. If you somehow have both the Kiel MVP Card + Sealed Kiel Card, you’ll get another +15 P.ATK, -30% ACD, and a +32% vs boss monster modifier.
- Arabian Manteau: Great Level 1 Armor option if you have low Crit Rate and not many Crit Damage mods. At +11, you get +110% Crit damage, +65 Crit Rate, and +10% HP.
- Valkyrie Curse Blight: A cheap Level 1 Armor that, at +11, grants +25% property damage, +10 Stats, +22% HP/SP, Knockback Immunity, and a tiny HP/SP leech. If you can get to +13, you also get -20% ACD as well.
- Divine Phoenix: Another cheap Level 1 Armor option. At just +9, you get +25% property damage, +10 Stats, +18% HP/SP, and a 5% HP leech chance.
- Striking Mikoshi: A Level 1 Armor that’s part of a 5-piece set (we’ll only be able to use 4 though) for some solid benefits. Each piece combos with each other piece in different ways, so you’ll want to research them yourself, but there’s some decent damage/ACD reduction/P.HIT/HP buffs you can reach here. The garment alone gives -1% ACD reduction and +2% class damage mod per refine, as well as +10% ASPD, +25 P.HIT, +50 ATK, and +50 Flee.
- Avareco: Yet another cheap Level 1 Armor option. At just +9, you get +20% HP, +20% size mod, and a tiny SP leech.
- Prism Ranger Scarf: Gives an alright 30% LR mod but its main reason for being on this list is an alternative option to get the full CD reduction for No Limits. If you can’t find/afford Wolf Officer then you will want this for leveling the early levels. No card slot means no Galensis though.
- Noblesse Attack/Imperial Attack/Grace Attack/Gray Wolf/Snow Flower Manteau: The armor for the Free-2-Play (f2p) gearsets that unlock every 20 levels or so. Even if you have no budget you can still gear up your build decently, but recent updates have made f2p gear less viable in the 200+ areas without heavy grind for enchants.
Garment Cards:
- Galensis Card: Will need 125 LUK for +24 Crit Rate and +30% Crit Damage, but this will still probably be the best card for Wind Hawk Crit-builds with current BIS gear. Get this as early as you can to ensure you crit more and crit stronger when hitting the requirements. Also this card is cheap as all hell due to over-farming.
- A-Ji and Geffen Card: Similar to above, at 125 LUK you get +18 Crit Rate but +30% Long Ranged mod instead. Due to how much LR you probably have (from No Limits and/or DivineGandiva), this will typically yield lesser results and is more expensive to boot.
- Empathizer Card: Only a 10% buff from 100-200, but easily becomes much stronger 200+ with its 55% LR buff when combo’d with the proper armor card. Since said Armor Card is mediocre, and you will alreayd have plenty of LR mod, I prefer the cards above.
- Treasure Mimic Card: Only +5 Crit Rate and +30 FLEE on its own, but if running Ceres-LT with AncientMimicCard, this becomes part of an interesting combo: Adds +2% Crit Damage per refine of garment + with VoidMimicCard adds another +15% Crit Damage. While losing out on some Crit Rate, this will out-damage the above options (assuming +10 or higher) with little slot usage you aren’t already using for the cards.
- Petal Card: Gives 24% Crit Damage at 120 LUK. Solid option if not going 125 LUK.
- Kavach Icarus Card: Useless on its own, but if you're using IcarusGloves for an accessory, this gives +10 DEX/AGI and +30% Ranged Damage.
- Ancient Stone Shooter: At 120 LUK, gives 17% Crit Damage and +12% ASPD.
- Kung Fu Panda Card: Solid +100 ATK as well as scaling HP/SP/DEF/MDEF per 10 Base Levels. The DEF/MDEF make this card more valuable for strong instance MVPs however.
Shoes:
- Legendary Dragon Shoes: Expensive to grade but with Abyss-LT + enchants, it’s undeniably BIS at +14A. Alone it offers +15% HP/SP, +330 ATK, +75% size mod, +30% property mod, POW+15, +15 P.ATK, -15% property damage, -15% ACD, -1s FCT. With the armor combo, you get an additional +200 ATK, +20% property damage, +25% vs bosses mod, and a 5% chance to get +150 STR/DEX/LUK for 20 seconds. Very strong without armor+enchants, but may not be affordable compared to the following options for some peoples’ budgets. Besides the crazy damage buffs, at +13A it also gives an entire -1s FCT which covers all needed for FAS in a single item!
- Pantheon Boots: An amazing alternative to LDS (if cheaper) for almost as much damage output (compared to the no armor combo). The benefits aren't too different from LDS honestly, still offering huge buffs for the slot, but it does offer some better damage reduction for hard MVPs and can proc the Stats Buff without a gear combo at +14A. Only offers -0.5s FCT reduction though, but that's all FAS needs anyway. Expensive option with the usual pricey grading required, and is an even better option if going hybrid-Crescive Bolt for the armor combo.
- Kshatra Vairya: An extremely powerful Level 1 Armor shoe. At +13, you get +40% class mod, +15% size mod, +40% HP, -40% ACD, +39 to all stats, and a chance to proc even MORE buffs for 10 seconds. The only reason this didn't rate higher is the missing FCT reduction and no Talent buffs, but it's a very strong option.
- Demon Hunter Shoes: A very expensive Level 1 Armor shoe that, if you can get to +14, offers 40% class damage mod,+98% HP buff, and the Occult Impaction penetration effect (essentially it does more damage the higher the target’s defense). This allows you to not need any DEF Penetration gear but I find the synergy of benefits from other shoes usually feels better, especially the new BIS armor+shoes combo, and you do not get any FCT reduction from these either. I’ll place it as a top contender only due to the crazy DEF of endgame stuff.
- Ancient Ranger Shoes: Expensive to grade but all the Ancient shoes are great options and reduce FCT by 0.5s or more to allow for a spammable FAS! I put this one above the rest for the potential “Archer” class bonuses and for how the CON benefits "Crescive Bolt", "Gale Storm", and "Hawk Rush" if going hybrid. It also gives increased movement speed, unlike the BIS options, which is a nice QoL thing.
- Flush Sandals: You don't benefit from any gear combos but this shoe can be worn at Base Level 1 for some insane benefits. At +13A, you'd net +200 ATK, +15 P.ATK, +33 POW, +17 all other Talents, +105% HP/SP, -20% all property damage, -20% ACD, increased movement speed, +20% class mod, and -0.3s FCT. Considering their price currently, these are pretty dang good but grading can be expensive as usual.
- Muqaddas Shoes: Same as the sandals above, but a little less POW for some reason. No combos for Wind Hawk skills here either.
- Ancient Knight/Mechanic Shoes/Sky Emperor: Similar to Ranger Shoes but placed these lower as it provides less benefits to Archer-class. Knight version is slightly preferred over Mechanic/Sky as it does get a crazy huge +50% HP bonus at Grade A plus other benefits with RIP or cards you might be using already.
- Noblesse Attack/Imperial Attack/Grace Attack/Gray Wolf/Snow Flower Boots: The armor for the Free-2-Play (f2p) gearsets that unlock every 20 levels or so. Even if you have no budget you can still gear up your build decently, but recent updates have made f2p gear less viable in the 200+ areas without heavy grind for enchants. Nice bonus is each of these shoes gives that required -0.5s FCT for quick spamming of FAS. If you can’t afford other options, this is the top contender for a low or no budget build.
- Kenzen Ichinyo: Lvl200 requirement. At +13, you get +40% ATK, -40% ACD, +20 Crit Rate, and +30% Crit Damage. Not too shabby for a cheap Level 1 Armor shoe, but lacks that easy FCT reduction.
- Sniping Shoes: No Card Slot but it is a very strong Level 1 Armor shoe for this class with the proper skills learned. +10% LR mod, +15% size mod, +25% Crit damage, -40% ACD, +20% HP/SP, +10 Stats plus the added bonus of removing the Size Penalty from your bow. Might outclass Kenzen if you don't have a good Card to use in this slot. However, no FCT reduction hurts this shoe unless you have it from another source. A great damage option for low budget, assuming prices stay reasonable.
- Temporal DEX Boots: Only viable as a cheap option with 120 DEX if you break the f2p sets and still need that -0.5s FCT for FAS. Even better if it is the slotted version and has Expert Archer 4 + Lucky Day or Hawk Eye enchants.
- Stylish Silent Shoe: A cheap shoe that offers nice damage benefits at +11 considering its cost. +30% property damage modifier, small leech effect, and enables “Greed” Lv1.
- Gray Wing Boots: Alone, it gives decent HP/SP/Ranged damage mods. Paired with WhiteWingSuit, you also get nice Crit Damage buffs and a solid +75% FAS buff at only +9! Not too bad for how cheap these items are. No Card Slot or FCT reduction though.
- Illusion Boots: Alone, it only gives some ACD reduction and Crit Rate buffs based on refine level, but gets much stronger with IllusionHunterBow. If both are +11, you get Crit damage+ASPD buffs and a chance to proc even more solid damage buffs too. Lower on this list since you really need the -0.5s FCT reduction and the shoe slot is the easiest place to get that.
- Peep Toe Sandals: A super cheap option that has a scaling +1 ATK per Base Level (so +100 ATK as soon as you can wear it) and +15% EXP buff if refined to +11.
- Striking Shoes: A Level 1 Armor that’s part of a 5-piece set (we’ll only be able to use 4 though) for some solid benefits. Each piece combos with each other piece in different ways, so you’ll want to research them yourself, but there’s some decent damage/ACD reduction/P.HIT/HP buffs you can reach here. The shoes alone give -30% ACD and +50 P.HIT at +9, as well as +10 Stats per 3 refines when paired with the garment. They do not have a Card Slot however.
Shoes Card:
- Entangled Intermediate Rgan Card: +5 Crit Rate on its own, but if on a shoe that is +12 or higher you get another +15 Crit Rate and +10% Crit damage mod. If that +12 shoe is also Level 2 Armor, you get a bonus +5 C.RATE too. This card also combos with JunceaWing for more buffs, making it the BIS (non-MVP) option overall. Do note that if the shoe is under +12 refine rate, you will actually get -10% Crit damage.
- Abysmal Merman Card: Small ATK bonuses based on STR but, when combo’d with AbysKingDramoh Card, you get a sweet +15% Crit Damage on a shoe of any refine level. If you’re wearing PayonCape, you get even more bonuses too. However, the new card above this only requires 1 slot and combos with the BIS garment, making it worth more while also being cheaper due to supply.
- Deadween Card: A simple and cheap card that gives +10% ATK when equipped to a +9 shoe with no downsides (besides being a bad modifier type lol).
- Greater Papila Card: Useless for us on it’s own, outside of +10% HP/SP buff, but when paired with Green Butterfly Clip, gives +200 ATK and +20% more HP/SP.
- Geffen Thug/Geffen Gang/Odorico/Blut Hase Card: All from Geffen Magic Tournament instance and give small combos of damage/crit damage/ASPD bonuses.
- Chaotic Baphomet Junior Card: Gives extra Crit Rate per 15 AGI, but main appeal is combo with Prontera Cape if the above cards are not available.
- Vicious Cookie Card: Gives ATK% based on refine at the cost of HP%.
- Papila Cae Card: Too expensive to truly consider unless you were using it for the "Arrow Shower" boost as Archer. Gives +2 DEX and +10% HP/SP.
Accessories:
Best In Slot:
- Document Archer [Right Slot Only]
- Faceworm Queen's Scale
Right Slot Options:
- Document Archer [Right Slot Only]: Amazing power boost for it’s price, especially when paired with OldCamoBunny at Lvl170. Even at Lvl100, it will give nice damage buffs, reduce all VCT for FAS, and (if paired with Dreaming Red Sheep) can be another option for full "No Limits" CD reduction. A must have BIS right-side accessory that somehow still continues to beat our new gear in terms of DPS.
- Memento Mori (Wind Hawk) [Right Slot Only]: Lvl190 requirement. A decent accessory on its own, offering +7 POW/CON, +100 ATK, -10% ACD, +15% class damage mod, and an awesome -0.5 FCT reduction (covers all of FAS's needs). This really shines, though, when used in the 5-piece Thanatos Set (or at least with ThanaBow-AD) for huge damage bonuses. Lower budget BIS if not using OldCamoBunny+DocArcher.
- Record of Archer [Right Slot Only]: Gives mediocre bonuses on its own, but gets a little better with OldCamoBunny, even granting Cicada Skin as a defensive skill. Starts to shine a lot more with Vol.2+OldCamoBunny though. Should be cheaper than DocArcher or can be bought with Kachua Mileage Coupons: https://irowiki.org/..._Mileage_Coupon
- Amulet of Asteria [Right Slot Only]: Strong enough for an acceptable generalist option for both physical and magical builds, but since DocArcher is so accessible you will probably never consider this.
- Ring of Hatred [Right Slot Only]: +20% HP/SP, +20% size damage mod, +20% EXP solo. When combo'd with LoveRing also gives +20% Drop Rate and permanent AGI UP Movement Speed. The best part? Can be worn from Base Level 1!
Left Slot Options:
- Icarus Gloves [Left Slot Only]: A strong, scaling option that can be worn from Base Level 1 but its benefits change depending on your level. Once you are Base Level 100, you get +12 POW/CON, +7 CRT, +50 ATK, -10% ACD, and +1% Ranged Damage per 3 Base Levels. Add on a cheap KacachIcarusCard in your garment for a bonus +10 DEX/AGI and +30% Ranged Damage too. Can be bought for Kachua Mileage Coupons: https://irowiki.org/..._Mileage_Coupon
- Perverse Demon Mask [Left Slot Only]: Could be listed above Icarus as BIS because of how expensive 100% DEF penetration can be, so this will be one of the most likely ways to obtain said penetration with 126 LUK for most low budget players. Not a bad accessory by any means though, offering nice bonuses for every 18 stats in each category. If you do not need DEF penetration, pass on this for anything else on this list.
- Green Butterfly Clip [Left Slot Only]: A strong option for all ranged physical classes. Basically Overdrive Rampage scaling damage with added LR mods and easy card combo for even more damage buffs that you can wear at Level 100! A solid left-side for many ranged classes if you have full DEF penetration from another source.
- Overdrive Rampage [Left Slot only]: Lvl 200 requirement. A very strong option with its scaling damage buffs and card slot. Still best for non-ranged classes so might be more versatile in that respect.
- Consecrate Fides Monile [Left Slot Only]: Lvl200 requirement. Overdrive's little brother, offering the same damage buffs but less additional benefits and no card slot. Ridiculously cheap though, making this an easy power boost for pennies.
- Hunter's Locket [Left Slot Only]: A solid accessory that gives +20 Stats/Talents/MDEF, +30% Ranged mod, and -20% VCT that can worn at Base Level 1. If you slot a HeartHunterATCard into your B-grade Armor, you also gain +15 P.ATK, +25% Ranged mod, and +25% Drop Rate (for loot farming or card hunting).
- Necklace of Alnilam [Left Slot Only]: Give +20 Talents/MDEF, +30% size mod, and -20% ACD by default. When you are under the VIP Buff, you also get +25 Stats and +25% EXP/Drop Rate. < NOTE: This accessory needs to be re-equipped every time you relog or swap maps to activate the VIP effects. >
- Memento Mind (Wind Hawk) [Left Slot Only]: Lvl190 requirement. A decent accessory on its own, offering +7 POW/CON, +50 ATK, -10% ACD, +10 Crit Rate, and +10% class damage mod but taking up a competitive slot. However, when part of the 5-piece Thanatos Set (or at least with ThanaShooterHelm-LT), this gets even stronger if you don't need PDM or have GBC.
- Record of Archer Vol.2 [Left Side Only]: Not as bad as Vol.1 solo, but taking up a more important slot. However, if you have your DEF Pene, this combo'd with Vol.1+OldCamoBunny is actually pretty strong! It also has some nice benefits like removing all VCT from FAS and reducing No Limits CD too. Should be cheap or can be bought with Kachua Mileage Coupons, but I would recommend saving for DocArcher instead.
- Black Eagle Ring [Left Slot Only]: Offers a solid +100 ATK, +10% ATK, +15% LR damage, and -5% ACD on its own, but gets stronger if you decide on making a CircletTime(Ranger) and enchant it. I wouldn't recommend it, but it is a farmable/cheaper way to achieve full VCT reduction for FAS if stats are still too low.
- Love Ring [Left Slot Only]: +20% HP/SP, +20% size damage mod, +20% EXP solo. Increased benefits from HatredRing (see above) and be worn from Base Level 1!
Any Slot Options:
- Faceworm Queen's Scale: A wildly strong accessory that can be worn in any slot from Level 1 on. +15% Ranged damage, +15 POW/CON, +15% ASPD, +300DEF (wut), +30 MDEF, +30 P.DODGE, and a scaling Critical AND Physical Damage buff that gives +1% every 5 Base Levels. With the Faceworm Queen MVP Card, this becomes even more powerful with an additional +20 POW/CON/C.RATE and +30% race mod. With a cheap Faceworm Card, you still get +3 POW/CON, +4 C.RATE, and +10% size mod. The damage potential alone makes this BIS, but there is also huge defensive bonuses in DEF/MDEF/P.DODGE here that will surely make this a strong option for a long time.
- Ring of Silver Claw: A very cheap option to get +10% ATK, +50 Crit Rate, and scaling 1% Crit Damage per 5 Base Levels. For lower budget builds, this is a great option if your FAS is not critting 100% of the time and a good damage option regardless. I'd list it as the low-budget BIS, especially as a 100 Ranger.
- White Fox Amulet: Lvl200 requirement. Made for Ninjas but offers POW +3, CRI +50, +10% class modifier, ATK +150, and is extremely cheap.
- Fluffy Cat Socks: Lvl200 requirement. Made for Dorams but offers POW +3, CRI +50, ATK +10%, ATK +100 and is extremely cheap
- Majesty of Yggdrasil: +25% ATK, +10% ASPD, -15% ACD, and +3 Stats is nice if you have nothing else to fill the slot.
- Ring of Jupiter: Most likely, when worn in the right slot, it gives +15 ATK per 10 LUK (that’s 180 ATK at 120 LUK) and +15% damage vs Boss Monsters at 125 LUK. Less likely, when worn in the left slot, it gives +2% HP/SP per 10 VIT and +300 DEF & +50 MDEF at 125 VIT.
- Old Detachments Ring: Useless on its own, but if using OldCamoBunny then it grants +70 Crit Rate and +70% Critical Damage. Sadly, it has no Card Slot.
- Archangel Ring: A cheap option (only 3 Kachua Mileage Coupons) for some small buffs but grants Shield Spell 1+2 for HP or SP regen, if you don’t mind shield-swapping.
- Noblesse Attack Ring/Imperial Attack Ring/Grace Attack Ring/Gray Wolf/Snow Flower Pendant & Earring: The armor for the Free-2-Play (f2p) gearsets that unlock every 20 levels or so. Even if you have no budget you can still gear up your build decently, but recent updates have made f2p gear less viable in the 200+ areas without heavy grind for enchants.
Accessory Cards:
- Void Mimic Card: +15% Crit Damage mod by itself? Can’t be beat as a solo, non-MVP/non-combo card for crit builds. Also not locked to left/right-only accessories either.
- Faceworm Card: Almost useless solo, but paired with FWQS yields better results than VoidMimic.
- Aferde Card: Left slot only. +6% ranged modifier. When combo'd with TimbersCard, get an additional +8%, totaling +20% ranged damage.
- Timbers Card: Right slot only. +6% ranged modifier. When combo'd with AferdeCard, get an additional +8%, totaling +20% ranged damage.
- Bloody Butterfly Card: Almost useless solo unless you need cast interruption prevention, but paired with GreenButterfly makes it a strong LR damage option.
- Demon God’s Apostle Shnaim+Ahat Card: These 2 only give HP/SP buffs by themselves, but give 15% size AND race damage mods when combo’d with Loyal Servant of Morroc.
- Cowraiders Class 1+2 Card: Left+Right slot only. Combo’d together are nothing special but if using Nightwatch Cape, adds +40% ranged damage and +30% HP.
- Pirate Skeleton Card: Useless unless you are using Alberta Cape, then it adds 20% ranged damage and +15% HP.
- Cloud Hermit Card: Useless on its own, but when combo’d with SnakeQueenCrown, grants +15% Ranged Damage mod.
- Ominous Heater Card: Mediocre buffs for Crit Rate+damage but super cheap.
- Gold Scaraba Card: Only gives +20 ATK but if you have nothing else…
- Phen Card: There are many ways to get cast interruption prevention, but this may be the easiest/cheapest for those early levels. You can even get one for free if you can clear the VIP Overlook Dungeon before hitting Base Level 85: https://irowiki.org/..._Dungeon_Quests
Shadow Gear:
- +10 Master Shadow Weapon+Shield & Bow Master Shadow Armor+Shoes+Earring+Pendant: Lvl200 requirement. Offers lots of buffs to ATK/P.ATK/ATK%/Ranged%/Size% and as long as all pieces are +9 or higher, you will get 100% DEF Penetration + 20% RES Penetration. Hard to beat, but the lack of enchants or flexibility may make other options stronger. Keeping it as BIS for simplicity's sake.
- +10 Physical Power Shadow Weapon+Shield: Strong combo that can be worn from Base Level 1 onwards. Can be enchanted for more damage or ASPD too. Simple BIS for all physical classes.
- +10 Full Power Armor+Shoes: Lvl200 requirement. Strong combo that gets stronger when used with PhysPowerShadows. Cannot be enchanted. Simple BIS for all physical classes.
- +10 Full Penetration Shadow Earring+Pendant: When worn together, grants 100% DEF penetration and can be worn from Base Level 1 onwards. Simple BIS for all physical classes since it opens up more damage gear options needing only 2 slots and can be enchanted too. However, 200+ introduces RES so you will need to look at other shadows for bypass that.
- +10 Purity/Corrupted Shadow Weapon+Shield: Almost as strong as PhysPower but with the added bonus of 50% DEF Penetration (and 12% RES Penetration for those late game monsters), but that’s not too helpful unless you can reach 100% elsewhere. The RES bypass is nice in late game dungeons, and the limited DEF bypass could be used in combination with other bypass gear if needed, making this a strong option especially with perfect enchants.
- +10 Maximum Mammoth Shadow Earring+Pendant: When paired together, gives some solid damage and HP buffs as well as preventing Knockback from enemy attacks. Can be enchanted too.
- +10 Full Penetration Armor+Shoes: The cheaper of the FullPene Shadow options but you lose the above combo for it, yet still better than using a PDM. Can be enchanted too.
- +10 Master Shadow Weapon+Shield & +10 M. Windhawk Shadow Armor+Shoes+Earring+Pendant: Lvl200 requirement. Not as strong as the sets above, but as long as all pieces are +9 or higher you will get the same 100% DEF Pene + 20% RES Pene. All pieces can be enchanted with Shadow Essences for guaranteed options. Read more here: https://renewal.play...aspx?id=394&p=1
- +10 Focusing Shadow Earring+Pendant: Lvl200 Requirement. Some damage-boosting accessories if you don’t have anything to fill that slot. Can combo with Concentration Shadows, but not recommended unless not using Full Power Shadows.
- +10 Concentration Shadow Weapon+Armor: Weaker versions of Physical Power set that focuses on CON and combos with Focusing set if applicable.
- +10 Maximum Mammoth Shadow Armor+Shoes: When paired together, gives some solid damage and HP buffs as well as preventing Knockback from enemy attacks. Can be enchanted too.
- +10 Infinity Shadow Weapon/Shield: Wearing one of these at +10 gives small damage buffs and reductions but, more importantly, removes the size penalty from your weapon.
- +10 Shooting Shadow Weapon+Earring+Pendant: Gives FAS and Crit Damage buffs as well as a potential 60% DEF Penetration when paired with Ranger Shadow Shield. Usually pretty cheap.
- +10 Blitz Shadow Weapon+Shield+Armor+Shoes+Earring+Pendant: The various combos of these shadows offers huge amounts of flat ASPD, Crit Rate, DEF, ACD reduction, and more. If looking to fill spots temporarily, especially for easy ASPD, these might be good options if cheap enough.
- +10 Ranger Shadow Weapon+Shield & Hunter Shadow Armor+Shoes & Archer Shadow Earring+Pendant: Wearing all 6 gives you several small bonuses and 50% DEF Penetration. A very cheap option to get half your penetration.
Costume Stone Enchants:
*NOTE 1: It used to be mandatory to get “Sniper Stone (Middle)” for the -0.5s FCT for FAS, but with the stone's price rising and tons of gear giving FCT reduction now, it it not as important anymore. However, I still strongly suggest it in case gear without enough FCT reduction comes out as new BIS for damage.
*NOTE 2: I have not tested a ton with min-maxing stones, so please let me know if you have confirmed better combos than the ones below. I will not be marking BIS due to this.
*NOTE 3: Enchant Stones only have a 50% Success Rate to be applied, so make sure you have a cool costume to enchant to always look your best! Enchant process can be found here: https://irowiki.org/..._Stone_Enchants
- Ranger Stone II (Garment) + Ranger Stones (Upper & Lower) + Sniper Stone (Middle) + Critical Stone (Dual)
- Guillotine Cross Stone II(Garment) + Assassin Cross Stone II (Upper) + Sniper Stone (Middle) + Guillotine Cross Stone II (Lower) + Critical Stone (Dual)
- Critical Stone (Garment) + Critical Stone (Upper & Middle <Fatal> & Lower) + Critical Stone (Dual)
- Range Stone (Garment) + Range Stone (Upper & Middle & Lower) + Range Stone(Dual)

< Discontinued as of August 2025 >
*Note that this is with a Level 200 Ranger so more damage is possible with POW+CON as Wind Hawk*
While there is more potential for this build with new broken gear, I don't intend to waste resources on a dead build.
An iconic build for Rangers that I used to hit the 175 cap years ago. However, as alluring as that large AOE is, this build is a trap for new Rangers to use as its damage ceiling is very low for the amount of money you need to put into it and the 3.2s CD is a huge blocker to fun gameplay and smooth DPS. You can't even remove some of said CD until Base Level 130 and you can't reduce it all until Base Level 170; even then you need to deal with an annoying RNG enchant system for a specific 3% option that can cost upwards of 100m (my recent enchant attempts took ~80m). To use it effectively, you get trapped with specific gear combos that are mediocre at best and it is basically required to make +14 Grade A armor to be viable in the 200+ dungeons. On top of that, it is not cheap/easy to get 100% DEF Penetration AND have full CD reduction. Can you get to 250 with it? Sure, with a big budget. Otherwise the cracks will start to appear as you level your Ranger, especially 150+, if you don't have a lot of zeny... It doesn’t even have a free-2-play gearset option from the Main Questline. On top of all that, it has no Crit capabilities meaning it can miss high FLEE MVPs using AGI UP if not adding in enough P.HIT. I’m not usually one to yuck someone’s yum, but stay away from this build unless you have disposable income and don't mind clunky leveling until 130 or 170+.
That being said, I’ll do my best to explain how to make the most of this build if you insist on sticking with it! BIS choices will be a little different here since so much depends headgear/weapon/accessory combos to lower that ridiculous skill CD, but let’s see how it goes. The name of the game is to reduce as much CD+VCT as possible for a more spammable AS (which = more DPS) and find a viable/affordable way to get 100% DEF Penetration.
SKILL NOTES: 9x9 AOE, 20 Cell Range, 0.3s FCT, 2s VCT, 3.2s CD, consumes 5 Arrows, damage is increased while under the self-buff skill: "Fear Breeze".
STAT & TALENT POINTS:
Since Archer Classes are squishy, you’ll want to master the flywing > skill > flywing manuever early. That allows you to focus on DPS first as a glass cannon of sorts. I recommend 90 DEX / 90 INT / 60 VIT by 99 Sniper, then getting DEX 120 next followed by 120 INT (or STR if you want to use Crow Tengu Mask). That is then followed by 90 VIT then enough AGI to hit 190+ ASPD then rest into whatever you like. If 60 VIT feels too low for those early 100s, you can also go 90 VIT first if preferred. INT will synergize better with this build for lower budgets/newer players due to SP management and VCT reduction, but STR does add minor ATK and Weight Capacity. LUK will be explained in the Accessory section as getting 100% DEF Pene might be hard/expensive with this build.
- STR: 1+
- AGI: 90+
- VIT: 90+
- INT: 90-120
- DEX: 120-130
- LUK: 1 or 126
After Level 200, you will stop receiving Stat Points and instead start building up Talent Points. These are more straightforward in distribution and while AS doesn’t directly benefit from CON in its formula, CON does increase HIT and damage. Start with 100 POW for attack power, then 100 CON for more power and HIT will be your goal. After that, the remaining points can go into STA for RES or WIS for MRES or reserved for the next update.
- 100 POW > 100 CON > Player's Choice
GEAR & CARDS & ENCHANTS:
Upper Headgear:
- Circlet of Time(Ranger): A craftable, Lvl170 requirement headgear that when refined to at least +11, combo’d with Black Eagle Ring (left-slot locked accessory), and randomly enchanted with ‘Temporal Jewel (DEX) Lv3’… will remove all VCT for AS, boost AS damage solidly, and reduce CD by 1.3s + 0.3s per 2 refines (THIS IS HUGE!!). With this full combo, it is possible to reduce CD to 0.1s with a +14 Circlet... While BER is cheap and mats for this are farmable/buyable, it is hard to recommend due to the random nature of the enchant system used and how difficult +14 (or even +12) is for a new player. You could combo with Adulter/VivatusBallista to help cover the excess CD, but you lose out on using DivineGandiva that way. The annoying enchant randomness and Accessory slot lost to BER (meaning no Butterfly Clip for damage or Demon Mask for DEF Pene) keeps it from being newbie-friendly, but this is easily BIS otherwise. More on the instance and enchant system here: https://irowiki.org/..._Challenge_Mode
- Biolab Virgo Diadem: Lvl170 requirement. While I won't tag it as BIS, to me BIS sometimes means foregoing gear with the biggest damage mods for DPS and ease of obtaining; Since AS needs so much CD, it truly gets locked into 1 of 3 headgear-weapon combos; this is the stronger of the 2 that only require getting gear (as in no enchanting needed) but has a higher level requirement. Gives some okay damage buffs alone but when paired with the FalkenShooter bow, it increases AS by 10% per weapon refine and reduces CD by a huge 2.5s. This is more likely to be a newbie-friendly BIS but leaves you with 0.7s of CD to deal with.
- Ignis Cap-LT: Lvl170 requirement. Strictly better combo version of the original (see below) but with how high reform and grading costs can be, Falken+Virgo is an easier choice (market depending).
- Ignis Cap Type K: Lvl130 requirement. This will be your go-to (almost required) headgear from 130-170 for the weapon combo with VirtualBow-OS. Good damage buffs and, more importantly, the 2.5s CD reduction will finally start to make this build feel good. It also gives some VCT reduction and reduces almost all of the FCT for AS. If VirgoDiadem is hard to come by, or you don't have the time/funds for CircletofTime, this could hold up until 200 and maybe beyond. That's why I am labeling it as a BIS option and it's also very cheap now or can be bought with Kachua Mileage Coupons: https://irowiki.org/..._Mileage_Coupon
- Autumn Headband: A great headgear that is my BIS for 100-130 due to scaling AS damage from Base Level and scaling ATK from DEX, but more importantly the 100% VCT reduction for AS. This is great when stats are still low as there is nothing worse than slow casting getting interrupted. The bonus SP leech chance is nice too!
- Wolf Officer Hat: Not a bad choice for early days in this build due to the damage boost and CD reduction for AS. Regardless, this is a must-have headgear for Rangers that you will carry with you beyond 200 for the No Limits CD alone. Essentially, you will swap to this hat > cast No Limits > swap to main headgear > be 350% more powerful with zero downtime! Due to its other solid bonuses (such as +25% property damage, +3 DEX per refine, and -30% ACD), this can easily be used from 100-130 to keep No Limits up 100% as you grind towards IgnisCapTypeK.
- Robotic Valkyrie Hairband: Finally, something to top Disciple of Bijou for an all-rounder, generalist upper (at least for Ranged classes) with a slot! Does require an expensive +14A refine, but then provides +300 ATK, +10 Stats, +7 POW, +105% Ranged Damage (dang!), +40% HP/SP, -40% ACD, and -0.5s FCT. Even if it was made for Meisters, it is a strong upper for any ranged class without specialty headgear. With a pretty cheap card combo, you can also get an additional +15 CON and -20% ACD too. This will yield the highest damage of the items listed but since CD is so important for DPS here, this is lower on the list.
- Disciple of Bijou: Base item should be cheap but expensive to grade. This is very commonly a BIS option for physical builds that don't have specialized headgear, but since this build needs exactly that, this might only be good for 100-130. Even though it has no Card Slot, it does combo with PowerfulArcherSkelCard which you may be using in the 17.2 Card Set anyway!
- Cute Marin Hat: Lvl200 requirement. An unexpected choice but at just +11, this hat offers a lot of POW (+18 and then +1 per refine), +40% class damage mod, +150 ATK, -20% ACD, and 20% damage reduction from all monsters. A strong and cheap option for how crazy cheap it is.
- Awaking Bloom: A solid generalist upper giving 40% property damage mod, 24% ACD reduction, 20% damage reduction, +10% HP/SP, and +10 Stats at +12.
- Snake Queen Crown: Lvl130 requirement. Absurdly cheap headgear (due to market saturation) that offers POW+CON, lots of damage mods, and if you can refine it to +13 you get a solid -0.5s FCT. If you can get some of the combo cards in your gears for cheap, it adds even more damage value but won't compete in DPS against IgnisTypeK due to AS's CD issues.
- Helm of Faith(Ranger): Lvl180 requirement. An acceptable damage option for AS that combos with the Adulter/VivatusFidesBallista. The combo's lack of at least 2.5s CD reduction makes it less viable overall, but the FCT reduction is nice.
- Poenitentia Purity Crown: Lvl200 requirement. An acceptable damage option needed for the combo with the Attendo bow (at Base Level 230 lol). The combo's lack of at least 2.5s CD reduction makes it less viable overall, but the FCT reduction and high damage potential could be nice if you don't mind grouping mobs first.
The P.HIT is especially nice for this build but this slot is very competitive.
- Catherina Von Blood: This used to be a necessary staple for early levels until the better iterations for mid+lower came out, but that just means this is very cheap nowadays. Could easily be used early on as Ranger (until the damage needs increase and NL can’t carry you anymore) for infinite leech.
Middle Headgear:
- Cherub Coronet: Requires 120 INT but offers huge ATK bonuses, status resistances, and more. Also is slotted too! INT is nice for SP management and may synergizes nicer than STR.
- Crow Tengu Mask: Requires 120 STR but offers solid ATK bonuses, damage mods, ACD reduction, and chance for HP/SP leech. Also is slotted too! STR is nice for carrying all those arrows as well but might not synergize as well as INT. **NOTE: For some reason, WP named this exactly the same as an older item so make sure you are looking for the one with the card slot.**
- Ancient Morroc Noble Jewelry: Slotted mid that requires a little bit different stat-build (due to how the gear works), but adds lots of ATK and gives damage+ACD benefits with a cheap and useful Marduk Card. This can become BIS in damage if you have a Pharaoh MVP Card slotted + Marduk Card (slotted in upper headgear for both combos).
- Purified Pigeon: Slotted mid that gives +12 Stats and -5% ACD on its own. When paired with VivatusFidesBallista, grants +300 ATK and -5% more ACD which might make this one of the best options.
- Seraphim Coronet: Requires 120 INT but offers solid ATK bonus and should be cheap. No Card Slot though.
- New Wave Sunglasses: Slotted version preferred. Not worth it on its own, but with GhostFire (see lower headgear) and some Talents, this can be an alright option.
- Demon’s Familiar: Slotted mid that gives +10 Stats on its own. When paired with Superbia Bow, grants +200 ATK.
- Vampire Von Blood: Small damage boost but gives big HP/SP buffs, leeches HP upon kills, is slotted, and gives nice damage reduction if paired with Bat Von Blood. Nice for early levels.
- Heavenly Order: Very cheap option that synergizes well if getting LUK for using a PDM due to buffs at same intervals. It gives small boosts to several various things for every 18 Stat Points in any category. This won't offer much of note if not going the LUK route, but offers +15 ATK/+20 DEF every 18 LUK if you do. Also enables the skill: "Item Appraisal" which can be quite nice actually.
- Battle Processor: Something is better than nothing lol. Tiny bit of ATK and slotted for 3 Kachua Mileage Coupons: https://irowiki.org/..._Mileage_Coupon
Lower Headgear:
- Cosmic Star Blessing: Current BIS lower, giving scaling damage with Base Level and +10 Stat/Talent boosts. It also combos with enchants on the current BIS armor, but getting a Star Cluster to Lv.3 is so time consuming or expensive, it may as well not be counted outside of the extremely wealthy.
- Bat Von Blood: Amazing lower giving +100 ATK, HP/SP leech, +15% EXP buff, and grants the ability to use the "Greed" skill. Not as much total DPS as the other items, but a worthy contender to use even until 250 considering the need for EXP at higher levels.
- Constellation Orb: Scaling damage with Base Level and +7 Stat/Talent boosts. Is quite cheap after CSB released.
- Loyal Servant of Morroc: Worthless by itself, but with Darklord Essence Concentration 3 + the 2 Demon God’s Apostle Cards, it’s a decent contender for BIS. It becomes BIS with that combo + Despair God Morroc MVP Card. I’d say it only loses to CO due to having so many slots taken to be better (and the Luck Essence isn’t good).
- Grey Wolf Cub in Mouth: Scaling damage with Base Level + Stat and HP boosts, can combo strong with Lvl180 f2p Gray Wolf gear and is fairly cheap.
- Dreaming Red Sheep: Caps at 15% size damage modifier, but also gives 15% ACD reduction and No Limits CD too.
I could see how this might be a min-maxer’s BIS lower but any of the above synergizes much easier and earlier…
- Love Piece: Until you get 100% VCT and FCT reduction, AS can be interrupted so using this will prevent that at the cost of your skills costing 15% more SP.
Headgear Cards:
- Abysmal King Dramoh Card: Gives ATK% based on refine at the cost of -5% HP, like Purple Ferus, but since you might use AbysMerman for combo with PayonCape and STR with Tengu or MorrocJewelry, this edges it out slightly. If you can't refine high or don't use AbysMerman, Purple Ferus would be preferred.
- Purple Ferus Card: Gives ATK% based on refine at the cost of HP%. For the min-maxers out there, at +12 this will give +1% more ATK than AbysKingDramoh.
- Marduk Card Card: Mainly for the combo with AMNJ, but having Silence protection is great since you might not be adding in INT to start (or at all). Can’t kill if you can’t AS! Not needed if going 120 INT and not using AMNJ.
- Denied Poring: Since mid-headgear cards are mediocre mostly, why not grab +10% HP?
- Darklord Essence Concentration 3: Not a “card”, but it slots into a gear’s card slot. This is only useful with Loyal Servant lower though and I would recommend slotting it into a mid-headgear if using one. **NOTE: Once you slot this essence into a piece of gear it is PERMANENTLY LOCKED INTO IT. Be cautious until iRO allows for it to be deslotted someday (if ever).**
Body:
- Abyss Lake Roaring Armor-LT: Expensive to reform, refine, and grade but with Legendary Dragon Shoes + Star Cluster enchants, it’s undeniably BIS. Ideal enchants would be Rune of Dexterity or +5 DEX in Slot 4, Nebula E.
Solid 2nd place contender with Lord of the Dead MVP Card, but even its other card combo gives nice benefits. Also gives -0.3 FCT which covers AS's requirements and "Hallucination Walk" is fun to get too.
The DEX is especially handy at low levels if you don’t have 100% VCT reduction.
- Abyss Lake Roaring Armor: Lvl130 requirement. A solid and cheap Level 1 Armor that gives plenty of damage buffs and can be reformed into BIS later on. Can be bought with Kachua Mileage Coupons: https://irowiki.org/..._Mileage_Coupon
- White Wing Suit (Full Set): I am only including this as homage to the true OG set for this build and that you could probably get it for almost nothing if you had no other options after changing to a Ranger. Requires 4 gear slots but gives a solid +50% buff to AS, +30% LR mod, +2 ASPD, and more based on refine levels. The full set includes the Manteau, Boots, and Brooch needed for the max benefits. These are also enchantable, but not worth spending time/money on that in the current meta unless very low budget. I won't be listing the other items in their sections so look those up if you want to see the full benefits.
- Mighty Black Threaded Armor: +80 ATK and 70% DEF Penetration at +9. Cheap way to get penetration (which this build can struggle with) at the loss of other damage.
Body Cards:
- Dame of Sentinel Card: Nothing special from 100-200 outside of some small DEX bonuses, but becomes BIS at 200+ when combo’d with Empathizer Card and 120 DEX.
- Restless Dead Card: Small ATK bonus but makes weapon+armor indestructible in battle, which is nice in some leveling areas. Shines a bit more if using RIP.
- Polluted Raydric Card: Gives 5% ATK bonus (but probably the crappy kind).
- Porcellio Card: A simple +25 ATK at the cost of a little DEF.
Weapon:
- Divine Bow Gandiva: <This is only truly BIS at 170+ once you can achieve appropriate CD reduction from CoT+BER combo.> Even though this is pricey to get, expensive to grade, gives no AS buffs or CD, and usually too much of 1 mod type is a bad thing… the stupid amount of Long Range Physical Damage this things gives (I mean, +10% per refine on top of +60% is nuts), plus all the ATK/P.ATK/Talents/Stats/Damage Reduction when fully graded, makes it the BIS without question. The Fire/Holy Arrow combo for +50% LR damage is just icing on top. However, that missing CD is once again the killer here, making it hard to recommend for this build until 170, but it is a very, very strong weapon.
- Adulter/Vivatus Fides Ballista: Level 4 Weapon+Lvl190 requirement & Level 5 Weapon+Lvl210 requirement respectively. Both provide solid damage buffs but only give 1.2s CD reduction, which means you’d have to use it with the Circlet of Time-Eagle Ring combo for full CD reduction (which just takes up too many important slots imo). These can also be enchanted for cheap due to market prices currently. Higher on list since you don’t need to grade it for CD reduction and will probably use this over PrecisionBow if your budget is lower; Adulter version is a solid contender for low-mid budget BIS.
- Falken Shooter: Lvl170 requirement, and horrible on its own, but see notes on Headgear: BiolabVirgoDiadem above for why this is one of my BIS choices for newer/lower budget players. The +10% AS buffs per refine level and the combined 2.5s CD makes this very viable. Don’t bother with the Cecil’s Memory enchant on this, it does nothing of value.
- Virtual Bow-OSAD: Lvl170 requirement. Strictly better combo version of the original (see below) but with its reform and grading costs (but no grading bonuses, wtf), Falken+Virgo is an easier choice (market depending).
- Virtual Bow-OS: Lvl130 requirement. See notes on Headgear: IgnisCapTypeK above for its combo benefits. Solid damage buffs on its own and can be crafted and even enchanted for additional buffs, like Long Ranged Physical Damage mods, Size/Race mods, ASPD, and more. Read up on that here: https://irowiki.org/...nt_and_Enchants
- Precision Bow: Lvl220 requirement, cheap to buy, and easy to farm/cheap to buy enchant mats late game option. Requires expensive grading and dungeon-specific enchanting to make it viable, but even then only provides 1.2s CD. This means you’d have to use it with the Circlet of Time-Eagle Ring combo which just takes up too many slots and Gandiva is the better choice if you have that needed CD anyway.
- Superbia String: Lvl150 requirement. Decent AS damage buffs and nice ATK buff with Demon’s Familiar, but only 1s CD makes this hard to be a definite choice.
- Poenitentia Attendo: Lvl230 requirement making this a very late game option, yet only offering 0.7s CD. When paired with its combo’d Purity Crown, it looks like it might boast the highest damage of the combos but since you lose all means of CD with it… you’re only able to do that burst of damage every 2.5s. Not recommended.
- Royal Bow/Awakened Royal Bow/Royal Bow-LT: Lvl100/150/190 requirements respectively, with the LT version being a Level 5 Weapon. Without any/enough CD offered it is hard to suggest these in comparison to the above options.
- Big Crossbow: Super cheap option for 100-130 that gives 5% AS damage per refine level. Since refining to +7 costs under 1m for a Refine Certificate, that’s 35% for pennies. Since no bow offers CD until 130, this can be used early on until then and even beats out Royal Bow (unless high refines are easy for you).
- Elven Bow: Super cheap option for 100-130 that has a +50% LR mod bonus when using Elven Arrows. Basically a strict upgrade from Hunter Bow but no CD offered obviously.
- Crimson Bow: Decently refined, this cheap as hell option can help bridge the 100-130 gap until better bows if you didn’t grab the f2p EdenBow or used a HunterBow+HunterArrows pre-100.
Weapon Cards:
- Powerful Archer Skeleton Card: Solid 12% Ranged damage on its own, but this shines for this build due to the Episode 17.2 Card Combo Set (with Sharp Magic+Papila Cae Cards). See the in-game description for Sharp Magic Card for details, but basically the combo takes 3 slots to give a 30% AS damage + 5% for every 2 refines of the shoe being worn. Pretty strong considering not many better non-MVP options anyway! It also combos with Bijou for +15% LR damage too. However, due to this card’s combos with other very desirable gear… it’s quite expensive.
- Kobold Archer Card: Useless on its own but placed so high due to its combo with AncientRangerShoes, giving a +40% boost to AS damage and +20% LR damage. Depending on your mods, this may perform worse than PWM but is significantly cheaper.
- Polluted Wander Man Card: +30% medium+large size damage. Slot 1 or 2 of these on your endgame bow since they can be quite expensive.
- White Knight Card: +20% medium+large size damage. If these go back down in price, they are a solid secondary option.
Garment:
- Royal Payon Cape: Unequivocally BIS for this build. At +14A, you get huge LR mods, Stat/Talent and damage buffs, Shield Spell if shield-swapping, and +120% AS damage. You miss out on a little CD reduction of other garments, but not enough to forego this huge of a damage buff and other benefits. This is almost required if you are going to level in 230+ dungeons. Base item isn’t too expensive these days, but grading it can be (as usual).
- Royal Alberta/Nightwatch/Prontera Cape: The Royal Capes are always good options, so if you have one of these from another class then they will be useful for the LR mods at least (NightwatchCape especially if you have +15A with the card combos). PronteraCape will only be a good option if switching to Crescive Bolt or Gale Storm as Wind Hawk. Price of grading is the usual blocker.
- Will of Ingrid: A dark horse option that I think is being slept on a bit. At +14A, this gives a ton of damage mods, POW/PATK/ATK/stats and even FCT reduction. Considering you may have tons of AS mods or tons of LR mods (like from Gandiva), this could edge out the Royal Capes depending. It's also versatile for many builds (even BIS for some), so worth looking into if you can afford to refine/grade it!
- Erymanthian Skin: Very solid, affordable option that is also a Level 1 Armor. Gives +30 DEX (nice for early level VCT reduction and ranged damage) and lots of damage buffs, but more importantly gives another 0.3s of CD for AS (and why I place it above BearAimed). Can also give Fire Damage immunity, which is neat!
- Bear Aimed Bag: Another cheap Level 1 Armor option that scales AS damage with your base level (+45% at 250) , as well as other damage buffs, +100 Perfect Hit, and removing weapon size penalty from your bow if refined to +13. If refining is no issue for you, this will be higher on the list than Erymanthian in terms of damage.
- Kiel Hyre’s Darkness: Lvl200 requirement. A strong Level 1 Armor option that, at +13, offers +15 POW/CON, +60 ATK, +20% ATK, +20% size mod, and +15% property mod. It does offer a penalty of +50% SP consumption per skill. If you somehow have both the Kiel MVP Card + Sealed Kiel Card, you’ll get another +15 P.ATK, -30% ACD, and a +32% vs boss monster modifier.
The garment alone gives -1% ACD reduction and +2% class mod per refine, as well as +10% ASPD, +25 P.HIT, +50 ATK, and +50 Flee.
- Avareco: Yet another cheap Level 1 Armor option. At just +9, you get +20% HP, +20% size mod, and a tiny SP leech.
- Prism Ranger Scarf: Not slotted. Gives an alright 30% LR mod but its main reason for being on this list is an alternative option to get the full CD reduction for No Limits. If you can’t find/afford Wolf Officer then you will want this for leveling the early levels.
Garment Cards:
- Empathizer Card: Only a 10% buff from 100-200, but easily becomes BIS 200+ with its 55% LR buff when combo’d with the proper armor card.
- Kavach Icarus Card: Useless on its own, but if you're using IcarusGloves for an accessory, this gives +10 DEX/AGI and +30% Ranged Damage.
- Ancient Wootan Shooter: Not as good as the above but gives 12% LR mod and 40 ATK at 120 DEX for only 1 Card Slot.
- Menblatt Card: Gives 1% LR mod per 10 DEX.
- Kung Fu Panda Card: Solid +100 ATK as well as scaling HP/SP/DEF/MDEF per 10 Base Levels.
Besides the crazy damage buffs, at +13A it also gives an entire -1s FCT.
- Ancient Ranger Shoes: Base item isn’t too expensive, but grading it is. This another important gear if you are going to level in 230+ dungeons (unless you have the shoes above). At +14A, it offers large damage and stat increases and a whopping 200% AS buff (more with card combos). Would easily be BIS if Abyss-LT+LDS weren’t so damn strong.
- Demon Hunter Shoes: A very expensive Level 1 Armor shoe that, if you can get to +14, offers 40% class damage mod,+98% HP buff, and the Occult Impaction penetration effect (essentially it does more damage the higher the target’s defense). This allows you to not need any DEF Penetration gear but I find the synergy of benefits from other shoes usually feels better. If it wasn’t super expensive, I’d maybe even place it in 2nd only due to the crazy DEF of endgame stuff and how hard it can be to find 100% DEF Penetration for this build without wrecking your stats.
- Pantheon Boots: An amazing alternative to LDS (if cheaper) for almost as much damage output (if no Armor combo). The benefits aren't too different from LDS honestly (huge buffs for the slot), but it does offer some better damage reduction and can proc the Stats Buff without a gear combo at +14A. Only offers -0.5s FCT reduction though, but that's plenty for AS needs anyway. Expensive option with the usual pricey grading required, and is only lower than RangerShoes because the armor combo is not helpful for this build and lower than DemonHunter since DEF Pene is a pain with this build.
- Kshatra Vairya: An extremely powerful Level 1 Armor shoe. At +13, you get +40% class mod, +15% size mod, +40% HP, -40% ACD, +39 to all stats, and a chance to proc even MORE buffs for 10 seconds. The only reason this didn't rate higher is the missing Talent buffs and how good the other shoes are and possible need for the FCT reduction, but it's a very strong option.
- Ancient Knight/Mechanic/Sky Emperor Shoes: Like the Royal Capes, the Ancient shoes are always solid options for endgame builds if you can afford them. These 2 are similar but I prefer Ancient Knight because the damage mods not being Ranged (we have plenty of that), the potential combo with the RIP armor/cards, and the massive HP boost if Grade A.
- Starry Sky Twin Prime: Expensive to get to +14 but since AS doesn’t need ACD reduction, +12 is fine here. Solid damage and ASPD buffs but also offers Perfect Hit +5 per refine level, which is worth considering since AS doesn’t crit.
- Stylish Silent Shoe: A cheap shoe that offers nice damage benefits considering its cost. +30% property damage modifier, small leech effect, and enables “Greed” Lv1 (which isn’t a bonus for this class).
- Peep Toe Sandals: A super cheap option that has a scaling +1 ATK per Base Level (so +100 ATK as soon as you can wear it) and +15% EXP buff if refined to +11.
- Zodiac Boots (Archer): For someone who has been shouting about “CD is king” for this build, I almost don’t want to include this to avoid new players falling for this item… However, if someone really wanted to sacrifice this slot and could somehow get the Cecil’s Memory enchant on their FalkenShooter (or Memory Record of Nostalgia) easily, this would remove the last 0.7s of CD alongside one of the 2.5s sets and up its value a bit. It adds minor ATK bonuses, VCT reduction, FCT reduction (more than what's needed for AS), and 40% DEF Pene with VirgoDiadem+enchant, but should only be a last resort pick. You could rock the ArrowShadow Set+RangerShadowWeapon with these for 100% DEF Pene if you have all the requirements though.
- Temporal DEX Boots: Only viable as a cheap option with 120 DEX if you need some FCT reduction or need big bursts of DEX at early levels for the VCT reduction with proper Expert Archer+Hawkeye enchants.
Shoes Card:
- Papila Cae Card: Only HP/SP bonuses on its own, but in the 17.2 Card Combo Set, adds lots of AS damage and increases by 5% per 2 shoe refines. Assuming in +14 Shoes, this card set would give a 65% AS buff. Main blocker is its price but, if you can get this card before starting your Archer, it is very helpful for leveling with “Arrow Shower”.
- Abysmal Merman Card: When combo’d with AbysKingDramoh Card you get bonus ATK for any STR you have (nice if going with the Tengu mid). Main draw is the +15% HP+LR damage bonus received from the Payon Cape though.
- Greater Papila Card: Useless for us on it’s own, outside of +10% HP/SP buff, but when paired with Green Butterfly Clip, gives +200 ATK and +20% more HP/SP.
- Odorico/Blut Hase Card: Both from Geffen Magic Tournament instance and give small combos of damage/ASPD bonuses.
- Vicious Cookie Card: Gives ATK% based on refine at the cost of HP%.
Accessories:
Right Slot Options:
- Amulet of Asteria [Right Slot Only]: Strong enough for an acceptable generalist option for both physical and magical builds, but may only be better than Ceyneian if you have tons of AS modifiers from PayonCape+RangerShoes due to the scaling flat ATK buffs.
- Document Archer [Right Slot Only]: Decent power boost for how accessible it is, even if it does nothing for AS itself, and (if paired with Dreaming Red Sheep) can be another option for full No Limits CD needed for full uptime of that buff.
- Ring of Hatred [Right Slot Only]: +20% HP/SP, +20% size damage mod, +20% EXP solo. When combo'd with LoveRing also gives +20% Drop Rate and permanent AGI UP Movement Speed. The best part? Can be work from Base Level 1!
Left Slot Options:
- Black Eagle Ring [Left Slot Only]: Decent its own (especially for its price), but when combo'd with a Circlet of Time enchanted with DEX Lv3, this is a mandatory BIS item due to 100% VCT reduction (may not be an issue at 170+) and the increasing CD reduction per 2 refines of the headgear. With a +14 Circlet, you have 3.1s of CD reduction! However, that refine level may not be doable for all players, and the Circlet cannot be bought pre-refined as its an Account-Bound item, so you may get stuck with a non-BIS weapon for the remaining CD. It also uses a very desirable slot (see options below) in a build that is starving for affordable DEF Penetration. These are the issues with this build for new players to be wary of but, if you are rich, this will offer the best DPS experience.
- Green Butterfly Clip [Left Slot Only]: Simply the strongest option for ranged physical classes. Basically Overdrive Rampage scaling damage with added LR mods and easy card combo for even more damage buffs that you can wear at Base Level 100. Would be an easy left-side BIS if you have full DEF penetration from another source and have enough CD from other sources to make DPS feel smooth... but as that is difficult with this build, it's more of a 2nd place contender unless longer CD really doesn't bother you.
This would rate higher if Wind Hawks weren't already drowning in Ranged modifiers. Add on a cheap KacachIcarusCard in your garment for a bonus +10 DEX/AGI and +30% Ranged Damage too. Can be bought for Kachua Mileage Coupons: https://irowiki.org/..._Mileage_Coupon
- Perverse Demon Mask [Left Slot Only]: Might be listed above GBC because of how expensive Full Penetration Shadows are getting (meaning this might be the most likely way to obtain 100% DEF Penetration). Unfortunately, this means 126 LUK (if no other DEF Pene source) which does not synergize well with this build and why I am placing it below. You could do less LUK if you have 50-60% from other Shadow Gear but you will need to figure out DEF Pene somehow if you don’t have a big budget. Not a bad accessory by any means, offering a nice bonus for every 18 stats in each category otherwise and you could utilize other LUK-based, damage-boosting mid-headgears to help with the stat direction too.
- Overdrive Rampage [Left Slot only]: Lvl200 requirement that is very strong with its scaling damage buffs. Still best for non-ranged classes so might be more versatile in that respect.
- Consecrate Fides Monile [Left Slot Only]: If you combined OverdriveRampage and AmuletAsteria, but removed the Card Slot, you'd get this item. Considering how stupid cheap it is, this is a great way for a low budget player to get a solid damage boost post-200.
- Ring of Ceyneian: Offers scaling AS damage: 25% AS mod at Base Level 250 (per ring) -- or 10% per ring at Base Level 100 (per ring) -- that doesn’t sound all that special if you already have so much from other sources, but it outperformed many options on this list in my testing at Base Level 200. Does also buff "Aimed Bolt" if you're going with a Hybrid build.
- Majesty of Yggdrasil: +25% ATK, +10% ASPD, -15% ACD, and +3 Stats is nice if you have nothing else to fill the slot and don't have much of a budget.
- Archangel Ring: A cheap option (only 3 Kachua Mileage Coupons) for some small buffs but grants Shield Spell 1+2 for HP or SP regen, if you don’t mind shield-swapping.
- Memory Record of Nostalgia: Incredibly cheap due to the server’s Spend Rewards always including these for some reason, but the main draw comes from being able to try to enchant them with 'Cecil’s Memory' for, unfortunately, too much money. However, outside of the niche use-case discussed in the Shoes sections, don’t bother with that.
Accessory Cards:
- Sharp Magic Card: Gives stats, HP +10%, and 10% AS damage alone but truly shines when part of the 17.2 Card Combo Set. See this card’s description or my Weapon and Shoe Card sections for the details, but this will most likely be the card you go with (at least for 1 slot).
- Bloody Butterfly Card: Almost useless solo unless you need Teleport, but paired with GBC makes it a strong LR damage option.
- Faceworm Card: Almost useless solo, but paired with FWQS yields some decent benefits.
- Demon God’s Apostle Shnaim+Ahat Card: These 2 only give HP/SP buffs by themselves, but give 15% size AND race damage mods when combo’d with Loyal Servant of Morroc.
- Cowraiders Class 1+2 Card: Left+Right slot only Cards. Combo’d together are nothing special but if using Nightwatch Cape, adds +40% ranged damage and +30% HP.
- Pirate Skeleton Card: Useless unless you are using Alberta Cape, then it adds 20% ranged damage and +15% HP for cheap.
- Cloud Hermit Card: Useless on its own, but when combo’d with SnakeQueenCrown, grants +15% Ranged Damage mod.
- +10 Physical Power Shadow Weapon+Shield: Strong combo that can be worn from Lvl1 onwards. Can be enchanted for more damage or ASPD too. BIS for all physical classes.
- +10 Full Power Armor+Shoes: Strong combo that gets stronger when combo’d with PhysPowerShadows, but Lvl200 requirement and cannot be enchanted. BIS for all physical classes.
- +10 Full Penetration Shadow Earring+Pendant: BIS accessory shadows since it opens up more damage gear options. Can be enchanted too. These are guaranteed to be the most expensive shadows on this list at 4B+ for the pair at time of writing this.
- +10 Full Penetration Armor+Shoes: The cheaper of the FullPene Shadow options but you lose the above combo for it, yet still better than using a PDM. Can be enchanted too.
- +10 Focusing Shadow Earring+Pendant: Lvl200 Requirement and decent damage-boosting accessories if you don’t have anything to fill that slot. Can combo with Concentration Shadows, but not recommended unless not using Full Power Shadows.
- +10 Concentration Shadow Weapon+Armor: Weaker versions of Physical Power set that focuses on CON and combos with Focusing set if applicable.
- +10 Purity/Corrupted Shadow Weapon+Shield: Almost as strong as PhysPower but with the added bonus of 50% (70%?) DEF Penetration and 12% RES Penetration for those late game monsters, but that’s not helpful unless you can’t reach 100% elsewhere.
- +10 Arrow Shadow Armor+Shield+Shoes: Gives AS and Ranged Damage buffs as well as a potential 60% DEF Penetration when paired with Ranger Shadow Weapon. This is important if trying to find an alternative way for DEF Pene with this build. Usually pretty cheap too.
- +10 Penetration Shadow Earring+Pendant: Only gives 20% DEF Penetration as the pair but if using one of the Race-specific Shadow Weapons that bypass that monster-type’s DEF (like Hunting Shadow Weapon), it will give 100% penetration! This can be a complicated (having to carry multiple Shadow Gears around) but cheaper way to get DEF Pene, but won’t be too bad especially if hunting in areas with only 1 or 2 monster types. Check out the set combos on this page to get an idea of what I’m talking about: https://www.divine-p...-shadow-pendant
*NOTE 1: I have not tested a ton with min-maxing stones, so please let me know if you have confirmed better combos than the ones below.
*NOTE 2: Enchant Stones only have a 50% Success Rate to be applied, so make sure you have a cool costume to enchant to always look your best! Enchant process can be found here: https://irowiki.org/..._Stone_Enchants
- Ranger Stone (Garment) + Sniper Stone (Upper) + Ranger Stones (Middle & Lower) + Range Stone (Dual)
- Shadow Chaser (Garment) + Range Stone (Upper) + Stalker (Middle) + (Shadow Chaser (Lower) + Concentration Stone (Dual)

To be fair, this build's guide will be primarily theory crafting/raw testing as I was not strong enough to use this build back when it was strong enough to be considered using. With Wind Hawk's "Crescive Bolt" skill being just a better version of this in every way, I only see Aimed Bolt (AB) mentioned in hybrid with "Arrow Storm" or auto-attack builds rather than a skill to be used on its own. Still, I think its always worth exploring builds of your favorite class even if just for historical learning purposes and to see if it can reach high DPS potential in proper conditions. While it used to have a daunting Fixed Cast Time (FCT) and Cool Down (CD), these are more readily handled in the current gear landscape. I'd say the biggest hurdle will be the wild 2s of After Cast Delay (ACD) to contend with, needing over 90% reduction for smooth spammability. On top of that, it is a Single Target Skill (so it's not viable for leveling) and it has no Crit capabilities, meaning it can miss high FLEE MVPs using AGI UP if not adding in enough P.HIT. I would recommend only veterans and people looking to try out forgotten builds aim to make this their primary skill. However, if you like to go against the grain, you might be able to make a decent AB build for very little budget compared to other builds as the Main Questline gives you free gear every 20ish levels that boosts AB. Checkout the “Noblesse Aim Suit”, for an idea of what the free sets offer, and this questline can be started as a Level 100 Ranger in “The Royal Banquet”
All that being said, I’ll do my best to explain how to make the most of this build if you insist on sticking with it! BIS choices will be a little different here since so much depends headgear/weapon/accessory combos to lower that ridiculous skill ACD, but let’s see how it goes. The name of the game is to reduce as much ACD+VCT as possible for a more spammable AB (which = more DPS) and find a viable/affordable way to get 100% DEF Penetration.
SKILL NOTES: Single Target, 20 Cell Range, 1s FCT, 2s VCT, 1s CD, 2s ACD, consumes 3 Arrows, damage is increased while under the self-buff skill: "Fear Breeze".
STAT & TALENT POINTS:
Since Archer Classes are squishy, you’ll want to master the flywing > skill > flywing manuever early or continuing using Ankle Snare for 1-on-1 combat.
These are more straightforward in distribution and while AB doesn’t directly benefit from CON in its formula, CON does increase HIT and damage.
- Helm of Faith II (Ranger): Lvl180 requirement. Offers some decent ATK+LR mods, as well as +15% AB damage per 3 refines and even bonus POW+P.ATK at higher Base Levels. At +11 it even offer -0.5s FCT and gets even stronger with Adulter/VivatusFidesAimingBow: An additional +10% LR damage and +5% AB damage per 3 refines of the the weapon. Between the damage+ACD from the weapon and PurifiedPigeon bonuses, this is a solid option for BIS in this build.
- Disciple of Bijou: Base item should be cheap but expensive to grade. This is very commonly a BIS option for physical builds that don't have specialized headgear due to its damage potential, but the -0.3s FCT and -25% ACD from Grade B is especially desirable in this build. Even though it has no Card Slot, it does combo with PowerfulArcherSkelCard for more damage! Probably best used with DivineGandiva.
- Biolab Virgo Diadem: Lvl170 requirement. Gives some acceptable ATK and damage buffs alone at +11 but when paired with AimingBow, it increases AB by an awesome 10% per weapon refine (more if the bow is enchanted with Cecil's Memory). Simple and sweet damage option, but lacking FCT or ACD reduction.
- Circlet of Time(Ranger): A craftable, Lvl170 requirement headgear that adds some decent AB/LR damage mods on its own. When refined to at least +11 and combo’d with BlackEagleRing (BER) you get more damage mods and 100% VCT reduction. If you can struggle through getting it randomly enchanted with ‘Temporal Jewel (STR) Lv3’, it adds -0.5s FCT and +20% AB damage per 2 refines. While BER is cheap and mats for this are farmable/buyable, it is hard to recommend due to the random nature of the enchant system used and how difficult +14 (or even +12) is for a new player. Losing the Left Accessory Slot to BER (meaning no Butterfly Clip for damage or Demon Mask for DEF Pene) which also keeps it from being best in damage too. In a perfect enchant world, you could also get 'Master Archer' for damage or 'Magic Essence' for FCT reduction to increase its value. More on the instance and enchant system here: https://irowiki.org/..._Challenge_Mode
- Wolf Officer Hat: Of all the Ranger builds, this one might benefit the most from this headgear. Besides the DEX buffs and damage modifiers, it also proves a sweet -30% ACD (which this build is thirsty for). Regardless, this is a must-have headgear for Rangers that you will carry with you beyond 200 for the No Limits CD alone. Essentially, you will swap to this hat > cast No Limits > swap to main headgear > be 350% more powerful with zero downtime! Due to its other solid bonuses, this can easily be used in the early game to keep No Limits up 100% as you grind towards stronger headgears.
- Snake Queen Crown: Lvl130 requirement. Absurdly cheap headgear (due to market saturation) that offers POW+CON, lots of damage mods, -10% ACD, and if you can refine it to +13 you get a solid -0.5s FCT (which might push this up on the list based on your other gear). If you can get some of the combo cards in your gears for cheap, it adds even more damage value.
- Awaking Bloom: A solid generalist upper giving 40% property damage mod, 24% ACD reduction, 20% damage reduction, +10% HP/SP, and +10 Stats at +12.
- Poenitentia Purity Crown: Lvl200 requirement. This is a strong damage option when combo’d with PoeniNervus. By itself, at +13 it offers several nice damage mods and -0.5s FCT reduction. With the bow, it also gets +15% LR mod and +8% AB damage per 2 refines. Unfortunately, the bow requires Base Level 230, which is a bit late in the game considering this skill is easily replaced by the Wind Hawk's "Crescive Bolt". If you are adamant on using this until max level, this combo will yield the highest damage.
- Ancient Morroc Noble Jewelry: Slotted mid that requires a little bit different stat-build (due to how the gear works), but adds lots of ATK and gives damage+ACD benefits with a cheap and useful Marduk Card. This can become BIS in damage if you have a Pharaoh MVP Card slotted + Marduk Card (slotted in upper headgear for both combos).
- Crow Tengu Mask: Requires 120 STR but offers solid ATK bonuses, damage mods, -10% ACD reduction, and chance for HP/SP leech. Also is slotted too! STR is nice for carrying all those arrows as well but typically doesn't synergize with Ranger builds. **NOTE: For some reason, WP named this exactly the same as an older item so make sure you are looking for the one with the card slot.**
- Purified Pigeon: Slotted mid that gives +12 Stats and -5% ACD on its own. When paired with a Vivatus Fides weapon, grants +300 ATK and -5% more ACD.
- Cherub Coronet: Requires 120 INT but offers huge ATK bonuses, status resistances, and more. Also is slotted too! INT is nice for SP management.
- New Wave Sunglasses: Slotted version gives -5% ACD and unslotted gives -10% ACD. When combo'd with GhostFire (see lower headgear) and some Talents, this can be an interesting damage option.
- Seraphim Coronet: Requires 120 INT but offers solid ATK bonus and should be cheap. No Card Slot though.
- Demon’s Familiar: +10 to all stats and gives +200 ATK if paired with Superbia Bow (which buffs AS a bit).
- Vampire Von Blood: Small damage boost but gives big HP/SP buffs, leeches HP upon kills, is slotted, and gives nice damage reduction if paired with Bat Von Blood. Nice for early levels!
- Heavenly Order: Very cheap option that synergizes well if getting LUK for using a PDM due to buffs at same intervals. It gives small boosts to several various things for every 18 Stat Points in any category. Outside of the ACD reduction from AGI, this won't offer much of note if not going the LUK route but offers +15 ATK/+20 DEF every 18 LUK if you do. Also enables the skill: "Item Appraisal" which can be quite nice actually.
- Victory Wing Ear: Slotted version preferred. +10 ATK and -8% ACD.
- Battle Processor: Something is better than nothing lol. Tiny bit of ATK and slotted for 3 Kachua Mileage Coupons: https://irowiki.org/..._Mileage_Coupon
Lower Headgear:
- Dreaming Red Sheep: Caps at 15% size damage modifier, but also gives 15% ACD reduction and No Limits CD too. The ACD needs of this build might make this BIS depending on your gear.
- Cosmic Star Blessing: Current BIS lower overall, giving scaling damage with Base Level and +10 Stat/Talent boosts.
I could see how this might be a min-maxer’s BIS lower but SmilingEyes synergizes much easier…
- Love Piece: Until you get 100% VCT and FCT reduction, FAS can be interrupted so using this will prevent that at the cost of your skills costing 15% more SP.
- Sparkling Stick: It's weird but when paired with a +11 IllusionHunterBow, offers -1s CD, -10% VCT, and +35% AB damage. Could be a budget option or if going hybrid with FAS maybe?
Can’t kill if you can’t AB! Not needed if going 120 INT and not using AMNJ.
Ideal enchants would be Rune of Dexterity or +5 DEX in Slot 4, Nebula E.
- Ceres Leather Armor-LT: Expensive to reform and grade, but offers some serious flat ATK buffs (nice for No Limits) and damage modifiers, especially with a AncientMimicCard+PantheonBoots. It’s based on refine level and grade but, at +12A, you also get a solid +80% AB damage mod too (but no FCT reduction sadly). The base armor is not worth using with this build. This guide will show what's needed for reform: https://renewal.play...il.aspx?id=1795 and the base armor can be bought for Kachua Mileage Coupons: https://irowiki.org/..._Mileage_Coupon
- Rest in Peace: Expensive to grade but gives a lot of ATK/POW/HP/SP/FCT reduction and more. Solid 2nd place contender with Lord of the Dead MVP Card, but even its other card combo gives nice benefits. Also gives -0.3 FCT and -15% ACD at +14C and "Hallucination Walk" is fun to get too.
- Screaming Ghost Party: Gives lots of damage buffs and -20% ACD at +13, especially flat ATK which works nicely with the No Limits formula. Great ‘Generalist Armor’ and it’s Level 1 so you can use those Refine Certificates on it and can be shared with both physical and magical classes too.
- Assault Suit: While not as strong as the options above, it’s still pretty nice for the price! 70% race damage modifier, 30 DEX, 250 ATK, and more is nothing to sneeze at. The DEX is especially handy at low levels if you don’t have 100% VCT reduction.
- Abyss Lake Roaring Armor: Lvl130 requirement. A solid and cheap Level 1 Armor that gives plenty of damage buffs, -15% ACD, and can be reformed into BIS later on. Can be bought with Kachua Mileage Coupons: https://irowiki.org/..._Mileage_Coupon
- Mighty Black Threaded Armor: +80 ATK and 70% DEF Penetration at +9. Cheap way to get penetration for your build at the loss of other damage and ACD/FCT reduction.
- Whiteknight Armor: No damage bonuses but does reduce ACD by up to 25% and gives a permanent "Endure" effect if +12.
- Noblesse Aim/Imperial Aim/Grace Aim/Gray Wolf Suit: The armor for the Free-2-Play (f2p) gearsets that unlock every 20 levels or so. Even if you have no budget, you can still run a decent AB build up until 200!
Body Cards:
- Dame of Sentinel Card: Nothing special from 100-200 outside of some small DEX bonuses, but becomes BIS at 200+ when combo’d with Empathizer Card and 120 DEX.
- Ancient Mimic Card: Nothing special on its own, but when slotted into Ceres-LT, gives a large ATK+damage mod bonus.
Weapon:
- Divine Bow Gandiva: Even though this is pricey to get, expensive to grade, gives no AS buffs or CD, and usually too much of 1 mod type is a bad thing… the stupid amount of Long Range Physical Damage this things gives (I mean, +10% per refine on top of +60% is nuts), on top of all the ATK/POW/P.ATK when graded, makes it an extremely powerful bow. Even more so with Fire/Holy Arrows. Almost always a BIS contender for any build from the sheer damage buffs alone, but its lack of CD/ACD/VCT reductions might hurt DPS for this build.
- Poenitentia Nervus: Lvl230 requirement. Expensive to grade (however, grading is not necessary outside of raw ATK buffs) but offers some serious damage potential with its matching PurityCrown. At +12 with PurityCrown equipped, you’d get an impressive +131% AB modifier, +10% ATK, -1s CD for AB, and the other bonuses from the headgear on top of already having a base ATK of 250. Unfortunately, the high level requirement is a bit late in the game considering this skill is easily replaced by the Wind Hawk's "Crescive Bolt". If you are adamant on using this until max level though, this combo will yield the highest damage especially with the new combo accessories that can auto-cast CB with AB!
- Adulter/Vivatus Fides Aiming Bow: Level 4 Weapon+Lvl190 requirement & Level 5 Weapon+Lvl210 requirement respectively. Both provide solid damage buffs, FCT reduction, and -10% ACD, as well as Vivatus's combo with an upper+mid headgear for more buffs. While VivatusAiming can be expensive to grade, both weapons can also be enchanted for cheap with Pontifex Courage/Tenacity items due to market prices currently. Respectable damage option for an endgame AB build but you will need to find your CD from RangerShoes if used.
- Scarlet Dragon Leather Bow/Awakened Scarlet Dragon Bow/Scarlet Dragon Leather Bow-LT: Lvl100/150/190 requirements respectively, with the LT version being a Level 5 Weapon. Solid AB damage buffs and ACD/VCT/CD reductions that makes these (mostly) cheap and viable options from 100-200 without being locked into a specific headgear. Damage aside, you can get -18 to 20% ACD with high refine rates, which is very nice for the weapon slot.
- Aiming Bow: Lvl170 requirement. Not to be confused with the Fides versions, at just +11 this bow gives +45% AB damage, -1s CD, and -16% ACD (more per refine too, which is great). It grows in power with VirgoDiadem (see headgear) and has an interesting combo with ZodiacBootsArcher (see shoes). It also can be enchanted with 'Cecil's Memory' for +7% AB damage and -2% SP Cost per 3 refines. The enchant is a pain to get/expensive to buy 5500 mats for, preventing this from being a BIS option, but could provide the highest AB modifier in the game. More on the instance and enchanting process here: https://renewal.play...aspx?id=356&p=1
- Bolt Shooter: Lvl170 requirement. Annoying to get on your own (need to roll for it with collectible materials), but usually very cheap. Offers +60 ATK, +10% ATK, +25% AB damage, -10% VCT, and -20% ACD at +11. Can also be enchanted for more damage options which can be reviewed here: https://irowiki.org/...nable_Equipment
- Illusion Hunter Bow: Lvl120 requirement. It's weird but when paired with SparklingStick, this offers -1s CD, -10% VCT, and +35% AB damage. Could be a budget option or if going hybrid with FAS maybe?
- Elven Bow: Super cheap option for no budget builds that has a +50% LR mod bonus when using Elven Arrows. Basically a strict upgrade from Hunter Bow but no CD offered obviously.
- Crimson Bow: Decently refined, this cheap as hell option can get you started until better bows if you didn’t grab the f2p EdenBow or used a HunterBow+HunterArrows pre-100.
Weapon Cards:
- Goblin Archer Card: Useless on its own but placed so high due to its combo with AncientRangerShoes (which you should have for this build), giving a +40% boost to AB damage and +20% LR damage plus +75 ATK.
- Powerful Archer Skeleton Card: Solid 12% Ranged damage on its own, and combos with Bijou for another +15% LR damage too. However, due to this card’s combos with other very desirable gear… it’s quite expensive.
Garment:
- Royal Nightwatch Cape: Expensive to grade but amazing amount of damage/Stat/Talent/ATK buffs always make the Royal Capes a viable BIS option. For this build, the Nightwatch version adds a ridiculous amount of LR damage modifiers, especially if you happened to snag/refine a +15A version and can slot both Cowraiders cards. AlbertaCape might be stronger with lower refine/grade levels, however.
- Royal Alberta Cape: Expensive to grade but amazing amount of damage/Stat/Talent/ATK buffs always make the Royal Capes a viable BIS option. For this build, the Alberta version yields the best results at a more obtainable +12B for raw damage output and its non-MVP combo card is very cheap for more damage.
- Royal Payon/Prontera Cape: Funny that the Payon version is not best for a Ranger build. The Royal Capes are always good options, so if you have one of these from another class then they will be useful for the Stat/Talent/LR mods at least. PronteraCape will only be a good option if going hybrid with FAS or switching to Crescive Bolt as Wind Hawk. Price of grading is the usual blocker.
- Bear Aimed Bag: Another cheap Level 1 Armor option that adds and then scales AB damage with your base level (totaling +45% at 250), as well as other damage buffs, +100 Perfect Hit, -12% ACD, and removing weapon size penalty from your bow if refined to +13. If grading is a cost issue for you, this will be a nice option!
The garment alone gives -1% ACD reduction and +2% class mod per refine, as well as +10% ASPD, +25 P.HIT, +50 ATK, and +50 Flee.
- Valkyrie Curse Blight: A cheap Level 1 Armor that, at +11, grants +25% property damage, +10 Stats, +22% HP/SP, Knockback Immunity, and a tiny HP/SP leech. If you can get to +13, you also get -20% ACD as well.
- Erymanthian Skin: Very solid, affordable option that is also a Level 1 Armor. Gives +30 DEX (nice for early level VCT reduction and ranged damage) and lots of damage buffs. Can also give Fire Damage immunity, which is neat!
- Divine Phoenix: Another cheap Level 1 Armor option. At just +9, you get +25% property damage, +10 Stats, +18% HP/SP, and a 5% HP leech chance.
- Avareco: Yet another cheap Level 1 Armor option. At just +9, you get +20% HP, +20% size mod, and a tiny SP leech.
- Prism Ranger Scarf: Not slotted. Gives an alright 30% LR mod and -10% ACD but its main reason for being on this list is an alternative option to get the full CD reduction for No Limits. If you can’t find/afford Wolf Officer then you will want this for leveling the early levels.
- Noblesse Attack/Imperial Attack/Grace Attack/Gray Wolf Manteau: The armor for the Free-2-Play (f2p) gearsets that unlock every 20 levels or so. Even if you have no budget, you can still run a decent AB build up until 200!
- Ancient Wootan Shooter: Not as good as the above but gives 12% LR mod and 40 ATK at 120 DEX.
- Menblatt Card: Gives 1% LR mod per 10 DEX.
- Kung Fu Panda Card: Solid +100 ATK as well as scaling HP/SP/DEF/MDEF per 10 Base Levels. The DEF/MDEF make this card more valuable for strong instance MVPs however.
Shoes:
- Ancient Ranger Shoes: Base item isn’t too expensive, but grading it is. An incredibly important piece for this build (worth considering even if you have the shoes below). At +14A, it offers large damage/ATK/Stat/Talent/ACD benefits and a whopping 200% AB buff (more with card combos). That's not all though, as you'll also get -0.7s FCT and the full 100% VCT and 1s CD reductions for AB. The synergy and flexibilty to other gear this offers puts it as BIS for this build imo, even if its damage potential is lower than LDS.
Besides the crazy damage buffs, at +13A it also gives an entire -1s FCT which covers all needed for CB in a single item!
Only offers -0.5s FCT reduction though. Expensive option with the usual pricey grading required, but does synergize well with Ceres-LT armor for a nice damage boost to AB.
- Ancient Knight Shoes/Ancient Mechanic Greaves: Like the Royal Capes, the Ancient shoes are always solid options for endgame builds if you can afford them. These 2 are similar but I prefer Ancient Knight because the damage mods not being Ranged (we have plenty of that), the potential combo with the RIP armor/cards, and the massive HP boost if Grade A.
- Starry Sky Twin Prime: Expensive to get to +14 but gives -30% ACD reduction, +40% property damage mod, and +20% HP/ASPD buffs but also offers Perfect Hit +5 per refine level, which is worth considering since AB doesn’t crit.
- Zodiac Boots (Archer): These could be an interesting damage burst option if the damn 'Cecil's Memory' enchant wasn't so annoying/pricey to get. Alone, at +12, gives +110 ATK, +6% ATK, +45% AB damage, -0.5s FCT, and -10% ACD (not bad). If you have the enchant (on AimingBow or MemoryRecordNostalgia), for every 4 refines you can reduce your FCT by -0.2s, reduce ACD by 5%, and reduce AB's VCT by 35% (which covers all VCT at +12). If you also add in the VirgoDiadem and they're all +12, you get 40% DEF Penetration and a neat +250% AB damage buff for 30 seconds after using "No Limits". Again, if all this wasn't hinging on an annoying enchantment, these could be a very strong option! If you do have all these things, this bumps up on the list by quite a bit.
- Temporal DEX Boots: Only viable as a cheap option with 120 DEX if you need some FCT reduction or need big bursts of DEX at early levels for the VCT reduction with proper Expert Archer+Hawkeye enchants.
- Noblesse Attack/Imperial Attack/Grace Attack/Gray Wolf Boots: The armor for the Free-2-Play (f2p) gearsets that unlock every 20 levels or so. Even if you have no budget, you can still run a decent AB build up until 200! Nice bonus is each of these shoes gives -0.5s FCT which covers half of AB's FCT requirements.
Shoes Card:
- Abysmal Merman Card: When combo’d with AbysKingDramoh Card you get bonus ATK for any STR you have (nice if going with the MorrocJewelry or CrowTengu mid). Also can get +15% HP+LR damage bonus if used with the PayonCape. The crit bonus won't apply unless procing CB with PoeniRing.
- Papila Cae Card: Too expensive to consider unless you were using it for the 17.2 combo as Ranger of for "Arrow Shower" as Archer already. Gives +2 DEX and +10% HP/SP.
Accessories:
Right Slot Options:
- Falcon Claw [Right Slot Only]: Strong on its own, giving +100 ATK, +15 Crit Rate, -10% ACD, +15% size mod, +35% AB mod. However, when paired with a +10 or higher PoeniNervus bow, you get an additional +10 PATK, +70% AB mod, and +15% size mod. Lots of AB mod even though it's part of a combo for CB.
- Amulet of Asteria [Right Slot Only]: Strong enough for an acceptable generalist option for both physical and magical builds, but may only be better than Ceyneian if you have tons of AB modifiers from PayonCape+RangerShoes due to the scaling flat ATK buffs.
- Document Archer [Right Slot Only]: Decent power boost for how accessible it is, even if it does nothing for AB itself, and (if paired with Dreaming Red Sheep) can be another option for full No Limits CD needed for full uptime of that buff.
- Poenitentia Ring (Wind Hawk) [Left Slot Only]: Strong on its own, giving +100 ATK, +15 Crit Rate, -10% ACD, +15% size mod, +35% AB mod. However, when paired with a +10 or higher PoeniNervus bow, you get the ability to proc CB with every cast of AB at a 40% chance. Not helpful from 100-200, but a nice bonus once you unlock CB if you were sticking with AB into Wind Hawk as CB is a very strong skill. Best if used with FalconClaw as well.
- Black Eagle Ring [Left Slot Only]: Decent its own (especially for its price), but when combo'd with a Circlet of Time enchanted with STR Lv3, it gives a nice -0.5s FCT and +20% AB damage per 2 refines of the headgear. If you need more FCT reduction and don't mind the horrendous enchant system for the circlet, this isn't a bad option for how little it costs if you have DEF Pene covered since it also uses a very desirable slot.
- Ring of Ceyneian: Offers scaling AB damage: 25% AS mod at Base Level 250 (per ring) -- or 10% per ring at Base Level 100 (per ring) -- that doesn’t sound all that special if you already have so much from other sources, but it outperformed most of the options on this list in my testing at Base Level 200. Also gives a solid -20% ACD for this build (so -40% if running 2). Does also buff "Arrow Storm" if you're going with a Hybrid build.
- Ring of Artemis: For this build, it only gives +3 CON and +10% ATK in terms of damage but (interestingly) it removes 100% of AB's FCT when worn. This could be quite important depending on your other gear! Otherwise, nothing special if you have FCT covered already.
- Memory Record of Nostalgia: Incredibly cheap due to the server’s Spend Rewards always including these for some reason, but the main draw comes from being able to try to enchant them with 'Cecil’s Memory' with causes this item to grant +70% AB damage! However, outside of that and the niche use-case discussed in the Shoes sections, it may not be worth doing for anything but an auto-attack build. If you insist on going with AB for 200+, this shoots up in value (if enchanted with 'Cecil's Memory') as AB can then proc "Hawk Rush" when used, yielding some nice extra damage output. Be aware the enchanting them is an RNG nightmare and may not be worth it due to current prices of mats.
- Majesty of Yggdrasil: +25% ATK, +10% ASPD, -15% ACD, and +3 Stats is nice if you have nothing else to fill the slot.
- Ring of Venus: When worn in the Left Slot, get +1% ATK per 10 AGI and -25% ACD plus permanent increased movement speed at 125 AGI. When worn in the Right Slot, +1% LR damage per 10 DEX and -70% FCT at 125 DEX.
- Archangel Ring: A cheap option (only 3 Kachua Mileage Coupons) for some small buffs but grants Shield Spell 1+2 for HP or SP regen, if you don’t mind shield-swapping.
- Noblesse Attack Ring/Imperial Attack Ring/Grace Attack Ring/Gray Wolf Pendant & Earring: The armor for the Free-2-Play (f2p) gearsets that unlock every 20 levels or so. Even if you have no budget, you can still run a decent FAS build up until 200!
Accessory Cards:
- Faceworm+Faceworm Dark Card: Since ACD is so important for this build, these 2 cards combo'd together gives -6% ACD, +3% ASPD, and some small stat bonuses. When FacewormCard is paired with FWQS, it yields better results than VoidMimic.
- Bloody Butterfly Card: Almost useless solo unless you need Teleport, but paired with GBC makes it a strong LR damage option.
- Cowraiders Class 1+2 Card: Left+Right slot only Cards. Combo’d together are nothing special but if using NightwatchCape, adds +40% ranged damage and +30% HP.
- Pirate Skeleton Card: Useless unless you are using AlbertaCape, then it adds 20% ranged damage and +15% HP for cheap.
- Demon God’s Apostle Shnaim+Ahat Card: These 2 only give HP/SP buffs by themselves, but give 15% size AND race damage mods when combo’d with Loyal Servant of Morroc.
- Cloud Hermit Card: Useless on its own, but when combo’d with SnakeQueenCrown, grants +15% Ranged Damage mod.
- Chaotic Acolyte Card: Left slot only Card. Simply -4% ACD but usually expensive due to its rarity.
- Sharp Magic Card: Gives some stats and HP +10%, as well as +10% AS damage if going hybrid.
- +10 Aimed Shadow Weapon+Earring+Pendant: Gives AB and Ranged Damage buffs as well as a potential 60% DEF Penetration when paired with Ranger Shadow Shield.
*NOTE 1: I have not tested a ton with min-maxing stones, so please let me know if you have confirmed better combos than the ones below.
*NOTE 2: Enchant Stones only have a 50% Success Rate to be applied, so make sure you have a cool costume to enchant to always look your best! Enchant process can be found here: https://irowiki.org/..._Stone_Enchants
- Ranger Stone II (Garment) + Sniper Stone II (Upper) + Sniper Stone II (Middle) or Ranger Stones (Middle) + Ranger Stone (Lower) + Range Stone (Dual)
- Shadow Chaser (Garment) + Range Stone (Upper) + Stalker (Middle) + (Shadow Chaser (Lower) + Concentration Stone (Dual)
- Range Stone (Garment) + Range Stone (Upper & Middle & Lower) + Range Stone(Dual)
